Victor is every woman’s fantasy—a handsome millionaire with a jet-setting life in New York City and a dark past. He’s also a master of erotic control who knows how to make any woman submit to him. Who could resist?
Sierra’s world is falling apart—her sister is in trouble after diving into the underground clubs in the city. Sierra has no one else to turn to, and Victor offers her passion and protection as she ventures into that world to try to help her sister. But can he love her or is she just a fling?
For Sierra, it’s worth the risk of heartbreak to find out. Even if it turns out to be smoke and mirrors, and the man she loves is an illusion.

I really enjoyed this book! I liked the relationship between Sierra and Lola and found it believable. I also loved Victor too and found the pace that their relationship grew at kept me interested in the story. A good read, especially if you've never read this type of book before.

Sierra and her sister Lola have lived together all their lives, and still as grown ups Sierra looks after her sister as she always has. So, when her flighty sister stops coming home like usual she decides to spy on her. What she finds in the process is one handsome Dom and a kinky lifestyle, she never thought she would find interesting. Things start to escalate with said Dom Victor and fast. But it seems everyone is telling Sierra lies, Victor and Lola included. So, Sierra has to decide if some lies are just too much to forgive.
There is a small introduction into the D/s lifestyle in this book, a couple hot sex scenes, and a lot of drama. The characters are interesting but the drama was just a bit much for me. I did enjoy the look into the kink lifestyle though. And, I love a good duel POV and this book has it.
I received this book in exchange for an honest review. The story started off strong. Interesting and fast paced. The characters were complicated and interesting throughout. My only objection was the ending. There seemed to be a lot of characters introduced towards the end but were not really elaborated on. It didn't ruin the story but I felt it was left open ended and maybe left open for another book but I felt they intertwined with this couple that they should have played out more in this book. I enjoyed the complexity of the characters and what that meant for their relationship and set drama. The ending just seemed... not rushed but too easily done if that makes sense. I'm really not sure how to explain how I felt about it. Overall I liked the book and the characters, the ending just left something to be desired. Thank you for the opportunity to read this.

I loved the Chemistry between Victor and Sierra. I personally feel like the book ended way too quickly. As a reader, I love to know what happens after all the drama. Do they get married? Have kids? I don't want to be left at "they moved in together". I would have like to read more into Vic and Sierra's love story than to hear any more about Lola, Sierra's sister.
Over all, good book. 3 stars.

This book had its ups and downs. The characters kept me interested throughout the book. It seemed that some of the story line was spaced out throughout the book, but then the ending was rushed through. Overall it was a good read. I really liked the fact that it had both Sierra and Victor's POV.
This book was different from the normal Dom , sexy story There was lots going on and even though it was lots it was easy to follow I like victor and the life he had lead The story is good and easy to read The ending came rather quick
