Another vacation souvenir book. This one is full of folk tales with characters and animals full of magic. It is written by the grandson to honor his grandmother who told these stories to him, often at bedtime. He starts each story with a glimpse into his life with his grandmother in Chimayo, NM. We drove through there this summer looking for weavers because that's what it is known for. We didn't find any open to the public type places so we drove on through. But having been there, I could better imagine the surroundings. Great collection of stories.
