Let me see if I can phrase this in the proper way, As soon as I seen the title, I’m thinking to myself sign me up…….. then in the first couple chapters I’m thinking to myself Holy smokes I love this psychopath, he’s right up my alley….. For a hot second there I had kind of bit my tongue and thought oh my God what did I sign up for, the main character is not going to do what I think he’s going to do…. But then Cat Said one thing and did another thing…….. As much as she tried to deny it she enjoyed being with him……..

Okay now here comes my complaints……….. 1st complaint……This book is part one of a duet, and therefore ends on a cliffhanger…… 2nd complaint Next book will not be released in till March…. yeah I know it’s only a month or two…. I could hear my friends now teasing me …… All kidding aside I really enjoyed this one both are broken in their own way and together I believe they fit together perfectly

I loved this MC dark romance! The possessive Razor and the shy, brittle Cat are explosive when they are together, in more ways than 1. (IYKYK) The characters were.written so well in my opinion. I experienced so many emotions while tagging along with them on this wild ride.. RAGE was a big one towards a certain person, who is really hope get what he deserves in book two.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves MC, dark romance and an all around good book! 🔪🏍🚭💜🖤

I wish I could rate this higher because I loved Tyrants Revenge… but the pacing was just too slow. This book should have probably not been a duet. I find for the most part duets get boring either in the first book by stretching the set up or In The last book because all the good stuff happened in the first book. Anyways there were too many details About where she lives, where she drinks coffee etc. I almost put it down at 25 percent because nothings happening btw the mcs. He’s offing people And she’s drinking coffee and eating cookies—- can anyone say Bor-ing! I might read the 2nd book as

MC hitman, and the target (daughter of a cop). Both the characters, plot, and the dark romance was well written. The flow allows heavy insight into the characters. if you like dark romance, this is for you. It is a slow to medium burn. make sure to watch for the trigger warnings! It finished on a cliffhanger, but don't worry a part 2 is coming soon!

This is the first book by this author I have read and I went in blind and so glad I took a chance on reading it.

The cover is beautiful the title of the book fits perfectly with the story

This book is amazingly written and flows gives a good insight into early life of both the fmc and mmc

The Hades hencemen are family and if you mess with one you can be sure to feel it from them all

Razor he dont believe he is psycho as he dont hurt good people our very own broken mmc

Caz her dad is the local cop and an ass this girl carries trauma.

This book isn't as dark as I usually read but does have some dark tendencies which for others could be triggering

overall I give this a solid 4.5 🌟

This was my first read by Raven Dark and I was not disappointed. Both the MMC and MFC were well written as is the plot. As a dark MC stalker romance check your triggers, there are a few if you are sensitive. Razor the MMC is the enforcer of a 1% MC and he is very good at his job. Cat the MFC is an innocent who longs for love and acceptance but feels she is unworthy. Both Razor and Cat are broken but handle it in different ways. Razor is a psychopath and a killer and he owns it but he has principles and that makes it OK right? Well in his mind it does at least. Cat is a strong woman even if she doesn't see herself as such most of the time. There is some great banter. There are also well written strong support characters in both their lives. Cat has her two best friends and Razor has his MC brothers. Razor falls fast and hard once he see's Cat even knowing he plans to use her to draw out his next target he knew she was his. The chance to follow Cat's and Razor's medium burn learn to work out what they feel as they fall into a relationship that neither have ever experienced. I enjoyed this steamy, dark grey MC romance and I think anyone who enjoys this genre will enjoy this book as well. This is a cliff hanger with some twists and I'll be looking forward to reading the second book in the duet and following Cat and Razor's find their HEA. I was given this book as an ARC and this is my honest review.

What is wrong with me that I’d become obsessed with a psychopathic stalker? Speaking of obsessed, that definitely describes Razor after just one look at Cat. He’s so crazy in the most beautiful way. Cat is such a relatable character. Her everyday life is full of problems that I feel like a lot of us deal with in today’s society. I loved the small rush of adrenaline this book gives wondering how Cat is going to react to Razor; if she’s going to turn him in or reject him. It kept me reading one page after another to the very end. The end, oh my gods. That cliffhanger was upsetting. I’m dying to know what he saw. I’ll one-click the next one just like everyone should one-click this one!

I am absolutely losing my mind and foaming at the mouth for the second book in this duet. Raven left it on a cliffhanger that’ll keep you awake at night (literally.. for days after I read this book, I woke up at random times in the middle of the night thinking about what could’ve happened right before the book ended)

Razor is one hot morally grey mc man🤭 and cat is the girl he sets his sights on. He makes some questionable choices but I adore him all the same.

There’s so much suspense and mystery to this book, rather than just romance. And I cannot wait for both the mc to get justice but also out sweet girl cat

Book two please come soon😭 I cannot wait to figure out what razor saw right before the book ended. And I’m also anxious for razor to finally learn what happened to cat’s face and who is behind it (my crazy man gonna go fucking bonkers)

I should like Cat, but I don’t. I’m hoping by book 2 she will graduate from having the personality of a wet rag cuz your girl needs some serious character growth.

The spice in this is entirely dubcon but rides the line of noncon because like I said Razor is a toxic douche.

Welllpp...this book!
So we have cat the FMC who is good and proper but oh so damaged with oh so much baggage. Then we have Razor the MMC....ohh Razor what a beautiful broken Derranged mess you are my boy! A biker with a mission for revenge and poor cat is right in the middle! What starts off as a job quickly turns into a need and razor will do what ever it takes to make cat his, wether she likes it or not! I was so torn, I hated razor, then I loved him when I knew I shouldn't, I couldn't help falling inlove with the psychopath we know as razor, just like his namesake he's sharp and dangerous but oh so sexy! And when cats body betrays her mind she's opened up to a whole new world, razors world! As there worlds collide cat has no choice but to endure razors wrath, and allow him to take every piece of her mind, body and soul. What begins out of anger, fear and hate soon turns into something much more special. This book does end on an epic cliff hanger but I promise it's worth it as it's set the scene for an epic second book. I can't wait to see where raven takes us in the next book, and how much further razor will go, coz trust he's already jumped the hell over the line. If you're like me and you cant resist a dominating psychotic bad boy like razor then get those batteries, charge those bobs and get ready for a look into razors beautiful messed up world

Dark MC Read

I love this type of genre and this is a fives-star read for me. Be warned of the trigger warning because it doesn’t deserve a lower rating because of the darkness. I fell for this book right away especially with the great characters this author created.

Razor is the hitman for the Hades Henchmen MC and he is every part of this crazy. Cat is the daughter of the dirty cop that tried to go after the club. Now Razor has his job cut out for him…especially since he has Cat on his radar now.

What a great book that left with one awesome cliffhanger which I cannot wait to get my hands on the next book in this duet.

If you love dark MC romance, you need to read this book. It is very well written and flows well. It is packed with lots of steamy romance and a love/hate relationship. The main character is a straight up stalker and alpha male and does not take “no” for an answer. I can’t wait to read the sequel coming out soon. Thanks to Raven Dark for another excellent book.

Wow.
Just… wow.
My mind is so blown that I’m having trouble finding the right words.
This is a dark stalker romance that makes almost every other stalker romance I’ve read seem light and fluffy. I mean this is a STALKER romance.
It stars a definite antihero with a lot of villainous traits, Razor. Razor is a psychopath; an unaliver who congratulates himself on being a good guy because the people he unalives are bad people (like child abusers, etc.). And the thing is, he got me rooting for him! (See: Antihero, Stockholm Syndrome.) Because Razor stands up for the underdog. He is also so beautifully broken that it made me want to make everything all better by giving him… we’ll start with hugs and move on from there.
Cat is so relatable it hurts. I think everyone has a way of hiding parts of themselves that are painful or perceived as ugly. Cat thinks her facial scars render her unattractive, and she makes herself smaller so nobody will look at her.
For all Razor’s crazy, he really sees Cat. Although he first treats her like a target, she becomes his absolute obsession and the center of his world. There is something appealing about being someone’s primary focus, I think, and that’s a big part of what makes Razor so appealing. Granted, the obsession is sometimes scary and involves more dub con and discipline than I personally prefer to read. But that’s a YMMV situation and not a problem with the book.
Because be warned: there is a lot of dub con and the book has more triggers than an NRA swap meet. There’s also graphic violence, language, painful physical discipline, discussion of abuse, discussion of sn*ff films, violent p*rn, firearms, unaliving, more dub con, confinement… and those are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head.
But the characters are rich and layered, the plot is arresting, the tension is gripping, and Razor is so powerfully delicious that I either need to add him to my book boyfriends or get a restraining order. Or both.
This book will hit you in the depths of your soul. There is no feeling neutral about it. It held my attention captive and I could not stop reading. The only reason that I am not standing on the roof screaming in agony is that the second half of the duet is coming in March.
I yearn for books that make me feel and think, so I love that this book enticed me to do both.
I now have a book hangover because this is one of the best books I’ve read all year.

Cliffhanger ending.

This book was well written, but I didn't like the story. The biker hero smokes cigars and cigarettes all the time. He tells the heroine he won't stop smoking and he won't change for her. Even though someone burned her face 3 times with a cigarette in her past.

He kills a guy who hurt her in the past and leaves that guy's bloody finger on her pillow in a jewelry box. She is terrified that someone broke into her apartment. But she refuses to go to the police because he threatened her with consequences if she did.

She was 20 and a virgin. He is 35. She begs him not to rape her and fights him but he rapes her anyway.

He then records a video of him raping her and sends it to her dad. He tells her he made sure it's just her face in the video. Then he gives the video to the biker's tech guy after promising her no one except her corrupt cop dad would see the video.

Beautiful and Broken is quite suspenseful and is definitely a page turning dark MC romance. I thought this book to be absolutely captivating from start to finish. Beautiful and Broken contains a marvelous plot, wonderful characters and a breathtaking ending for the main characters. The characters are well developed and beautifully executed throughout the story. Beautiful and Broken follows the adventures of Razor and Cat. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know both Cat and Razor as the main characters as well as seeing their story unfolding throughout the pages of the book. I’m looking forward to reading more amazing books from The Beautiful Duet series in the future. I would absolutely give this book as a recommendation for anyone who likes reading dark MC romances.

Oh hell no, you did not just end this book like that. WTF. That was so messed up. Now I have to wait for the next book damn it. Please hurry.

Cat is hiding because of what her piece of shit dad did. I'd really like to do some damage to him. She lives a quiet life and keeps to herself. She has two friends who are there for her no matter what. Too bad they can't help her when Razor enters her life and implodes it all to hell. Oh, the shit he does to her. A spatula, really??? WTH. The gift he left her was umm, yeah.

I hope I've confused you and intrigued you. Read this book you won't be disappointed. Just check your triggers. I was absolutely ok with everything, but not everyone will be. I definitely recommend this book.

Received an ARC for this and I fell into this book at the beginning and then I slowly lost interest. I did finish it and I did enjoy it. It's just not one of those books that I would pick up and read again. Book ends on a cliffhanger and of course definitely read the trigger warnings.

Razor is a hitman and his target is Cat, the daughter of the dirty police officer. She also has a lot of baggage. I kept going back and forth hating and loving Razor. I do need a bit more convincing with Cat. This is the first book and I am curious about what happens next, so I will read book 2

Being the first book in a duet, it's important to know that this book ends on a cliffhanger.

Beautiful and Broken sets up a really scintillating beginning to this story. Cat can't help her attraction to Razor despite the depraved things he does. The s3xual tension between them is written so well. I can't wait for the next installment to be released!

I tried to get into this book but it just wasn't happening, While the FMC's age made sense I feel the MMC could have very easily been aged down. The behaviors and mannerisms didn't read "psycho" or "maniac" it was just juvenile. Phrases like "that mug didn't disappoint" "I can tell she tried to cover them up with that crap girls put on their face." All of this is about the FMC. As this was a modern-day dark mc story, another phrase was out of place. "He's a warrior." This was referring to the FMC's sensai who was with her and her friend. Now this could be me being nitpicky but this sounds very "historical fiction" not modern-day. He's a pro, He's a trained fighter, He's no amateur, etc. Those all would have fit much better. The MMC reminded me of some 19-22-year-old who's never been within proximity of a woman.

I enjoyed reading this story! Really good world building. Razor and Cat are great charectors and their dynamic in relation to each other him a hitman her a police officers daughter..
