I found this book here in Pontevedra at Libreria Metafora. I was surprised to see such a niche title in English. This was an impressive academic study published through the Universidad de Vigo press.
Punk is looked at through a socio-economic lens. We are able to see the boom of the Swinging Sixties disintegrate into the discontent of the 70s. Punk would not have stayed alive in a boom period and these factors fed on each other to create this sub-culture, which has now spawned a thousand other subcultures.
