I gave up about 60 pages in. The female lead lost me after the picnic table romp with her ex who just happened to show back in her life after 20 years. After he dumped her for her sister. After he was released from prison for assault and attempted murder. After he was the last one to see the recently murdered coed. It was all just too annoying.

Enjoyed reading the book the main character at times annoyed me because she was a bit naive and the daughter was disrespectful and selfish. Lots of parts that were very good such as when the serial killers stalked and killed or when he had his creepy moments inside his head. Overall a good read
