Deciding to spend the holidays in the tiny Colorado ski town of Amber Falls brings some Christmas magic to the lives of the Portland Pirates linebacker Jackson Kincaid and his former team doctor husband, Simon Taylor.
Family time, reconnecting with old friends, and some sexy nights by the fire with the husband is all a man could ask for, right? How could life get any better than what they have now with their son Parker?
But through a fortunate turn of events, the Kincaids just might get their Christmas wish.
Two Point Conversion is an Unnecessary Roughness holiday novella from the Package Deal Series and a crossover with the Amber Falls series by Rheland Richmond.
Rheland is the ultimate bookworm, TV enthusiast, popcorn and ice cream connoisseur (Sweet and Salt is the best), and lover of all things cute and girly! From a young age, Rheland has been entranced by the magic of storytelling, diving headfirst into worlds of romance (before she was allowed to), and mysteries.
When she's not reading the latest romance novel or binge-watching her favorite TV shows (no horror, please!), you can find her writing stories of found families and forevers for her men.
Rheland is a hopeless romantic through and through with dreams of happily ever afters and swoon-worthy moments.
Rheland invites you to join her on a journey of laughter, love, and happily ever afters for her characters. So cozy up with a mug of cocoa or a glass of wine and prepare to fall head over heels for Rheland's men.
Rheland would love to hear from her readers and learn more about you. So if you get a chance... please get in touch.
This novella was the cherry on top of the Kincaid family cake! I loved getting this glimpse of Simon, Jackson, and Parker over a year down the line. It's Christmas time and the boys are off to visit some old friends near Simon's hometown. There's family time on the slopes, a heated pool, and a much loved bathroom with a rainfall showerhead. Hey, it isn't easy sneaking in sexy times when you're living with an inquisitive young boy! Everything about this novella was just sweet as sugar. If you loved Unnecessary Roughness, then this one can't be missed!
4.5 stars Great addiction to the Package Deal series: Jackson, Simon and Parker go to Amber Falls to spend a quiet Christmas together and they receive the best gift of their whole lives.
Both Simon and Jackson were thinking for quite some time about expanding their family and when the opportunity arises, they jump right in: however, since they're very decent people, they love Ava immediately but they also offer Nathalie a safe place to thrive and raise her babygirl.
We aready knew that Jackson took very care of Parker when he was born, so it wasn't a surprise seeing him expertly dealing with an infant. And now we got to see Simon with a baby in his arms too: he's a badass doctor, he's stern and very confident, but he went all mushy with Ava, he was so adorable. Parker is a great kid and I'll never be tired of reading about him. I wonder if he will have his own story one day.
The only thing that prevented me from giving five full stars is actually my own fault: I definitely wanted more pages about the Taylor-Kincaid family.
Definitely recommended, but this is not a standalone. Read at least Unnecessary Roughness first to see how Simon and Jackson fell in love and became a family.
I received a copy of this book from the author and this is my honest review.

This was a sweet Christmas novella which had lots of love and kindness as they had their biggest wish come true. Lots of feelings and emotions in this Christmas story as they reconnected with old friends and found new friends. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.
Another job well done for Emerson and Rheland!! This was the perfect continuation for Jackson and Simon and the adorable Parker. These two hold a special place in my heart and are still my favorite couple in this series. I love not only the chemistry they have for each other but the way they love and see each other for who they are is amazing! This is a book you don’t want to miss out on…especially the surprise Christmas gift for all!!
Jackson & Simon: the story of Amber Falls and Ava. Such a sweet story about all the change in their life. On vacation, Jackson thinks about his future and what he wants moving forward. They both know they want you to grow their family and an opportunity drops into their laps thanks to Luca. They handle it with the grace we’ve come to expect from these two. Offering options, love and security, Natalie makes up her mind and gives them the best Christmas present ever. Really enjoyed this short.
This was everything I needed to fill my cravings since finishing Unnecessary Roughness! It was so amazing getting to see how far they've come in a year since we left them, and that combined with the beautiful christmas setting was absolutely divine. It was full of spice and sweetness and I loved getting this glimpse into my favourite family in the series!
Simon and Jackson are spending Christmas in Colorado, Simon's home state. While this is a crossover with Amber Falls series, which I haven't read, it just felt like a reconnecting with old friends. There were friends and Family from the Package Deal series, sweet family time with Parker but best of all, a very sweet Christmas Wish ever!
I'm not sure how realistic this one is but it is so sweet, a little bit steamy, and a great extended epilogue story. We get an update on Jackson and Simon's relationship as they settle into their marriage and look to the future. I loved this opportunity to see more into their family dynamic and where they are going from here.
Well, if this wasn't just the cutest novella. These two just do everything with the biggest amount of love I have ever seen. Parker is still the most amazing kid. It was a joy to watch them get their baby girl while also being the found family Natalie needed. Callum and Declan should be interesting.
Absolutely gooey and adorable. The perfect winter holiday entry for the package deal series where Jackson and Simon go to Colorado to celebrate the holidays and come away with so much more. Hardcore found family vibes. Full Christmas miracle and baby fever all wrapped into one, and don’t forget the quintessential spice this series is known for AIYA!
This is a lovely holiday themed round up on Simon and Jackson. It’s really sweet and ties up their story, and Parker’s, nicely and rounds out the family. The found family theme and the idea of karma and paying things forward is a nice holiday message.
What a great follow up! It was so fun to catch up with Simon and Jackson and Parker! Add in old and new friends, and this was a super cute and satisfying story!
This was a quick read and it was filled with nothing but love and more love. If you liked Jackson, Simon and Parker you will love then after this one. This is a really good series!!!
I missed this series so it was nice to come back into it! Jackson and Simon are my least favourite couple so I wasn’t that into this book, but it was still a fun and short holiday read❤️
Perfect little short story that packed a bundle of holiday joy. Almost like a bonus epilogue to Simon and Jackson’s story, I truly enjoyed the happy ending to their happy ending. All wrapped up nicely in a found family bow. Must read!
I so love this family. They are amazing. The way Jackson and Simon are meant for each other is beautiful. They cannot get enough of each other either. Damn! It's hot stuff. They just work!
I absolutely loved Jackson and Simon’s book and when we get more of their story Sign Me up These authors don’t disappoint with this story. They give us more of their characters their family and extended family.
I enjoyed it is a great escape from reality. I like these characters .. I went back and read about Ford and Sawyer the joint books seem to be much better not sure why..
