The headstrong Little Miss Stubbon refuses to believe various characters advice when journeying to Mr. Strong's house for eggs.

The moral message is simple but effective for the youngest of readers as avoiding friendly advice sees her take an unnecessary long route to her destination.

It's also fun to see some of the other characters in this universe feature.

A great favourite at our house where all the little Miss's are stubborn especially when it comes to bedtime. It's good to have a favourite story book to entice them to bed.

This is one of those books where you get to the end and you look to see if the last page is missing. After showing symptoms of the common cold, Little Miss Stubborn has just eaten an enormous omelette after Mr. Strong, who she's been a total dick to, warns her that eating so much will make her sick. And then, the end. Does she get sick? Does she end up with a distended stomach? Does she get Salmonella? Does she have swine flu? Pneumonia? IS SHE EVEN STILL ALIVE? I guess we'll never know.

These books all seem to have a point. But this one is sadly lacking one. There could have been a great lesson...like if you are stubborn you will miss out on lots of things in life or if you are stubborn and keep wandering around Cold Land you will get frostbite or if you eat all of someones eggs without saying please or thank you, you won't have many friends(which doesn't have much to do with being stubborn)...something! But no ending is just not what I call a good Little Miss book.

Ah, Mr Men and Little Miss, how wonderful you are!

These books made up so much of my childhood. No matter what I would go ahead and pick one up. I worked my way through them all a couple of times. Each one has a wonderful story for the child to engage with, each character being fun to read.

Everyone has a bias for their favourite character, yet every book is delightful.

Girl oh girl, I'm telling you, it's not good at all to be that stubborn, hope you learn your lesson by now but because I know you well I guess you will never change.

This is definitely the funniest book I've read in a long time. I was never really into the Mr Men and Little Miss books, but I loved the Mr Men Show (seeing that intro and immediately shutting up and sitting down to watch is a highlight of my childhood memories). Reading this in French was much easier than anticipated, but it was so worthwhile, just for some extra vocab and more exposure to literary tenses while being at a level which I can comfortably breeze through. I really want to read the others now too. Would %100 recommend this to anyone, no matter their age. It's surprisingly sweet and it really appeals to my sense of humour. I just hope others can see what a delight this little book is.

I absolutely loved these Mr Men and Little Miss books. I remember getting them from my granny every week. There was so much from these simple characters, I remember filling my little bookshelf with all these books making sure I had got them all in right order. I wish I still had these books but somehow most of them got lost with many house moves or my mum gave the rest away. If I ever have kids, I will make sure they get the chance to experience these wonderful, colourful books.

This story is funny and I found the illustrations particularly fun. I bought this little book and others of the same collection because I was curious about them, having never read them as a child. Needless to say I'm not disappointed, they are pretty and the idea behind them is quite unique... I might get some more sometime.

I did not like this book because I do not like to be stubborn. I also did not like this book because Little Miss Stubborn was very stubborn.

Cartoonish though the pictures are -- delightfully cartoonish, to be clear...

And simple though these tiny books are -- my favorite tiny picture books ever...

"Little Miss Stubborn" is a world where the purpose is moral clarity, good character, personal growth.

The main character here fits right in.

FOR EXAMPLE

A friend told Little Miss Stubborn that she was about to take the wrong bus. He said:

"But this bus doesn't go anywhere near there!"

But Little Miss Stubborn took the bus anyway.

THIS BOOK COULD BE CONSIDERED GOOD MEDICINE

If you've had important relationships with even one person who is akin to Little Miss Stubborn. I have. And therefore, for this FIVE STAR book, I'm grateful.

Many, many waves of laughter roared through me. Maybe, Goodreaders, you'll find this book hilarious too.

You could safely say there is a little bit of every little miss character in all of us, we are all at times a little bit greedy, and scatterbrained, and brainy and neat, and on it goes, and we are all at times stubborn. There you have it, maybe we should be thinking of our own selves when we read these books? Don't say you don't enjoy it because it is a characteristic that you don't like, but rather see that characteristic in yourself and imagine how you can both change and use that same characteristic in a positive way.

Little miss stubborn isn't just stubborn, she's also incredibly rude. A very disagreeable character, so it isn't surprising that her adventure goes horribly amiss. However, I like that she seems to persevere, even if it means pretending that she enjoys something. Fake it till you make it but Little Miss-style.

An interesting series of books. Each presents a personality trait and leads the character through a day in their life. The book offers no resolution to the issue of the character. These books are definitely the START of a conversation; not the answer.

This has to be my least favourite book in the series. Why? Oh well, let’s put it this way, I don’t like it and I stay disliking it.

This book had so much potential for important lessons and strong morals to the story, all of which were ignored, making the ending quite disappointing.

There is a definite moral to this story - being stubborn only sends you from one disaster to the next. That could explain a lot about my life...
