A Geek Girl’s Guide to Murder is a fun new cozy mystery by Julie Anne Lindsey. The characters are likable and the banter is fun. Mia Connors works for Horseshoe Falls Community doing IT. There is a problem with the email system and residents are getting coupons and setting up fake appointments. Mia finds her friend dead after he and friend Nate wanted to tell her something. The new Head of Security, Jake Archer, thinks Mia is involved in the death. Jake’s brother Dan is the Detective on the case. Mia has a nice family including her twin sister Bree and their Grandmother. They all go to Renaissance Festivals together. On top of the dead body, her friend Nate is missing and the killer is on to them. There is a mention of rape (not very cozy) but overall this is a fun cozy mystery and the banter and growing friendship between Mia and Jake make it really engaging. The audiobook narrated by Sarah Beth Goer is well done.

I got an audiobook of this one. the title sounds good, so very cute. But to find that Mia have a best man friend while employs an assistant that she don't think much of him but was letting him do most of the work.

Right off the bat, I smell the rat... after I skipped around a bit, and find the killer at the end, I decide I am really tired of the Mia's personality and how she talks round and round and not get to the point, a bit tiresome.

I am calling it done. guess the round and round talk is really authors way of stretching the story out because the killer is right there next Mia.
