Montana Desire is a fantastic contemporary romance by Vella Day. Ms. Day has delivered a book that is well-written and packed with outstanding characters. Randy wasn't sure what would happen when he was asked to work with Ali. First, he needed to apologize. Ali and Randy's story is packed with drama, humor and smoking hot sexy bits. I enjoyed every page of this book and look forward to my next book by Vella Day. Montana Desire is book 1 of the Rock Hard, Montana Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

This book was a bit of a standalone. It was really good but there wasn’t much of the familiar characters in it. The story was great and then the next book tied them all together. I hope to see more of these Rock Hard, Montana books sometime soon. Loved it!

The characters are a couple who broke up in college so they could each work towards their dreams for the future. When random events bring them together can they move past their teenage love into an adult relationship? I highly recommend this book.

Who's rating this so high? A bunch of church ladies? This was not hot nor steamy. It was meh. In fact, I was really annoyed at the overly anxious doctor and the way both he and her alleged BFF treated her.

Ali Mcdaniel and Dr Randy Carstead had been high school sweethearts. Randy had broken Ali’s heart over 13 years ago. He had broken up with her to go to college to be a Doctor. Ali wanted to try to make along distant relationship work, but Randy just did not see away that it would work.
Randy Carstead is a nice looking doctor who buries himself in his work. Has very little time for a personal life. Now 13 years later Randy finds out that Ali will be coming to town and has requested to work with him. Oh how the emotions and guilt flooded him. So many questions. Why would Ali want to see him and little long work with him? Was she seeking revenge? How would she react to him? Would their love be rekindled? All good questions and you have to read the book to find out.
Ali who is building her own business sees an opportunity to return home and work with Randy for about 3 weeks. After suffering a bad marriage Ali is one to shield her heart, but oh how she secretly longs for Randy. The sad thing about it she see what lies before her. Both are workaholics, both live far apart, and believes her dreams cannot come true. Will she be able to open her heart to love? When it comes to their work will they be able to slow down? Will she be able to allow her dreams to come true? Good questions and read the book to find out.

Dr. Randy Carstead and Ali McDaniels have a history together. They used to be in love until Ali broke it off when Randy went to med school. She thought it was the responsible thing to do, to allow him to concentrate on med school. That was twelve years ago and this is now. He is working at the Lucy Ambrose Centre for Excellence. The local hospital where Ali is contracted to do some work with a training program and she has specified that he be the Doctor to help her.
Both Randy and Ali are still harboring attraction for one another and it does not take long for things to heat up in the bedroom once again. It is going to be slow going as both are older now; they are more mature and understand what it takes to make an adult relationship work. But in the discovery period they can certainly have a lot of fun. They experiment with motorcycle rides, picnics and chocolate sauce.
This is a story whose character you will recognize and it is good to be back in touch with them again. Vella Day writes a pretty romance with some hot sex scenes thrown in. She can usually be counted on to provide a story worth sitting down to and devoting some time to and this one was certainly true to form. The characters are likeable, the storyline flows nicely and the sex was hot, what more could you ask for? A great summer read. I would give this story a 5/5 and recommend to all romance readers

The author promised me steamy sex in this tale of two high school sweethearts who went off to do their own thing back in the day. He became a doctor and she has her own business. They have come together again on special project at the hospital where Randy Carstead works. Ali McAndrews has her work cut out for her to keep things strictly businesss between her and the hot doctor. The sexual tension is palpable between the two former lovers. Trying to keep things professional will be hard indeed.
Be prepared for the steamy love scenes as Ms. Day heats up the pages. Along with the romance there is a great story of rekindling a past love and what it means to the two characters. The author makes you root for a happy ending and doesn’t disappoint.
For anyone who likes a lot of steam in a novel this will tantalise fans of erotic romance. I give this a five flame heat level that will rival Jamaican death chicken wings.

new series same quality,
I only discovered Vella Day recently when her first book from the Montana Promises series was available free from Amazon. She has now become a favorite author of mine. This book is the first book of a new series of Novellas that takes place in Hard Rock, the same town as Montana Promises series. Vella's quality of writing in this Novella as well as all her other stories is superb. You can't go wrong with this short story and if you enjoy it as much as I did be sure to check out for Montana Promises series.

Ali McDaniels and Randy Carstead went their separate ways when Randy entered medical school. After Ali's divorce, she threw herself into creating her own business. When a special project comes up in Montana, she requests the now Dr. Randy Carstead to work with her. Randy realizes he isn't over Ali and wants a second chance. Ms. Day takes you through their struggle to rekindle their relationship. Hard choices have to be made. Who will make the first move? I loved this story.

This was a really fun, steamy read from an author I already love. I loved seeing Ali and Randy as they reconnected and all the misunderstandings before they realized how to leave the past behind them. I love a story with a great romance and HAE and this one did not disappoint in any way. I can't wait to see what Ms. Day comes out with next in this series.

Wow loved it, enjoyed how Randy still loved Ali after all the years, was glad when Ali realized the same, wAs a little disappointed they way the book ended but here's hoping there will be more. Awesome read.
