This book is made by the author who created "The Art of Manliness" website. A lot of the topics are taken straight from the website. Each day, there is a different task to do, or something you must take a step towards doing. A lot of the tasks were things that I already do. However, some of them can only be done if you have access to certain things or are not incredibly relevant to all men, especially for those living outside of western countries. However, overall I thought there was a lot of good advice, and the book was well researched.

I didn't do all the exercises, just was curious about what this book could offer, but it didn't disappoint at all. Men must be men and stay strong physically & mentally, despite the propaganda and modern discrimination of masculinity. In my opinion all these exercises would be a very good move toward right direction.
4/5 (for practical stuff & simplicity)

The Art of Manliness

Czytanie bloga Art of Manliness skłoniło mnie do zapoznania się z książkami pana McKaya.

"30 Days to a Better Man" to książka ułożona w taki sposób, by codziennie zapoznawać się z jednym rozdziałem o długości artykułu. Dlatego czytanie jej nie stwarza żadnego wyzwania, można to robić spędzając raptem kilka minut każdego dnia. Każdy z artykułów przedstawia pomysł, ideę, co można zrobić z wolnym czasem danego dnia. I tu zasadniczo przechodzę do treści.

30 Days to a Better Man is a book is a humorous and intriguing book that tell man how to act, behave… This book does not have a story but just a narrator that is telling you reader how a man should act. It is not too long to read and you only have to read one chapter per day but you have to do the exercise that is given. This narrator give us hint of how to be better man in life just by doing one of the exercise everyday. Those exercise are pretty easy like finding a Mentor because you need to have a model that can guide you in your life. Or having good shoes because even if you have good clothes, hair… you need to have good shoes otherwise you are not “perfect”.

The fact that in this book we have to do the things given in each chapter really challenged me because for some of them it took me a lot of time to do them. As I read the book I understood more of how to be a better and I saw that we were all already doing at least one of the things. For me it really help me to focus on what i like to do because it showed me that I have to do what I can’t. The book is really well written, it has a lot of details that make us clearly understand how to do what we are supposed to do. The authors manages to draws the reader into the book because we want to know more things to know how to be a better man.
In conclusion this book is really good and give real help even if it’s funny.

30 Days To A Better Man is the best of the free e-books put out by The Art of Manliness. McKay’s book contains 30 tasks that the author recommends men practice or learn how to do. The tasks range from shining one’s shoes to naturally boosting ones testosterone to writing a budget to learning a manual skill. McKay also explains the reasoning behind each task. My only complaint is that the links didn’t work when reading on the kindle app on iPhone. Overall very good.

Good enough book about building manly skills. Some seemed worthwhile, others not as interesting. I liked the book well enough but not life changing. A quick read that can be skipped through to hit the interesting parts. I really like The Art of Manliness website that the author has. You should subscribe to its email list. 3 stars.

The most inspiring days of the relay were:
- Day X : Find your N.U.T.s
- Day Y : Conquer a Fear
- Day Z : Write a Love Letter

and finally, the straight razor shaving day!

Excellent book

I bought this book a couple years ago but I just got back to reading it. I'm going to continually be coming back to this book. I want to thank the author for all he does in helping men be the best version of themselves. I've been truly helped by a lot of the content.

Essentially 30 blog posts released in ebook form, as the author openly points out in the intro. I found most of the goals to be doable, and they were no doubt good for me. It was a fun month's worth of tasks.

A fun way to work on yourself

Easy to read and understands, a great way to start or end each day of this challenge. The eBook version did not work well for me, some pages were blank for some reason.

Decent book, some good ideas, not sure how all of them applied to becoming a better man, but yeah. I often found myself thinking, "Do normal people have time for this?"
