The Count of Monte Cristo offered a darker, more introspective tale of betrayal and retribution, with intricate plotting and a deeply philosophical core.

رواية موجهة للناشئة واليافعين، أنا على يقين أنني لو قرأتها قبل عشرين عامًا لأعجبت بها

رغم فنتازية هذا العمل الروائي القصير والجانب الخيالي السردي
القابع بين مُعظم الصفحات، لكن كونه يُخاطب فئة الناشئة
فحتمًا لسنا بمكان نحنُ البالغين لنقوم بنسف هذا العمل والمجهود
جملةً وتفصيلًا في الوقت الذي جاء هذا النص الأقرب للمسرحي
كما ارتأيت يُناسب تقريبًا مستوى تلك الفئة التي كُتب من أجلها.
أحداث القصة تتمحور حول الكونتيسة بيرت والتي تقوم بقطع وعد ونذر
بأن تقدّم لسكان المنطقة المحيطة بالقصر، وكلهم فقراء
عصيدة العسل بكل أول أيّار من كل عام
ثم قامت بعمل رق مدوّن به كل هذه التفاصيل حتى لا يُهمل ولا يُنسى
يتعاقب بعد وفاتها والكونت أوسموند السخي أيضًا الكثير من الخلفاء
في امتلاك أو إدارة القصر، فبعضهم يلتزم بالوصيّة وبعضهم لا يلتزمون
ومن هنا تبدأ صراعاتهم مع عفاريت القصر وهم (أقزام الكوبولد)
الذين كانوا مُحبين للكونتيسة والكونت لطيبهم ورقة قلوبهم
والأقزام يضحون أشبه بالوصي على القصر والذين يعاقبون كل
مُخالف لوصيّة الكونتيسة بعمل عصيدة العسل كل عام.
يحدث أن يتزوج ابن الكونتيسة ويصبح لها حفيد(هيرمان)
لكنه يعاني منذ طفولته مع زوجة أبيه الظالمة بعد موت أمه
ثمّ يظهر شبح الجدّة الكونتيسة بيرت في العديد من المواقف
حتى النهاية التي تكون بأن تخبره الجدة(الشبح) بحقيقته وأنّه حفيدها وهو وريث القصر
ثم تريه الكنز الذي خبأه جده الكونت أوسموند
ويتزوج هيرمان قريبته الشابة الجميلة هيلدا ابنة البارون فيلبولد.

-كان هناك فارس مقدام اسمه اوسموند فون رونبرغ، تزوج بامرأة نبيلة تسمي الكونتيسة بيرت.
-كانت الكونتيسة بيرت عطوفة رقيقة القلب تساعد أهل قريتها دائماً. نظرا لما تتمتع به هي وزوجها من خصال حميدة كان هناك أقزام، يسمون أقزام الكوبولد ،يعتنون بمحاصيلهم وبيتهم، كانوا بمثابة الحظ السعيد لهم.
-كانت تقيم في سنوية تجديدها البيت للفقراء ولاهل القرية وليمة كبيرة يتغنون بها بقية الأيام وقد كتبت علي نفسها ميثاق أن يستمر هذا اليوم بعد موتها يقيمه أي شخص يرث القصر.........

أوكي..كتاب نقراه لصغاري لو درت صغار في يوم من الأيام..مش حاجة كبيرة..صنفوه مع حكايات ماقبل النوم للأطفال وأكثر من هكي..من حكايات الأطفال اللي مافيهاش أي متعة للكبار..يعني لو ماعندكش صغار ماتقراشي =))

December 30, 2025Read during Halloween this year, because I read in a piece by Marx's Afro-Cuban son-in-law, Paul Lafargue, that Marx enjoyed reading Dumas, and elsewhere, that he was particularly fond of reading horror stories by Dumas. So I thought this little goblin story, by one of the most well-known Black writers in the Western literary canon, would be a fun Halloween read. Hope to read the Count of Monte Cristo someday soon, based on Dumas' father, the Black revolutionary, Thomas-Alexandre Dumas.

Alexandre Dumas's short story is not one that is typically cited when listing his works. has been masterfully translated into English by Alix Daniel, all the while retaining the structure and tone of a traditional folk or fairy tale. Beneath its seemingly whimsical surface, the story deals with multiple themes, including social responsibility, greed, and the importance of tradition. It is interesting that Dumas chose German folklore with the cobolds as the enforcers of moral order, and the ghostly spectre of the countess reappears several times within the story. The story unfolds over several generations, the characters as varied in personality and morality as the various monarchs of Dumas' time, and could be interpreted as a satire of the society of his era. In the end, the humble and good guy wins, with a charming happily ever after that leaves the reader satisfied and content as a good fairy tale should. Having only read Dumas' more celebrated epic works, this tale was refreshing and delightful for me, and after reading Alix Daniel's English translation, I was curious enough to seek out the original French version for a second look and enjoyment. I really enjoyed this novella!

من أدب الناشئة الفرنسي العالمي، نقرأ هذه الرواية القصيرة لرائد الرواية التاريخية ألكساندر دوما، وهي رواية تصلح لكل الأعمار، ويستطيع الآباء أن يقرأوا فصولها على الأبناء، كما أنها ماتعة للكبار الذين يشعرون بالحنين لحكايات الطفولة الأسطورية الخيالية التي تروي مغامرات البشر الطريفة مع الجن والعفاريت، والرواية إلى جانب المغزى الأخلاقي الذي تدور حوله عقدتها، فهي حافلة بالرسوم الجميلة التي تصور كل الأحداث التي تمر بأبطالها فصلًا بفصل وفقرة بفقرة، فهي بالمثل متعة للعين والفكر وسلوى للقلب والوجدان.

لأوّل مرّة يتمگن گتآب من خدآعي 😔.. روآية طُـفولية جدآ و أقل .. بالرّغم من ذلگ لمْ أجِد تلگ القِيم أو الدروس المُرآد بهآ تربية الطّـفل .. للأسَف، حتّى لأطفآلي أستبعدْ قراءتهآ، فعقولهمْ تَستحِـق أَجْـوَد من ذلگ ..!~

الكتاب الرابع لعام 2022م.. ✨
أنها المرة الأولى التي اقرأ فيها لهذا الكاتب، اسمه بكله قد جذبني لأن أتصفح عناوين رواياته وكلها كانت عناوين جميلة.. اخترت منها هذه الحكاية ولن تكن الأخيرة.. وقد تُرجمت عن اللغة الفرنسية.
نوعها : من أدب الطفل ولكنها للكبار كذلك. أحببت كثيراً الرسومات التي بها.
لم أود أن اقرأ حالياً أدب الطفل، لانه في مخططي فترة معينة سأقرأه فيها... ولكن لا بأس كانت رفقة ممتعة جداً.
رواية جميلة ممتعة فيها نبض من الخيال السلس. تتحدث الرواية عن قصر فيستغاو وعن أقزام صغار لربما يقصد بهم تشبيهم ب "جن" اقزام لكنهم يحملون الطيبة الكبيرة ويحبون الخير. وكذلك عن الكونت أوسموند والكونتيسة بيرت.
كانا كلاهما طيبان خلوقان جداً نحو شعبهم، وحينما شعرا ذات يوم بأنه يجب عليهم أن يعيدوا تشييد بناء القصر، تخلا عن فكرتهما تلك، بسبب اخلاصهم لعادات اجدادهم وهو وجود الجن الاقزام فقد يصبح ذلك تصرف سيء لهم وقد لا يكون لهم وجود في التششيد الجديد.
كان للاقزام دوراً في حماية قصر فيستغاو من العديد من ظواهر الطبيعة وبذلك كان ذلك دليلاً لكل من الكونت والكونتيسة على وجودهم حقاً.
حينما علم الاقزام برغبة كل من الكونت والكونتيسة، وتخليهما عن فكرتهما بسبب نيتهم الطيبة. أثر ذلك على الاقزام فظهروا لهم واقترحوا عليهم اعادة تشييد القصر كونه اصبح مهترأ.
بدأ العمال في تشييده ولكن ذلك كان سيتطلب سنوات كثيرة وبذلك ف وجود الاقزام، كان لهم دور كبير في ان يتم انهاء القصر سريعاً حيث انهم كانوا يعملون في الليل.
وذات يوم جاء شرف عصيدة العسل...حيث أن الكونتيسة وعدت العمال بأن إن انتهوا من عمل القصر خلال مدة قد حددثها فإنه سيتم تذكاراً في كل تاريخ من ذلك التاريخ بتقديم وليمة عصيدة العسل.
بالتأكيد قد فرح العمال بذلك الوعد، فقد كانت تلك العصيدة بمقام وليمة فخمة في زمنك الحالي.
وبالفعل انتهى العمال وألتزمت الكونتيسة بوعدها، وختمت ورقة كعقد يلزم منها الى احفادها ومابعدهم.. وذلك بأن يلتزموا بهذه الوليمة لكل شعب تلك المنطقة.
واستمر ذلك لسنوات، وجاء الوقت الذي توفى فيه كل من الكونت والكونتيسة.. ومن هنا هل سيتمر اقرباءهم من بعدهم بذلك الوعد؟؟..
في الحقيقة حدثت الكثير من الامور، وهناك من لم يكن يلتزم فكان يواجه شبح الكونتيسة بيرت و"جن" الاقزام.. ومنه يغادر القصر خوفاً، وهكذا استمرت النفوس تلتزم بداية وبعدها يحتويها الغرور فلا تلتزم..فيطارده شبح الكونتيسة.
من هذه الرواية أظن يقصد بها "الطمع مهلكة" "ووعد الحر دين"
في الاخير يثبت لنا الكاتب أن النفس الطيبة الحنونة الغير طماعة الصادقة... هي من تنتصر نحو السعادة لنفسها ولمن حولها.

رواية جميلة ممتعة فيها نبض من الخيال السلس. تتحدث الرواية عن قصر فيستغاو وعن أقزام صغار لربما يقصد بهم تشبيهم ب "جن" اقزام لكنهم يحملون الطيبة الكبيرة ويحبون الخير. وكذلك عن الكونت أوسموند والكونتيسة بيرت.
كانا كلاهما طيبان خلوقان جداً نحو شعبهم، وحينما شعرا ذات يوم بأنه يجب عليهم أن يعيدوا تشييد بناء القصر، تخلا عن فكرتهما تلك، بسبب اخلاصهم لعادات اجدادهم وهو وجود الجن الاقزام فقد يصبح ذلك تصرف سيء لهم وقد لا يكون لهم وجود في التششيد الجديد.
كان للاقزام دوراً في حماية قصر فيستغاو من العديد من ظواهر الطبيعة وبذلك كان ذلك دليلاً لكل من الكونت والكونتيسة على وجودهم حقاً.
حينما علم الاقزام برغبة كل من الكونت والكونتيسة، وتخليهما عن فكرتهما بسبب نيتهم الطيبة. أثر ذلك على الاقزام فظهروا لهم واقترحوا عليهم اعادة تشييد القصر كونه اصبح مهترأ.
بدأ العمال في تشييده ولكن ذلك كان سيتطلب سنوات كثيرة وبذلك ف وجود الاقزام، كان لهم دور كبير في ان يتم انهاء القصر سريعاً حيث انهم كانوا يعملون في الليل.
وذات يوم جاء شرف عصيدة العسل...حيث أن الكونتيسة وعدت العمال بأن إن انتهوا من عمل القصر خلال مدة قد حددثها فإنه سيتم تذكاراً في كل تاريخ من ذلك التاريخ بتقديم وليمة عصيدة العسل.
بالتأكيد قد فرح العمال بذلك الوعد، فقد كانت تلك العصيدة بمقام وليمة فخمة في زمنك الحالي.
وبالفعل انتهى العمال وألتزمت الكونتيسة بوعدها، وختمت ورقة كعقد يلزم منها الى احفادها ومابعدهم.. وذلك بأن يلتزموا بهذه الوليمة لكل شعب تلك المنطقة.
واستمر ذلك لسنوات، وجاء الوقت الذي توفى فيه كل من الكونت والكونتيسة.. ومن هنا هل سيتمر اقرباءهم من بعدهم بذلك الوعد؟؟..
في الحقيقة حدثت الكثير من الامور، وهناك من لم يكن يلتزم فكان يواجه شبح الكونتيسة بيرت و"جن" الاقزام.. ومنه يغادر القصر خوفاً، وهكذا استمرت النفوس تلتزم بداية وبعدها يحتويها الغرور فلا تلتزم..فيطارده شبح الكونتيسة.
من هذه الرواية أظن يقصد بها "الطمع مهلكة" "ووعد الحر دين"
في الاخير يثبت لنا الكاتب أن النفس الطيبة الحنونة الغير طماعة الصادقة... هي من تنتصر نحو السعادة لنفسها ولمن حولها.

يمكن لعصيدة عسل ان تصفع أقوى الرجال وتضع نهاية لأستبداد أكبر الملوك!

الكتاب من خلال (عصيدة عسل) .
عصيدة العسل تقليد في قصر الكونتيسة بيرت حدث بدافع الخير والحب لتشجيع العمال الفقراء على أستكمال بناء القصر الا انه يتحول بفعل الظروف التي تحل بالعائلة وتمنعهم من تأديه الطقس إلى لعنة على كل من يسكن القصر بعد ذلك ولا يلتزم به.
رأيي:
القصة ممتازة جداً ومشوقة للكبار والأطفال على حد سواء.
لكن هنالك بعض الأمور التي أعتقد بإنها يجب أن تناقش مع الأهل والطفل.
وهي تشبيه جُبن "هانز" بالمرأة العجوز
واعتقد بإن ذلك اسوء شي ممكن ان يحدث لامرأة كبيرة في السن.
فهي كائن يستحق كل الرعاية والحب ويجب أن نجعله يشعرُ بوجوده وبأنه ليس وحيد لا أن ندعوه بهذه الألقاب.
اما باقي التفاصيل فهي جميلة جداً وخاصة الخط أما الرسومات التي تزركش الصفحات فإنها تبعثُ بشعور مفعم بالحياة .

August 17, 2021بعد قراءة كسارة البندق يبقى لالكسندر دوماس نفس السحر والابداع في رواياته الموجهة للناشئة ، وقد أثبتت رواية عصيدة الكونتيسة بيرت قدرته على جذب القارئ مهما كانت فئته العمرية والدليل على ذلك أنني قرأتها لاخر سطر دون تجاوز نمطي للمقدمة وفي جلسة واحدة ، بل وقد يجبرك أيضا على البحث عن المزيد من مؤلفاته في هذا الصنف لتشبع رغبة ما لم تكن تعرفها .

كانت تجربة ممتعة جدًا.. وهي من أدب الناشئة والفنتازيا.. هتكون مناسبة جدًا لقصص قبل النوم.. اسلوب الكاتب كان فصيح شوية وقوي.. وقوته دي خلتني اجد صعوبة في فهم بعض الكلمات.. .هنلاقي فيها معاني حلوة وهي ان الطيبة والخير دايما بينتصروا.. بعيدًا عن فلسفة الكبار.. دي ممكن تعتبر فاصل جميل وممتع

رواية ممتعة و خفيفة أذا كنت تمر بفتور قراءة الكتب يجب أن تبدأ بها لأنها قصيرة أحببتها جداً لأن الحقبة الزمنية جميلة أحب ك هذه القصة في العصور الوسطى ♥️

I'd never heard of The Porridge of the Countess Berthe, an overlooked fairy tale by Alexandre Dumas, newly translated into English by Alix Daniel, and published by Cybirdy Publishing.
This lovely vintage fairy tale is described as a goblin story, but the little Cobolds who live in the medieval Rhine castle are more like brownies than D&D kobolds. These friendly, secretive but powerful little creatures once lived happily in the castle's foundations, doing secret tasks to help beneficent rulers. There are hints from the beginning that these castle Cobolds would be more than capable of pranks and vengeance on unkind humans, but fortunately, the original Count and Countess are kind to everyone.
The good Countess Berthe is as thoughtful and honest as she is lovely. She is respectful to the tiny cobolds, earning their trust and assistance. She asks for help in completing the new castle, and promises an annual feast of honey porridge for all the castle's tenants if the work is done quickly and well.
Sweet Countess Berthe follows her promise and offers some more appetizing fare, too, putting on a huge feast for the castle's tenants every year. Countess Berthe's lifetime is the golden era of harmony between generous countess and hardworking tenants, and between human and supernatural residents of the castle, but of course that can't last. What follows is a fairy tale/ghost story about the perils of ignoring Countess Berthe's legacy.
The overall feeling in The Porridge of the Countess Berthe was so different from Dumas' other fiction, this really feels like a classic fairy tale from the 1920s My Book House collection (my childhood fave) that I just hadn't heard before. There are magical elements and classic fairy-tale character types, including some power-hungry villains with no concern for other people. Yeah, The Count of Monte Cristo has some pretty dark characters, too, but that atmosphere feels much more serious. The Porridge of Countess Berthe has that wonderful fairy-tale feeling that all the villains will be punished, and the good, kind characters will be rewarded.
I most enjoyed the haunting parts of this fairy tale, because they were eerie without being gross at all. The little cobolds and the ghostly visitors play tricks on those who would ignore Countess Berthe's promise. Just as the castle creatures were able to help the good count and countess, they're able to punish anyone who wants to rule without caring for the local people. Evildoers underestimate the ghostly sightings and teeny-tiny creatures at their peril.
Unfortunately, this old novel does have one of my un-favorite old-fashioned elements, in which a man is humiliated by wearing women's clothes and doing women's work. Everyone in the book is wearing clothes, so spinning is valuable work! Ugh! This is hardly the only vintage story that does this, but it's still annoying when something done by women is inherently weak and embarrassing.
But most of the book is vintage in beautiful and charming ways, like the scenes of old chivalry, where men are trapped by honor and custom into keeping their word, even if they would prefer to back out. A lot of the story hinges on the annual banquets, and I enjoyed those scenes a great deal.

في بداية الأمر اعتقدت أنها رواية قصيرة أو ما يسمى بالنوفيلا لكنني تفاجأت عند قراءتها أنها قصة موجهة للأطفال و الناشئين و قد ندمت على قراءتها بعض الشيء ، لكنني لا أنفي استمتاعي
