Rating: Ugh / 5

Reached the 50 page mark, and the same trouble abounds that was also present in Savage Obsession: the hero already has two wives.

I hate that.

HATE IT.

And any woman raised in a Western society likewise would hate that, thereby making this a useless book to read.

Kinda ruins your market, doesn't it?

Bad decision, author.

Next time, that kind of thing should REALLLLLY come with a warning.

And, suffice to say, this sucks and is therefore the lowest on my ranking list of this series:

My Personal Ranking of the Savage Book Series (so far):

1. Savage Passions (Book 4)
2. Savage Tears (Book 6)
3. Savage Wonder (Book 8)
4. Savage Fires (Book 12)
5. Savage Secrets (Book 3)
6. Savage Glory (Book 31)
7. Savage Spirit (Book 2)

What this says about what this book is about is wrong! It really screwed me up because I bought it online thinking that's what it was about and its the wrong description.
This is the real description.

Man Alicia was an uppity racist bitch. I don't get how they had Cloud Eagle so infatuated with her when she spat hateful shit at his tribe and Indians in general really. Edwards is tripping. I haven't read her in a while and I use to love her books so I thought while this was a free read let me check it out. I was horribly wrong. I can't stand racism.

Loved this book. However, I hated the character Lost Wind. What a nasty, rotten b*tch! If it wasn't for the fact she had a child, I'd have had her killed off. She doesn't deserve a happy ending, If only someone said to her, "Treat others the way you'd like to be treated". How I HATE her! I don't think ever really got over her jealousy or b*tchiness. She didn't deserve to be loved at all.

Such a riveting tale. I couldn’t put it down. I got so engrossed in the story that I actually felt like I was apart of the story. Cassie Edward’s has always been in my top 5 favourite authors. Her books never disappoint.

This was not one of her best. It's about a young girl who desgises herself as a boy. She works in a mail station. She gets shot, Clould Eagle finds her. At first he doesn't know she's a girl, but finds out soon. He is the cheif of the Apache tribe. The first time Cloud Eagle sees her is in a painting her brother Charlie painted. Cloud Eagle wanted to traid for it but Charlie would not part with it. Time goes on and they fall in love and get married. I didn't care for Cloud Eagle, I thought he was a little too wimpy. I would not read again.

My best friend got me hooked on Cassie Edwards two years ago. And while I've liked almost all of them. The main character Alicia really annoyed/frustrated me, and I didn't like the fact that the males in the Apache tribe took more than one wife. I read through and finished it because I looked past that, but because of the main character and the way she acted, and the mention of polygamy, I gave it 2 stars.

Couldn't finish this one. It was so lame! In the same paragraph the heroine tells herself that she reverently loves the hero and that she can't wait to get him arrested by the white soldiers because he must pay for what he's done! She constantly accuses him of evil deeds he's innocent of and instead of kicking her out of his teepee for good, he feels he must prove himself to her.
