3.5 stars!! It should have been higher ......

It could have been a 4 stars read but it has some editing problems unfortunately. However, I did enjoy the story so was able to overlook them to a degree.

I have never read anything by this author before and I got this book free from Smashwords. I was a bit unsure about it at first and it took me some time to get used to her writing style, but I'm glad I persevered and finished it.

I'm looking forward to reading book 2 as this one did end at a rather crucial/exciting part of the narrative - let's hope it's not too long a wait lol!! :)

Darknight is a fantasy romance about a faye world. A faye princess has run away and the chief warrior has been sent to find her leaving the kingdom less protected. I loved the plot twists and character perspectives in this story. I can't wait to read the sequeal.
