Fateful #3

Forever Book #3 in the Fateful Series)

Rate this book
Danielle and Ethan may have solved their problem with vampires, but other magical beings have taken interest in the ones who discovered the cure.

On the run trying to escape a gaggle of evil pixies, a clan of creepy werewolves, a coven or two of wicked witches, and a school of lovely but malicious mermaids, they fight to have a normal life. But that isn't so easy when the only aid they have is from slightly dishonest fairies and flirtatious vampire bodyguards.

This is Danielle and Ethan's happily forever after....

Note from the author: The Fateful Trilogy was Danielle and Ethan’s story, and Forever is the last book in their tale, but this is not the last book in the Fateful Series! I don’t like to clutter up my stories with too much info about side characters, especially when it doesn't carry along the plot for the two main characters. Even so, my side characters will get the chance to tell you their stories as well! Up next are Max and Nadia’s story, and a real cookbook brought to you by Sophia. There are several more books planned in the “Fateful” world, so please stay tuned....

It’s time to say goodbye to Ethan and Danielle with the third and final book of the Fateful series! Forever is the final book and you‘ll want to grab Fateful and Fractured first before reading this. Right from page one we are swept back to the story of Ethan and Danielle as humans struggling to survive with the protection of the vampires by their side. They are desperate for a normal life that doesn’t involved being stalked by werewolves, vampires, witches and pixies!

As Ethan and Danielle struggle to survive with all the paranormal creatures after them they meet some new and interesting creatures! We meet the mystical and alluring mermaids that try to lure them in to the ocean, the witches, the evil pixies and the scariest of all where the spiders! I am not a fan of spiders to begin with and the way Cheri describes the spider scenes made my skin crawl, very realistic and creepy!

My favorite thing about this series is its originality. There are lots of stories out there that have paranormal activity going on but nothing quite compares to the way Cheri Schmidt weaves these creatures together in an original one-of-a-kind tale. I also really enjoyed the main characters Ethan and Danielle. Never did the author add a love triangle to the situation, which was refreshing, but they still dealt with realistic struggles and ups and downs. They were very genuine and lovable.

I’m sad to see this series come to in an end but I am satisfied with how we say good bye to these lovable characters and I’m looking forward to more stories by this talented author.

Thank you to the author for providing me a free copy of this book in exchange for my personal and honest opinion and review. All opinions are my own.

Okay, here we go... I finally have a chance to read it. Eek, so excited to hear more from Ethan!!!

So, I did finish reading this book... And, I absolutely LOVED it... Ethan and Danielle still had their trials, but it was definitely worth it to get to their Forever. The ending was PERFECT!!! I don't think that it should have ended any other way...

I look forward to reading any other books that Cheri decides to write... I'm definitely a fan of her writing!!!

Would I recommend this book/series? YES!!!

I say, give it a try... It's definitely worth it...

I want to get my hands on a copy of this so bad but I have a Nook not a kindle ... The suspense is KILLING me. Hopefully, yet knowing Cheri she did, crafted a book that equals the amazingness of the second book, Fractured.

I reached the end of the trilogy as we are now running and escaping from different magical creatures. If the characters thought that evil vampires were bad, we have now moved on to Pixies, Witches and Werewolves. Each have a reason for wanting our lead character for themselves. All our main couple wants to do is lead a peaceful life with a family.

I did manage to finish the trilogy . .

This is the third and final book in the Fateful series by Cheri Schmidt. The first two books got 5 stars, so this series is a must read! Of course, only if you're into reading about vampires. This book is full of them. :)

Okay, let me just say something. I freaking LOVED the first two books in this series. They were beautifully written, had amazing characters, and had the best plots that any reader would desire. This last book had all of the same traits except maybe the last one. NO- I'm not saying that the plot was horrible and this book is not worth reading. This book was still freaking amazing, but I found while reading the book that I found the plot a little lacking compared to the first two.

Okay so let's go a bit deeper into the plot without any spoilers. For any other book the plot would have been great especially if the book was a stand alone, but for this one I expected a little bit more. I felt as if there wasn't one exact problem going on in the plot. There was the one big one and then a bunch of little one entwined in that. For some reason I didn't like that in this book. It just confused me a little. Otherwise the plot was great.

Okay! All negative stuff is out the window because there is nothing else I didn't like about this book. Can I just fangirl over the ending just for a minute?

description

description

When I read the ending I was literally smiling and hiding into my pillow. That ending was so cute!! Ethan you are honestly the best guy I have ever met. You are too kind!!!

Also, this book made me laugh. I swear Max should be my knight in shining armor. If anyone knows where I can get someone as amazing as Max tell me NOW!

I liked how we got meet more of the different creatures that were described in the first two books. I like to get views on how different people describe different mythical creatures. Everyone has a different picture in their mind and I got to see Cheri Schmidt's image of mythical creatures. I have to say as much as I despised their wardrobe choices (I'm not one that cares about clothes but seriously all black? It's my favorite color but it gets hot.),witches are bad-ass people. I happen to like them, they just need a new wardrobe...Wolves, I think this has to be the first time I don't want to marry one of them.

Guys, this series is amazing. Beyond amazing!

description

This is a must read! Now I'm really sad that this series is ending and I really need my dose of Ethan and Max-especially Max, but all series must end so new ones can crawl into our hearts. This series is being replaced by *drumroll please* MAX'S STORY!!!

Cheri is writing The Order of Curse-Bound Knights! I can not freaking wait. Here's Cheri note to her readers:

"Note from the author: This is NOT the last time you will see Danielle and Ethan though!!! Max and Nadia’s story overlaps theirs! To keep print costs down for those of you who prefer that, I have to break the story up into standard-sized novels. So if you want to see more of what happens to this couple as their “happily forever after” continues, stay tuned for The Order of Curse-Bound Knights which I am working on right now."

I'm going to go patiently (not) wait for it! Go read this book/series guys! Purchase links below just to make you guys read this!

The Fateful series by Cheri A Schmidt has a different and refreshing take on vampires. I like how the vampires are put together and describes. They are more human during the day and more of a bloodthirsty vampire by night.

Danielle is the main character and the one the books follow. This character is such a huge fan of Jane Austen that she herself is Jane Austen to a "T"! Danielle is a huge girly girl, but she took Karate since her parents made her to make her "stronger". She is a very complex character, but at the same time simple and easy to understand. One thing Danielle wanted when she moved to England was to meet her Mr. Darcy and she does...

Ethan (Danielle's Mr. Darcy) was a true gentleman despite the centuries he has lived through. His jealous and possessiveness come off as sweet and funny considering he can use a sword, and treat a girl like a lady. When these two met, it was like they both already knew they were in love.

I really enjoyed the fact this book had morals. Most books you read, the couple would sleep together after a little bit, but these two waited until marriage which is what both of them wanted. Ethan wanted this because of his centuries old age and Danielle wanted it because it meant something more to her. They took on present day issues along with paranormal ones. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to get into paranormal romances or is a Jane Austen fan. Of course anyone else would love this series as well.

This is the final book in Ethan and Danielle's romance, they've already been through so much in the first two books, it's hard to imagine all that they would have to go through. I mean Danielle and Ethan overcame the vampire curse, lost their baby, had to be turned into Vamps then returned back to humans, now they don't have vampire's after them, it's just everyone else. With an old time flair, Ethan and Danielle are attacked by Weres, pixies, enounter mermaids, witches, fairy's and insanely creepy spiders. I hate spiders, if I were in the position of being surround by hundreds of spiders, I would more than likely have had a panic attack and passed out, or just kept panicking because I would be too afraid to pass out, fearing spiders crawling on me (shivers).

The description tells you, so it's not really a spoiler, Danielle and Ethan go through A LOT to get their happy ending, and they do get one. The story was well done, there was a lot going on in this book and it seemed longer than the previous two, though I don't know if it was, but there was a lot of meat to it. The writing is wonderful, the world building was also well done, those body guards were very entertaining and I was happy with how things wound up. Fateful is still my favorite of the trilogy though. I do look forward to reading the stories that revolve around the other characters of the story (esp. Max/Nadia).

Finally, the third book in the Fateful series is here! The reader will follow the slightly chaotic and ever-changing lives of Danielle and Ethan once again. The characters have grown, they have matured. The reader will be happy to notice that their love for each other is as strong as ever. Although they have a problem to solve, they remain firmly and deeply in love.

The reader will meet a bunch of new characters that will likely fascinate him/her. The witches are uncommonly beautiful, the mermaids are captivating, etc... The author placed a good deal of detail into the making of these characters and her hard work shows. The heading of every chapter offers a teaser and will make this book very difficult to put down.

The plot itself is fast-paced. There really aren't too many, if any, slower scenes. The writer spins a fluid tale that will not leave the reader confused. This book ties up loose ends from the first two books in the series (don't miss them!). The reader won't be able to guess at the outcome of every scene, there are a few surprises to look forward to, particularly the ending. Forever is recommended to young adult/adult readers.

What a great end to a really fun series!! Ever since I started this series last year, I was hooked on the fun story and the two main characters, Danielle and Ethan, and I couldn't wait to see what would be in store for them in book three!!

One of my favorite parts about this book (and the series!) is the relationship that Danielle and Ethan have! Cheri Schmidt does a really great job showing how the two care about each other and how they are both willing to do anything for each other..which is very romantic :)

I also liked the plot of this book! It wasn't too slow or too fast which was nice..and I really liked how different mythological creatures were incorporated in the book. It wasn't just a book about vampires, but it also had fairies, pixies, werewolves, witches, and more!

Overall, I was really happy with the ending of this book..even though I'm sad to see the series end! If you are looking for a fun read (with British accents!!) look no further and check this series out!!

FANTASTIC FINALE!

Cheri has done it again. BRAVO! This book pulls you right into the story in the first few pages. Forever has action, enchantment, passion, and so much excitement I couldn’t put this story down. Between the mermaids, fairies, pixies, werewolves, witches, and more I can’t tell you what my favorite part was. I love that there is true unconditional love from both Ethan and Danielle in this story. I’m a true romantic and it was breathtaking. She ended the story of Ethan and Danielle wonderfully with the happily ever after ending that the reader was cheering for. The minute I finished this book I quickly started rereading this series. Thank you for creating such an amazing and original series. I can’t wait for her other books about the other characters in this series. She has developed such strong characters in these books you can’t help but love them and want to know their stories too.

This is the third and final book in the Fateful series. You will need to read Fateful and Fractured first. We are taken on an adventure to solve Danielle and Ethan's problem of being hunted. We get to meet some interesting characters along the way. I was enchanted with the mermaids. I was amazed at the beauty of the witches, my fist thought when I hear the word witch is not beauty. I think of an old and ugly woman. Ms. Schmidt has weaved a story that kept me captivated and made these creatures her own. I would love to get my hands on some magical juice. Forever is a spellbinding read! I have really loved this series and as always it is sad to say goodbye. But, the good news is Ms. Schmidt has many more stories in store for us.

OMG by far the best of the Fateful series! It has a little bit for everyone, vampires, werewolves, witches, pixies, faires, mermaides, and awful spiders! All I have to say is poor Danielle, how much can one person endure and still come out like that! she is my new hero! You definatly get to see a more vunerable side to Ethan If you havent read the others in the series you definatly have to read them first. Forever was well worth the wait! and out of everything that has happend to them, you will cry with joy and relief when its all over (not to mention sad that the story is over)
and if your aracnaphobic like me, you will definatly have nightmears. :) Its definatly a book I can see myself rereading a thousand times! *the whole series is*

There is nothing i love more than a happy ending and Forever has such a blissfully sweet ending that it satisfied my need for a desirable ending. I loved this book. Beautifully written and a beautiful story. The adventure and romance in these books are outstanding and i just can't get enough of it. I can't wait until i read Cheri's novellas that are paired with this series. I imagine they will be just as delightful as all of her novels, especially this one. It's hard to write a review without giving anything away, but i think everyone will enjoy reading about the fantastic circumstances Danielle and Ethan go through in this book, and be happy with the way everything ends up. So, go! pick up a copy of this book somewhere, read it, and love it as much as i do :)

I loved Forever it was a wonderful end to the fateful series. I am very sad to see it end. I think I have become too attached to the characters and hated to see their pain and sadness in this story, but was very relieved and excited to see them live their happily ever after. This series is WAY better then the Twilight series and I am so sad it's over. Hope to see more from Cheri Schmidt in the future. I highly recommend this book and series. If you read Fateful and you thought it was too much like Twilight keep reading I bet you will like this series in the end. If your looking for a awesome clean romance this is the book to read. I love it.

I’m giving up on this book. I loved the first 2 books on this series, but this one just keep on dragging and dragging. The plot never stop focusing on insecurities, and to have the heroine worry sick about her own shadow and her man (Darcy like) believing he is not man enough to keep her and make her happy it’s just too much.

After this I’m reading Pride and Prejudice again, just to regain the perfect image of Darcy.

I’m a fast reader and for me to have a week trying to read the same book without really enjoying the plot, it’s too much.

Maybe another time, if I don’t have anything to read or re-read, I’ll revisit this book, mainly because I hate to leave series unfinished.

Wow. What an amazing way to end the series. Sometimes authors have trouble tying up all the loose ends in a story but Cheri didnt. This book is completely amazing and perfect. Without giving anything away, this story has an ending i didnt see coming along with twists around every corner. I could not put this book down. I hope everyone enjoys it as much as i did.

Loved this series!!! One of the best parts for me was the importance it placed on families. While all the magical creatures were powerful and often fun, what they had didn't compare to the rich opportunity to have a family!!!
