Big news--the network picked up One Way or Another. Big rumors--the set is full of the tension between its two leading men. Isaac is determined to keep his mind on the job, but Ethan keeps tempting him to bad behavior in quiet corners and secluded places around the soundstage. For a guy who wants to stay in the closet, Ethan takes too many risks, and Isaac's getting nervous.

Worse, it's not just about the sex anymore. What was supposed to be a quick impulsive fling is threatening to turn into more--Isaac can see it (and feel it) every time he looks Ethan in the eye. When Ethan wants to take a big step, is Isaac ready?

About the Series:

Meet Ethan Kovac and Isaac Duncan, co-stars of the new sitcom, One Way or Another. Ethan's ditching a career full of terrible tween movies, while Isaac needs to cash in some of his 'serious actor' cred for, well, cash. Ethan's gay and closeted and not happy about it. Isaac has enough issues as a black man in Hollywood without dealing with rumors about his sexuality too.

Neither of them counted on the red hot chemistry that has them fighting to keep their hands off each other.

When the gossip mags suggest that their epic off-screen bromance is just a front for a sizzling affair, the two men have to play the Hollywood game, and find the line between keeping things private and denying who they are to one another.

UPFRONT, PILOT, HIATUS, SWEEPS, and FINALE: five hot, sweet stories of three actors, two second chances, and one romance that'll shock an entire television viewing audience, coming this summer only on Amazon by author Jade Cain.

Jade Cain writes what turns her on: hot men in uniform, confident women who know what they need, the heady feeling of lust when you realize you're about to get everything you ever wanted. She writes (and reads) about lovers of all genders who laugh together--and sometimes at each other. Sex is fun, and often silly, and her works celebrate that humor alongside the heat.

The One Way or Another series turns up the heat!
It's real, and real is something that's always in short supply.
Book two picks up about a month after Ethan and Isaac have their epic hookup in the men's bathroom of the Hard Rock...

There's a lot of publicity being done and Ethan and Isaac are doing interviews constantly. Ethan keeps getting asked what it's like to play a gay man and it's getting harder and harder for him to pretend.

They're trying to find balance.

Book two packed twice the sexual heat of book one. The Isaac and Ethan have had a month to explore and become acquainted with each other. They know exactly how to turn each other (and the reader) on.

Isaac Duncan
...never dated a co-star before, much less a male one. He's not exactly up on the etiquette of not outing someone you're fucking nearly every night. And he definitely isn't sure how to act now that he's in the closet too.
Isaac can't stop thinking about his gorgeous co-star... To the point that he really hadn't considered the consequences of their relationship. He's been enjoying their private time together, but now filming is underway and the awkwardness is building.

They're trying to hide from everyone...
But when you're in the Hollywood spotlight, there's no place to hide.

Ethan Kovac
"You know, I took this fucking job because the scripts had a decent gay character. But Mr. Sitcom out there has me playing him like I'm Liberace's kid brother."
Ethan is losing his excitement about his role on One Way or Another. The director keeps telling him to play his character like a homosexual stereotype, the publicity interviews are constant, and trying to pretend that he's not daydreaming about his co-star while running lines is becoming difficult.

He's thinking about coming out... He's tired of hiding who he is, but he also doesn't love the idea of potentially ruining his career. He also knows that he'll be asked if he's seeing anyone. The press would discover his relationship with Isaac, who is waaaaaay not ready to come out.

Secretly dating your co-star while the tabloids keep track of your every move...
I have a feeling something is building.

We'll just have to keep reading to find out.

I'm still loving this series and I've gotten used to the Narrative structure. I'm glad I'm reading all the books back-to-back; each book becomes more like a chapter which flows into the next.

***I read this book as part of the One Way or Another Omnibus which was provided to me by the Author in exchange for an honest review***
