Hannah and her sister, Megan, have been given the trip of a lifetime. They are cruising the Mediterranean Sea. Starting at Rome, they are working their way counter-clockwise through Florence, Monte Carlo, Barcelona, Sardinia, Sicily, and Pompeii. Life is their playground.

And then Hannah meets Brandon.

Brandon is strong, intelligent, loyal, and everything Hannah could possibly dream of in a man. He has also just walked in on his fiancée in bed with his best friend. Hannah is willing to wait as long as it takes for him to work his way through this betrayal.

And then all Hell breaks loose ...

Love's Heat is the first novella in the Italian Nights series. Due to the strong sexual content and adult situations, this book is recommended for readers aged 17+. The first three novellas have cliff-hanger endings, which lead to the final novella with a happily-ever-after.

I come from a family which adores Italy. My parents strive to go every year, and I’ve been several times there myself. I took this very cruise through the Mediterranean Sea and wrote my notes while I traveled. The sights, sounds, aromas, and atmosphere of this exotic region is just as I personally experienced them.

If you haven’t been to Italy, Monaco, Spain, or France, I highly recommend it. Even if you have to save a little each year to make it a trip of a lifetime, it is well worth it. These locations are the cradle of civilization. The art, food, and culture they created resonate throughout time.

Ophelia Sikes fervently believes that every one of us deserves dedicated, passionate love in our lives – coupled with a soul-deep respect which supports our dreams.

Ophelia adores Worcester, Massachusetts with all its gritty streets, rows of muted-colored three-deckers, and tough-as-nails can-do attitude. She’s lived in this area since college, with only a few brief flings in other locations. No matter where else she travels, she’s always delighted to return home. From the row of restaurants on Shrewsbury Street to picnicking at Elm Park, from the summertime boaters on Lake Quinsigamond to the St. Patty’s Day Parade, there’s just something about Worcester. She hopes she’s brought this lively, unique town to life for her readers around the world.

I received a copy of this short story in exchange for a honest review. I have read several story from this author and I really enjoy the writing style. This story is about a new love that forms out of prior heart break and emerging criminal activity. Killer cliff hanger at the end.

I started reading this when I was drawn into the Italian vacation setting. However, I was frustrated and angry to find this is not just one book but multiple books. And, not just a trilogy but five or six books. And Amazon charges for each one. I'm tiring of authors doing this. Write the whole book and release it as one!

I only give this a 4 star because the dude on the cover page is fugly. Not who I imagine to be brandon. Other than that cute little story. Finally a book where the girl tries to bang the guy not the needy little girl like in other stories. I want to buy the second part but nahhh.

Cliffhanger!

Just when it was getting interesting! They have a mystery, a growing love affair, a family vacation, a great cruise, and then there is a major problem and the the book stops!

Need more!

Good Read!

I enjoyed reading the first book in this series. Especially since I myself am married to a Coastie. Can't wait to read book 2.

Love the stories - hate that I have to keep buying the next hundred pages to finish the story. I'd rather just pay for the whole book.

Love's HeaT

I wasn't to thrilled with how this ended just giving me as taste of future books. It didn't excite me as much as others I've read.
