In this biography," Corazon Aquino" by Lucy Komisar , I learned more about the hardships Cory goes through after her husband Ninoy Aquino's death. She shows courage and determination towards running for president. Her time of leadership was during the time when the Philippines was fighting for their independence. She strongly lead the country and was a strong independent women. Cory's legacy is still thriving in the Philippines today. Many are inspired by her work and she is greatly worshipped in her home land.
