★★★★. 5!!

Opening Lines
“Blurred. Black, and grey, maybe some white, but mostly black. There's a lot of black. My converse blur below me set amidst of a pile of bottles on the dry dirt. I should have never come here. I‘m not blind to the power of this place. I didn’t flee here to find any peace in my hell. I came here to add to the flames. I didn’t care much for improving my mood. How could I?”

I still remember when I first laid eyes on Truth in Wildflowers cover, I couldn't stop staring at it. There's something so peaceful and beautiful about the set up. It makes me want a lot of things but mainly, it makes me want summer!

Now this book was just fantastic! Absolutely beautiful!!! I didn't really know what to expect when I started reading Truth in Wildflowers but I was not expect this book would make me laugh, swoon (I swooned hard!), cry, and laugh some more! I don't want to give away the story but basically Kensie hasn't lived an easy life, it's hard for her to trust men which leads to her not letting people in, and keeping her heart guarded. And she sure isn't expecting August to come into her life and break down all the walls she's keeping up. I really loved the dynamic relationship between Kensie and August, it was just...I can't find words for it!! Not only did I love their relationship but I also loved how everything played out, the secondary characters that really added to the story and added to the amount of times I laughed, the writing style, and how everything came together in the end.

Overall, Truth in Wildflower is a beautiful, heartwarming read!! Kimberly Rose has blown me away with her writing style and has left me wanting more! I can't believe this is her debut book, I'm so excited to read more from her. I hope I won't have to wait too long for book 2!!

There are so many things I loved about this book! Strong, relatable heroine? Definitely. Sexy hero with a kick ass name (I’m crushing over the name August!)? Oh, yeah. Quick witted banter that I absolutely love? Absolutely!

"You keep your hands on your gun, cowboy. She can please herself just fine on her own." My face heated. I should have never told her about my rabbit.
"For the record," he shouted back at us, "I can do better than fine.”

The chemistry between August and Kensie was off the charts for me. This sweet couple gave me all the feels.

I smiled up at him and thought I more than liked him. I’m not sure what people call the middle ground between like and love. Hope maybe? I’m in hope with August.”

The secondary characters were an added bonus. They made me laugh out loud and I can’t wait to hear more from them. This was a fabulous book that left me with a huge smile on my face.

The writing style was absolutely beautiful. Kimberly Rose drew me into the story and I could not put it down. Truth in Wildflowers is a must read in my opinion. The story is as gorgeous as the cover!

"I want wind."
August smiled down at me and I saw the stars reflect in his beautiful wise eyes. “I’ll be your wind.”

A brilliant beautiful debut novel from Kimberly Rose. This this the first book in the Truth series.

The story is about Kensie and August. Kensie has trust issues with men due to an estranged relationship with her dad and a bad past relationship. Kensie keeps her walls up when she meets August but very slowly he starts breaking them down and the pair grow closer, however August is also recovering from something that has happened in his past. Will this secret make Kensie want to run from August or will she learn to trust him?

I love Kensie’s and August’s relationship, they just clicked. They had great chemistry and I loved how patient August was in the beginning despite everything that he was also dealing it. I really like the secondary characters and I really hope that some of them get their own story. I love Wes, August’s best friend to get his own story. (Maybe we will get more of Kensie and August then!!!). The story is beautifully written, it flow’s really well and there are lots of bumps in Kensie’s and August relationship. The story made me laugh and cry at times.

Overall a beautifully, heart-warming sweet story and I will be looking out for future books by author Kimberly Rose.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review and I couldn’t have been more pleased with this debut novel from Kimberly Rose.

“TRUTH” is something that far to many people skirt around………….

What if you came face to face with your truth when you had given up hope on ever finding it? Then what if your truth was closer than you had ever thought possible? Would you be willing to risk it all to finally feel the freedom that comes from finding your truth?

Kensie is an amazing female character that has faced a childhood that left her wondering what she did wrong. When she needed the support of her father the most, it was nowhere to be found and left her with huge trust issues. When she thought she found love, her boyfriend left her doubting her worth. When she found escape in meaningless encounters, she was left feeling like an empty shell. Somewhere along this road it became clear that she needed to remove all of these extremes and focus on herself. This since action caused a chain reaction that left her floating through life versus actually living it. The part that she never expected was to find her “TRUTH” in a mate that for unknown reasons to her had been forced to live the same shell of a existence.

We met August on a day that signified a huge change in his life and what better way to change than to met his “TRUTH”. Kensie is looking to throw fire to the wind and get a tattoo that will cause a reaction out of her father. Both characters are floored by their intense connection, but so afraid to do anything more than just daydream.

My August [chocolate brown eyes] and all…………….

TRUTH has a funny way of bringing things to the surface and these two characters find out they can’t escape one another without giving things a chance.

They both have so many reasons to run from one another, but they also have this undeniable connection that you feel from the moment she hears his voice. I would say it was all over the minute she looked into his eyes!! The package didn’t end on the outside and the things that he said left me speechless. It was as if they both became their destiny when the found their missing piece in each other.

I will not say their journey was without bumps along the way, but what was really amazing was how well they both rose to the occasion facing their own fear for the benefit of the other.

Favorite Quotes:

“It’s only going to be me, right?” “It’s only ever been you. I just didn’t know until I met you.”

“There was a beautiful dandelion swaying in the breeze on a lonely hill. One day, the wind came to the dandelion and told her he was going to carry her away from her lonely hill. The dandelion was scared at first, but the wind told her that he would take care of her and that she could trust him, that he would show her things she never thought possible.”

“When I met you, I felt alone and all out of hope, but you made me want to live again. You came and moved me in a new direction toward a life I’ve always wanted, but never thought I deserved.”

Four very solid stars!

This book had me from the very first lines. I was pulled in and couldn't put it down. It evoked so many feelings from me just from the first chapter without even knowing what had ultimately happened. I was immediately connected to the characters and had to know what direction the story was going to take. This novel had everything that I love in reading, excellent writing, realistic characters, who while flawed, had redeeming qualities and were relate able and a plot that I could get behind that was unique and kept me intrigued.

Kensie is a young woman who unfortunately feels inadequate and has very strong feelings of abandonment. She has been left behind my her own father and her old boyfriend, because of this she has put a wall around her heart in order to avoid people from getting too close and leaving her in the future. Despite all this, Kensie's character is strong, independent and through the course of the story she is able to find it in her heart to love and to accept that she is enough, even when dealing with a difficult and heart breaking situation.

August is a damaged man dealing with a great loss and feelings of guilt. For the last few years he hasn't been living, only existing. Kensie is the one who helps him realize that he doesn't want to live this way, that he wants to not just merely exist, but love and thrive. August wasn't perfect, but through his relationship with Kensie, he learns to let go of the past and accept things that he previously couldn't. He was loyal, caring and a very big heart. He was also super romantic.

All of the supporting characters in this story were brilliant. From Kensie's best friends Lennon and Capri, to August's best friend Wes. They provided the best support system, comic relief and were each strong in their own ways. I would love to see more of these characters, especially Wes. I also loved watching the interactions between Kensie and August and the teens at their youth group. Kensie and August were able to reach out to the youth and teach them the lessons that they themselves have learned through their lives.

This book has many messages and metaphors, as I was reading I was seriously thinking about the stories, the meanings and the feelings and how they related to me. I, as a reader, personally grew with the characters. There were many moments that I had to stop, ponder, and then resume where I was just to make sure that I was fully absorbing what the author was trying to say. This book starts off as one about the feelings of guilt, grief, inadequacy and it ends with being a book about hope, love and acceptance.

Oh, and the last chapter was honestly one of the sweetest chapters I have ever read. I will read this again simply just so I can read that last chapter over. All in all, this was a great, symbolic read. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves a good romance with a great message!

Truth In Wildflowers by Kimberly Rose is a story filled with so much emotion, the reader is dragged into the story from the very first words on the page and is held captive there until the very last page is turned. This book was a 4 star read for me and i would highly recommend it to others, although I do suggest that you have a tissue handy when reading because you may need it.

"That's a beautiful story. The wind showed her what it was to live a life full of love. I paused a moment. I want wind. August Smiled down at me and I saw the stars reflected in his beautiful wise eyes. I'll be your wind."

August had been living his life, without really living. He was going through the motions but he was almost absent from them; holding onto the guilt of his past, a past that he couldn't have controlled no matter how much he wanted to. Only his close friends and family knew of the tremendous loss that he felt and the guilt that went along with it; how he allowed himself to be held captive by it believing that he didn't have a right to the happiness that he felt when he was with Kensie.

Kensie had sworn off guys for the last three years and she had avoided dating; no guy ever grabbing her attention the way that August had that day in the tattoo parlor. With her best friends Lennon and Capri by her side; she was having fun in college; hanging with the girls never realizing that something was missing; that is until August walked back into her life one night at the local bar. After discovering that August was Capri's brother, all bets were off between the two as their attraction for each other only grew.

Working together at the local youth center where Kensie was teaching a dance class and August ran the sports program, their relationship began to blossom but not without its moments of uncertainty. August was often absent or running off to take care of family business and he had a relationship with his ex Bree that Kensie did not seem to understand. The reader can feel that there is something monumental that August is keeping from Kensie, something that could possible destroy the relationship that they are building and you wait with baited breath to turn the page and discover what that secret could possibly be.

Truth In Wildflowers continues to bend and weave around Kensie, August, Bree and Capri, all of them knowing the tragic truth that August is hiding but Kensie. There are time when Capri is talking to her brother, urging him to come clean with Kensie that I wanted to yell at my kindle and tell him to man up already before he lost her forever. And my heart broke for her when it was Bree who revealed it, in the most unflattering of ways.

I am keeping my review vague on purpose for I believe that the true heart of the story is in discovering everything while reading and shouldn't be through a review but make no mistake that I absolutely love this book! Make sure that you go one-click this book right away, I promise that you will not be disappointed!

When i read that this is Kimberly's debut book i just couldn't believe?!! Seriously??
If she wrote her first book like this i can't imagine what will 4,5,60 look like.
I hope you realize, but you set a very high bar with this one!
I'm a huge fan of angst (good kind of angst) so it's natural that i was captivated with this book when i read a first few sentences.

description

It stupid to retail a book, i've never done it and don't intend to do it now.
For that you have to read it, not just this , but every book.
However, let me introduce you with main characters a bit.
We have our heroine; Kensie is very closed person, due some thing in her past
and she has a hard time trusting people. She has a fear about letting people in, trusting them
with her heart and mind and then having an opportunity to be left behind, once again.
Now you have an image of weak, broken girl, right? well just the opposite, she's nothing but strong individual, the one that confirms that people beaten down by life and heartless people are the strongest one.

August is your new book boyfriend! handsome (love chocolate eyes) devoted, loyal.
The guy who has been through so much but yet hadn't gone on dark side :)

What do you think, can two broken souls sculpture perfect future or will they shatter
beyond repair? the only way to find out is to read this beautiful story, filled with love, trust, facing and
overcoming greatest fears and so many real life situations that probably happened to many of us.
Who knows maybe here you find a solution for one of your biggest problems.

Highly recommended 5 stars!!

4.5 Stars!

I am a pretty big fan of the NA genre, so this story was easily something I was interested in reading. Kensie is such a beautiful character because she is flawed. She is not that typical young adult or even new adult character that is so hard to believe in because they are kind of perfect but see themselves as not perfect. For instance, the character that has a hard life, but always keeps it together, is a virgin, is the best friend anyone could ask for, loves animals, volunteers, gives away her last dime, even though she is poor, makes perfect grades, etc. We have all read about that character, right? Well, praise the lord, Kensie is not like that. Don't get me wrong - she's not the opposite of all of those things, but she has definitely made bad choices, she has a difficult time letting anyone in, she is not a virgin, although she is celibate when she meets August, and the rest - well, she just seems to freely admit where she has made mistakes or not. I really loved that. She also freely admits that she does not know what she wants to do out of life - she feels that she is just floating along on the breeze.

Then, enter August. Wow, August just seemed like a really great guy. Again, he was flawed, and he seemed to have embraced that he did not have the best past, either, but he also wasn't trying to come across as the "bad boy". He has a past, but he is slowly trying to build towards a strong future, and he kind of knows how he wants to get there. These two meet, randomly, when Kensie and af riend are in a tattoo shop. Kensie notices August as he is getting his tattoo, and she is instantly attracted to him, which surprises her, as she has not been open to an attraction to a guy in several years. He, likewise, is attracted to her, and they later run into one another again and find out they have a mutual connection - August's sister.

Kensie and August's relationship builds in a very realistic manner, which I appreciated. She has a lot of mistrust in men because of her relationship with her father, as well as a past boyfriend. Not to mention, after a bad breakup with the ex-boyfriend, she threw herself into a lot of meaningless sexual situations, and she was further hurt because of this. August has a long road to travel to help Kensie through some of this hurt. She has to learn that some men can be trusted, even when you have never really seen that. So, in that manner, I appreciated that Kensie did not just immediately fall in love with August. She was definitely interested, but she observed how he was with his friends, at his job, and with his sister.

August also has a past, though, and his past includes a major heartache. When I finally figured out what had happened, I cried, because my heart just went out to him. August was not completely honest with Kensie, however, which he should have been, so they do have to go through some rough waters, as they slowly get more and more honest with one another. I loved how the author weaved in the them of the game "Truth or Dare" into this, however, as the truths and the dares would show how much August and Kensie were getting to know one another or starting to trust one another. It was a very sweet addition to the story.

I really hope to see more of Wes and Capri in the next book, but I would also love to read more about August and Kensie - especially how Kensie continues to move along in her relationship, or lack of, with her father. That was heartbreaking to read. I have a young daughter, and one of my favorite things is to watch my husband interact with her, and to read about Kensie's father's...just...disregard of her, was so slowly heartbreaking. It was so well written that I really felt her heart breaking with that. It's not just an extra detail in the story that makes Kensie flawed - it really is part of her story that you get to live with her. It makes the process of her trusting August seem more realistic and wonderful to see. I think we will see more great things from this author!

Truth in Wildflowers by Kimberly Rose

5 beautifully written stars

What a phenomenal read! The writing, the prose, the plot. All of it. Just absolutely wonderful. This book has a serious YA undertone to it but there's also comical relief to it. I am so honored that Autumn at WordSmith Publicity gave me a chance to read it.

Kenzie has had a hard time. She lost her v-card at 15 to her boyfriend of six months only to have him break up with her two weeks later. She was confused by his behavior and took it so personally like a normal 15 year old would do. So with that heart ache and the fact that her daddy left her behind for a ready made family she just went wild. Drinking, partying, and having a lot of sex. Til one night she couldn't remember....since then there's been no one else. She's hidden herself and her heart from the world. If the world can't see her, she can't get hurt.

August, my sweet and sexy August. He's been through hell. After a tragic and life altering accident he didn't know how to live. He suffered such guilt, pain, and hurt. He can't seem to leave the past or the pain behind. Until he meets Kensie.

Neither one of them knows what's in store for them after their first electrifying encounter. The chemistry and the attraction is off the charts. The only thing that each of them knows is that they had never felt more alive than when they were around each other. After another chance encounter where Kensie finds out August is one her best friends, Capri's, brother they are constantly in each other's circle.

As much time as they spend together, working at the same youth center and hanging out neither of them comes clean about their pasts right away. Neither knows why the other feels like a dandelion alone on a hill. Eventually those truths come to light and those truths can either be the sunlight and rain it needs to bloom into a beautiful wildflower or they can be the drought that kills it.

Kensie is a tough young lady who has overcome herself but can she overcome the pain that made her that way? And beautiful August, is he able to let go of the guilt and pain that's made him lifeless, just a shell of the man he could become? This is a very beautiful and sweet story of overcoming the ugly fields of doubt and pain and turning them into beautiful fields of hopes and dreams. Like any garden it takes hard work, perseverance, love, time, and patience to see the end results. I think you'll love the end results.

I love each of the characters of this book, from Kensie and August to Lennon, the crazy bff to Capri, the other bff and Augusts sister, to Wes, Augusts hilarious and hot tattoo artist best friend. I hope beyond hope Wes gets his own book! He's the typical funny guy who deserves a real chance at love.

Truth In Wildflowers was a fantastic story. This story will show you how two people that deal with there own grief and sadness can bring each other back from the shadows and show each other that true love does exist. I would give this book a 4 star. This is the first time I have read anything by Kimberly Rose but I will be following her in her journey well into the future. The passion between August and Kensie will melt your hearts and panties. So get ready Divas for a fun filled passionate ride with this amazing story!

Kensie is your everyday college student, but she has a past that she isn't proud of. She also has a father that left and chose to be with another family and that eats away at her heart. She vowed to never fall in love again because she loved once and it nearly destroyed her. One day that will all change when she walks into a tattoo parlor and meets the sexy as sin August.

August has been living life in the shadows, he has been through great tragedy and has never pulled himself back from the depths of despair. He can't find it in himself to truly love another person because his heart is to disturb by his own grief and loss... but one day his life will be turned upside down when a beautiful girl Kensie walks into his life.

"Oh Kensie, you're anything but a bystander." He reached his arm around my shoulders and squeezed me to him. "You are the wildflowers."

Through more chance meetings they realize that August is one of Kensie's best friends brother. While there relationship starts out and steams up.. there pasts with catch up with them and it may possibly destroy what they were working so hard towards. Can these 2 work out there own demons from there past and find there HEA??

You need to take a chance with this book I guarantee you won't be disappointed at all! Oh and lets not forget the side characters... Wes..Lennon..Capri... I want them all to have there own stories because you will fall in love with them too! Lets not forget how much you will want some gummy bears when your done with this story!! Thanks for a great story and I look forward to so much more!

I received this book in exchange for a honest review.

‘Truth in Wildflowers’ is the first book in the series ‘Truth’ and the first book that I read from this writer. ‘Truth in wildflowers’ is a very sweet new adult story that I really enjoyed reading! I’m only sorry that there were some typos in the text.

Kensie is a young woman, a college student, who’s drifting through life. She’s still looking for a purpose in life. Not knowing where to go or what to do.
Her parents are divorced and from that moment the father who once spend all his time with her, now spend all his time (and attention) with his new family. This left her with a pain in her heart and a longing for something. And then there’s her past, a past where she’s ashamed of. A past that made her lose her confidence in herself.
Then one day she decides to get a tattoo and it’s in the tattoo shop that she meets August and his best friend Wes. There’s a direct attraction between August and her. They can’t stop looking at each other. The second time they meet, Kensie discovers that August is the brother from her good friend Capri. A brother that she heard about but hadn’t met until now. And so starts a journey where they get to know each other, learn about each other secrets, each other past and each other heart. Because Kensie is not the only one with a difficult past! But they’re not alone on this journey, they have their best friends to help them and support them. And Kensie will need their support on this route that she’s taking.

The thing I love in this story is the love that August has for Kensie and the fact that they really took the time to get to know each other. I liked the ‘Truth and dare’ game that was writing in this story and of course, you have their friends! They were so great friends. Like I said before, I really like the story and I will be reading the next story in this series. That story is about Wes and Capri (August best friend and sister). I’m looking forward to reading their story.

Truth in Wildflowers is book one in a series. In this book you get the story of August and Kensie. This is a standalone in the series so their story is complete and you don't have to worry about any cliffhangers.

This book is absolutely incredible, especially for a debut book. It was an exceptionally easy read. The characters just make you love them and the storyline is very enjoyable. This is a book about life and learning how to trust again.

In this book we learn that Kensie has issues with trust. She has dealt with some issues in the past and just doesn't want the complications or heartache that being with a man brings. That all gets very very hard once she meets August. The pull to be around him is so strong she can't stay away, even if she tries her hardest she's still on August's radar.

August is just the best. He is incredible. I found myself smiling in most every scene with him in it. He is loving and caring and HOT! Oh boy is he hot but he himself has suffered a great loss and withholds the truth from Kensie.

Can August open himself up to Kensie and tell her his most darkest secrets? Can Kensie accept him for who he is and learn to trust him fully? Those are the million dollar questions.

This is just one of those books that pulls you in. The cover is exceptional and the words pull you in immediately. I found myself smiling and laughing and even shed a few tears. It's not overly angsty and it's not insta-love, it's definitely insta- lust. The character build up was crazy good and well thought out and the meaning of TRUTH in this book behind the metaphors I just absolutely loved. My truth is that Kimberly knocked it right out of the park with her debut novel so go check it out!

Truth in Wildflowers is a raw and gritting novel about two individuals who have been through some rough times and through each other, they start to heal.

I’ve read quite a number of new adult contemporary this year so a book has to really stand out to make me appreciate it more. There are a few similarities in terms of plot but the development was really well done. There was quite a bit of building up to this big secret that August was hiding which I did not see coming. Although I can be a little late in catching onto things. Nonetheless, the storyline was really great. The story flowed really well with the writing. My only complain was the difficulty I had in getting into the story at the beginning. The attraction between the two happened fairly quick for me. I needed a little time to get used to it.

As I always state in most of my reviews, I think characters and their relationships play a very important role in books. I appreciated that the author has created characters with depth and traits that make them who they are. I liked the focus on friendship, family and love that Kensie had to deal with. The story wasn’t only focused on the romance. There were other important factors building the story and I think it all worked out really well.

Overall, it was an interesting read with a rather strong foundation. It wasn’t the most original piece of plot but the way the story was crafted made it stand out and unique. I think it’ll be a good book to read for fans of the new adult genre.

This is Kensie's journey of learning to trust and August's journey of learning to let go of his guilt and move forward. This is a well written, smooth flowing debut novel for Kimberly. We were able to see into who Kensie and August are and what makes them who they are from their friendships and their relationships (or lack thereof) with their family. Their friends are their glue, their rocks that keep them held together and grounded in times they feel like drifting. The beautiful metaphors of truth spoke to me through their power. I felt such rage towards Kensie's Dad, and Kensie found her way to accept her circumstances and keep moving forward, which takes strength. I was shocked and felt deep sorrow when hearing August's traumatic past. I felt the connection between Kensie and August, but the length of time they knew each other seemed longer (due to the length of the novel) than the actual time that had spanned throughout their story. There were areas that could've been shortened (relationship build-up and August leaving at odd times) to add for more depth in areas such as sharing their pasts and how they plan to move forward together with their family and friends, and also as a couple. What will stick with me? August being her wind and knowing her wind will take her wherever she wants to go. Give this a try and find your next book crush!

Kensie, is a floater, at least that is how she would explain herself to others. But the one thing that keeps her sane is dance. It's the one thing that is able to ground her when things get to be too much. She can dance and not have a worry in the world. In her search to figure out who she is, she meets August. A man with a history that has scarred him and turns him away from love. Will these two be able to move forward from their pasts?

I enjoyed reading Truth in Wildflowers. In writing my review, I find myself using the backspace button pretty often, and it's a good thing, I just want to burst and give you all the details, but it wouldn't be nice of me now would it? You must pick it up and read! I was captivated by the chemistry of Kensie and August. It was set at a great pace. Characters were great, I especially loved Lennon. She was just so funny with her quirkiness and straight shooter attitude. And her friendship with Kensie made me envious. Romance gets introduced to August and Kensie in the game of truth or dare and it blossoms. The setting for the book is set around college life, football games, dance clubs, and the workplace. This was my first book by Kimberly and will not be my last. She did an excellent job. 4 smooches for Truth in Wildflowers by Kimberly Rose.

Kensie has changed her life, but at the same time closed herself off to love. Between her past and her father's neglect, she has trouble trusting men and opening her heart. All that changes when she meets August. Their paths cross at his friend's tattoo parlor and they can't stop thinking about each other. They meet again at a bar out with their friends. After spending more time together and doing a bit of text chatting, they tear down some of the walls surrounding their hearts. The only thing that could tear them apart is a secret that August has been holding back.

I can't even tell you how much I loved this sweet and sexy love story. Kensie and August are just lovely together and I so enjoyed their story. I laughed and cried and swooned. One of my favorite moments was Thanksgiving. That was definitely a swoon worthy moment. I also loved their circle of friends. They made made me laugh...especially Wes. I can't wait to read Wes' story.

I give Truth in Wildflowers 5 hearts!

I very much enjoyed reading this book. The sense of humour in it was great. I laughed, I also cried and then I sighed! Truly!!!
Kensie and her friends Lennon and Capri were so great to each other. How friends should be.
August….I don’t know what to say about him really. What a caring, genuine, romantic man. With a past that would knock anyone socks off ….since meeting Kensie, he laughs again, he lives life again.
Same goes for Kensie since meeting August, HE makes her smile and laugh again. I swear I just wanted to hug them both at times. I also wanted to knock them about too, especially when they go off and not want to know the truth about things. Ugh….
This book should be on your TBR list. It’s a love story that will warm your heart. Especially the ending. OMG…Swoon and sigh big time. I look forward to reading more from the author Kimberly Rose.

This book was such a beautiful, well-written love story.

Kensie and August are two broken people who find the lost pieces in each other. August was able to break down Kensie's walls, and even though they both had heartbreaking back stories, their love gave each other hope.

I fell hard for August. You knew something bad happened to him, but he was never afraid to love Kensie. He had wisdom beyond his years that only could be acquired by suffering.

"There’s an undeniable truth in wildflowers, a promise that when it appears nothing can survive, something beautiful spontaneously blooms."

I highlighted so many beautiful quotes and dialogue, this is a story that will stay with me for a long time.

I can't wait for more from Kimberly Rose!

There are no words! Such a great book! I love Kensie and August!

This is such a wonderful story. It's not like so many stories where the main characters do ridiculous things and make crazy choices. This story feels so real and so true. They deal with life and become stronger. I laughed and cried and fell in love.

Kimberly Rose you have written such a wonderful story, it's a breath of fresh air! I look forward to reading more from you. This book is wonderfully written and flows so well. It was my pleasure to read this book for you. I read a book or two every week and I just want to say that reading "Truth In Wildflowers" was refreshing!

I received this book in exchange for an honest review.
This was a really good read. It was fast and easy and had some really good characters. The drama all around was emotionally breath taking. The relationship with her father was heartbreaking and the bonds she shared with her friends was uplifting. Every character introduced played an important role in this story and I enjoyed all of them. Capri is awesome and hope to read more about her as well as Lennon. I wanted more on Bree at the end - I just felt like the conclusion to her story or their story wasn't complete without a little extra drama from her. The ending was sweet but I hope there's a bit more to come... maybe a novella?

First, a moment of appreciate needs to be taken for this cover. It is GORGEOUS. I seriously love it so hard.

Now, the story. The way Kimberly was able to weave sentences and her descriptions... They left me speechless. There were so many times I was jealous of the descriptions and the way things were said. I still can't get over it. Kimberly has serious potential.

And August... oh, August. Love him. The whole cast of characters were amazing. I loved the funny, sweet, and lovable cast. I'm seriously anxious for the next book!

Amazing book this is definitely one of those book that I will Cherish forever! I fell in love with the characters the minute I started reading it! Kensie had a tough time as a teenager and its not until she meets August that she actually starts living.. This book shows you that love conquers all in the end and no matter how much baggage you have from your past, everything will always be brighter if you have the right person right by your side! Do yourself the favor of picking up a copy
