More details about the book can be found at http://digitalliteraci.es.
The spectrum of digital literacies which revolved around our everyday life in which most of us the 'tech-savvy' often overlooked and took it for granted. Digital literacies isn't just about knowing how to switch on the PC or Installing a software, this book will drill it down into your head down to the very core of the philosophy of literacies itself. A very good start for me this year to actually finish this book when I had to prepare a digital literacies framework for my organization. Highly recommended.
This book provides a clear overview of the conundrum around "digital literacies" and provides an alternative framework for evaluating and describing digital literacies. Well worth the read!
Solid distillation of Belshaw's thinking which I think appropriately complicates the notions of digital literacy/digital literacies that prevail in schools. I may go back to his dissertation for some more detail on what each of the eight elements might look like (and how to distinguish them).
