Angeles has a dull life. There is nothing exciting or thrilling about her. However, that was until she met him. He will make her world crumble around her, making her wish she could have her dull life back. Who is he? Who knows? He is whose name shall not be spoken out loud.
10000 stars will not enough for this book!! Madness*Oops never says his name*He is demon but still rocking. Lot of twist. This story seriously gave me trust issues! Incredible story. Horror! Horror! Horror! Anyway Drake's friendship with her is something meaningful! He knows her and support her to be slave for Demon M******! Nah nah nah! Not going to say his name! It's rule number one! but the ending shows the Women Power! I'm waiting for the "Sweet Revenge". Want to see how those Demons feel the pain that Angeles feel when she fighting for her sanity!! Hahaha!!*Evil Laugh!! Its time to Women's Sweet Revenge. I got seriously mind- trucked!
Angeles was an orphanage, for the past few years she lived on her own. after leaving the orphanage, her sister Raven went to live at another part of the town. one night she came pouncing on her door, mumbling about someone chasing after her. days later, she was visited by a demon called Madness. he toyed with her mind, fooling her and confusing her with his tricks, making her his thing. desperate to be free of fear, Angeles had to seek for help without killing anyone along the way.
Sweet Madness (2012) was very engaging for the very few chapters. the conversation between Angeles and Madness was somewhat predictable, sometimes reducing the tension thus less absorbing at times. at some point, Madness was just empty threats, not being as scary as he was portrayed to be. but since the novel was written by an amateur author, it was as good as it gets. i enjoyed Sweet Madness (2012) in overall. the experience however, could be better with a happy ending. after chasing the story from head to toe, having Angeles fell under Madness' control just completely ruined the satisfaction.
I thought this was a book about vampires. Yeah, I was in for a rude awakening. Lol. This book was the first demon book I ever read. And let me tell you, this book scared the shit out of me. See, Jessica, don't mess with demon shit! I knew there was a reason why I never watched, "The Exorcist!"
If you like a book where a demon possesses a chick 24/7 and chick thinking she's going completely insane, then i highly recommend. Now I'm off to church...
Edit: AUNQUE ME MUERO POR SABER TODO EL BACKSTORY DE ANGELES, SIENTO QUE HAY COSAS QUE NO NOS HAN CONTADO

Tbh, I didn't really adore "My wattpad love" and I absolutely hate "Growing up" so I was kinda hesitant when my best friend recommended "Sweet Madness", and all I can say now is that I really enjoyed that book. I found it more interesting and captivating than the other two books actually. Although the end was not expected, I cannot say I didn't like it because I simply did. It was kinda weirdly great?
This was really good! Mind boggling. Confusing. Scary. The author delivered well in the genre area. The way how this really made me question if everything that happened to Angeles is real until the very end of the book. I couldn't stop reading this even when it was already 3 a.m. I don't read much horror stories, but this one's my favorite. Although, I just hoped that the author gave more backstory to Angeles' past.
I was on the edge of my seat excited while reading this. Yet at the same time I scared and wrapped in my blanket because I was freaking out with each page.
I remember this being good for a wattpad book however i could have cooked a baby in the time that has passed and i can barley remember what i did half an hour ago :)
I read this soooo long ago on Wattpad. I remember waiting with anticipation for every chapter of this psychological "romance". Years later, I still think about this story and the feelings it gave me.
A-B-S-O-L-U-T-E-L-Y A-W-E-S-O-M-E! I seriously loved this story! It was so fun to read! I don't usually read horror stories but this cover grabbed my attention. The blurb wasn't all that interesting but WOW! Once I started, I honestly could not stop. It was like something that kept my eyes always glued to the words, always.
I loved how the author wrote their story, it was so captivating and every time the character Angeles thought, how I the reader thought, she figured it out, I figured something out, only to get confused all over again. I think that was the main element that kept me wanting to read it over and over again.
There were so many little unexpected plot twists in the story that made the story so much better. It was so interesting and I just couldn't stop, always thinking about what was to happen next. I had so many mixed emotions about Dagon. Helping, lying and pretending to Angeles. I felt really sorry for her when she found out all that came from him was just an act so that Madness could get her. And I honestly did not believe the betrayal coming from her sister. Did the words 'sorry' even meant anything to her? I honestly didn't know if Raven was forced to do this or she really never felt anything for her sister.
The ending wasn't really that unexpected. Though part of me felt that a happy ending would be better but the ending here was really good too. I really hope the author writes another book since the ending clearly was meant to have one! Though I hate waiting...Sigh. But its worth the wait. But then I'd have to read this book over again...Oh well!
"Sweet Madness" is a free work of fiction available on Wattpad. Please note that my rating for this story is based off of a different set of standards from what I use for published books.
"Sweet Madness" is one of the best stories I've read since I started reading on Wattpad again. It will push and pull at your feelings and opinions relentlessly until you don't what to believe and you start to feel a tad bit Mad. The plot was was great and the characters were as equally good. There's even a possibility for a sequel in the future. The author's words, not mine.
Now, let's play a game of truths and lies.
Angeles is orphan grown living by herself and working as a receptionist. Her life is boring, predictable, and normal. And safe. Until her sister Raven shows up in the middle of the night bloody and bruised with frenzied mutterings about him chasing her and if she has any holy water or crucifixes. Angeles is worried and befuddled, but becomes afraid when he knocks on her door. And appears on her fifth floor balcony. Especially when her sister disappears.

Now he's tormenting her. There's pain and blood and she's terrified. He's telling her things, things she doesn't know and things to do and she's not even sure if its real or if she's falling into Madness.
Okay, so, to be completely honest, I hated My Wattpad Love with a burning passion. The book lacked grammar and apostrophes were scattered all over the place instead of full-stops.
I was hesitant to read anything else by the author. Her style of writing was extremely bland. However, when I came across Sweet Madness , I thought, why not give it a try?
And the experience wasn't bad. Not at all. It's not fantastically amazing or anything close to it, but I can't disagree that it's gripping. So, I ignored the writing and continued. Some of the "twists" failed to make sense to me. The ending? Totally rushed.
My two-three star rating doesn't mean that I enjoyed it. More like, maybe-it-wasn't-that-bad-I-think-it's-okay-ish.
I like the plot and the eerie nature of this book! And also the cliffhangers(even though I hate it.)
I was shocked when I found out that this is the author of My Wattpad Love. I hope there will be a sequel since the last chapter and epilogue confused me.
Creepy, haunting, and ominous! This book gave me the chills but I couldn't stop reading it. I love how it talks about demons on a spiritual level. Sometimes people don't believe that they could be the reason someone goes insane.
