I thought the book was well thought out and written. Unlike one reviewer I was not put off by Nicole Parker’s testimony of faith in God and His guidance during her life. It was refreshing. She confirmed what I and others have believed, that the FBI although having dedicated and hardworking field agents the leadership failed not only them but the country.

The author lost all credibility for me. She condemns a superior for making sexual and misogynistic remarks, was tasked with investigating sexual crimes,and yet openly supports Trump. The very simplistic writing is not something I expected from a book covering this topic.

WOW!
I am about to turn 82 years of age. I am a devout Christian and have never denied my faith in the presence of anyone. I am also a patriot and conservative. I have lived what many have referred to as an interesting life in service to my country and would do so again without hesitation. I have visited 31 countries in a little under 10 years. Most were political adversaries and would have executed me after torture had I been discovered in their countries.
However, this is not about me. I share this only to give you a framework of my background. Instead this is about a lady who has written a book called 2 FBIs. My first word is used to describe her not as an author, but as a person and it is WOW!
My additional descriptors are Faith, Family, Mission, Purpose, her "Why," Community, Education, and Vocation. I determine my degree of affinity with someone using only three criteria. They are Quality of Character, degree of competence, and what is in their heart. If thet don't have love, kindness, and integrity in their hearts, the preceding two don't matter.
She is someone whose integrity is unwavering no matter whether anyone is looking or not. That is because her faith is resolute and she knows God sees everything all the time. I am the same way. It is not always fun or comfortable to be that way but it is necessary in order to be faithful to both God and those we have agreements with.
Nicole is someone who has seen more death and descruction than any human being should ever be allowed to see, some of it avoidable if those responsible had done their jobs properly. What they fail to understand or believe is that judgment days awaits all of us.
Nicole has seen a close friend pass and has remained faithful to her to the bitter end. This was clearly an avoidable loss.
I highly recommend this book to you, dear reader, not because Nicole needs to sell books, but instead, because there is an extremely important message that all patriotic citizens need to understand NOW. If conservatives fail to vote for those who are on the right path, we as patriots will see the country we know and love fall into the wrong hands and the thousands of military veterans and first responders will have given their lives in vain and surrendered our freedoms, perhaps forever.
May God continue to richly bless America. He will if we pray and repent.

Fascinating viewpoint and description of the changes we have all been witnessing over the past several years from someone who was actually a part of the organization. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because parts of the book read more like a personal diary than a "true story of crime fighting" but overall a very good read. This was my takeaway/favorite quotes:
"Being American means more than individual success—it means looking out for one another. We are united by shared ideals, common values, and a commitment to the greater good.
For much of my life, I believed that making good choices would shield me from darkness. But confronting evil requires facing it directly. To expose and eliminate wrongdoing, you must be willing to witness it.
Honesty is essential to living honorably. It requires speaking up when something violates your conscience and standing firm in truth—even when doing so invites criticism or risk. Complacency may feel safe, but integrity demands courage.
Over time, it seemed as though two versions of the FBI emerged. One consisted of agents who joined to serve selflessly—ethical professionals committed to the Constitution, protecting victims, and pursuing justice without bias or personal ambition. The other reflected a culture where political agendas, self-promotion, and identity-driven priorities overshadowed merit and impartial law enforcement."
The author argues that diversity initiatives and identity politics gradually replaced rigor and meritocracy. Hiring standards, physical requirements, and experience thresholds were lowered to meet representation goals. Parker writes from the 1st person view. Not only about her own "eyes" either. She in progressive over time fashion gives specifics of numerous jobs of long years duration. AND a perception of others (family, locations, job teams etc.) at the same time which doesn't completely revolve around her own emotions or even her own reactions. Yet she expresses those emotions and reactions far more than the much more usual of the last 20 years- whine and blame of the victim cognition. Amazing! An autobiography that actually specifically nails situations and reality, as well.
From being a witness to 9-11 and coming out of the tower herself, to the days of huge grief for a best friend and coworker murdered- the details are all there. As are the reality of the FBI in leadership and in viewed various directions of immense conflicts.
Her stint in Miami district, so long and so experienced! The school shooting and the various port of call high seas issues. Very informative.
Looking from the outside with eyes as most American citizens have observed these last 20 years? She didn't list enough of the duplicities and politicalizations cabals. But also at the same time did describe so many valiant and incredibly brave folks too who were never part and parcel of that behavior.
All of her spiritual and religious copy of making Jesus the decider to what path she would follow next? This will be a huge turnoff for some who see deep religious faith as a kind of idiocy. It seems that some reviewers of this believe she is evangelizing. She always has her faith in heart and in mind actually. What she stresses is how she would like a husband and children but that the path she prayed about always lead her to these directions instead and so she let His will prevail. One of many siblings, she is not shy about revealing love and life long connections to all of them also. And why she has gone where she has gone.
You see too many evil, evil people in this job. Kudos to her for doing it for that length of time she accomplished when she could have stayed in Hedge Funds success far, far easier. The book is 3.5 stars rounded up because the prose flow itself is 1st book writer level. She uses the same words consistently which rather dumbs down the English. But it IS clear and precise in who, what, where, when, how.

So I saw Ms. Parker on TV and thought I think I have a book written by her.....sure enough I did and was surprised it was recently published. This book was very well written and gave first hand accounts of events that occurred - starting with 9/11. I always have been a fan of James Comey until I wasn't and boy did this book further open my eyes. Unreal. I remember the FBI fumbling the Stoneman Douglas shooter - when someone called and said he was going to shoot up a school and the FBI said that was not their jurisdiction....I kind of knew about diversity but didn't know how bad it was. Totally recommend this book.

I skipped to the actual book
only to be assailed with
more god bothering.
-sigh-
I really wish books would come with a

I read this book written by my cousin Nicole Parker. She lived in NYC in 2001 and worked in the World Trade Center complex of buildings. She witnessed and survived the 911 terrorist attack in NYC. She eventually joined the FBI and this is her memoir. It's a great story of bravery, faith and perseverance. My cousin is amazing and her story is compelling and faith-filled. I highly recommend reading this excellent portrayal of the FBI and her experience as a FBI Special Agent.

This book is great Nicole Parker is someone who has put her heart and soul into writing this book , she authors this with her spiritual quest at the same time while simultaneously fighting for truth , justice and the American way . This is a must read !

Well, her faith certainly shines through in this book. A very complete story about why she joined the FBI and why she left.it did take about half the book before she defined the two FBIs, but once into it she did a fine job.

The best book I’ve ever read. Nicole’s knowledge is incredibly impressive, easy to understand, and truly speaks to your soul. I sincerely hope she writes a sequel.

It's a book I couldn't put down till I finished it. What a writer she is also teaching us about the
system and how Kur-Upt it is. At least we know more about the Good, the Bad and the UGLY
Politicians around us. I loved this book. Money is truly the root of all EVIL. Who can you trust.

It was just okay. I think she should have let someone else read it. In most cases I think authors should narrate their own books. In this case....most definitely NOT. It sounded like she was reading a book she had never read before. It didn't go over very well.
