Don Packham and Frank Mitchell are Mat Coward's version of the Odd Couple. I liked other books in this series more than I liked this one. This time around, knowledge of cricket and more than a casual interest in comedy are required. In my opinion, the repartee is not as witty and is more forced than in other books in the series.

While it the writing was sound enough, I couldn't warm up to the two main characters. So, while it was okay, I got bored.
