While living with Julie and Christy, the shy and unsocial Chloe was finally starting to come out of her shell. She had joined Dr. Benton's lab, moved in with the girls and was happy that she was making progress on her research.
Raleigh made the move from Rhode Island to Maryland hoping to gain a new perspective on life and to help carve out her future directions following graduation from Dartmouth. When she found the job opening on Assateague Island, she immediately knew that it was something that could help her gain experience.
After her move, Raleigh quickly made friends with all of the full time employees, including Julie and Christy. She had pegged them as a couple on first meeting, and within the week she was invited to a get together at their house in Fruitland. Upon arriving at their house, she realized however, that “get together” actually meant party, and after an hour she decided she needed some space and time to breathe. She moved to the back door, hoping no one saw her retreat outside into the dark. What she didn’t expect was that someone else would have the same idea.
