If I could give this book more than 5 stars I would

Olivia Howe hit the ball out of the park so to speak. This book truly had me hooked from beginning to end. At point it was like I don't want to stop reading but nor do I want the book to end.

Nina and Andrews journey continues in this book with lots of ups and downs much like real life. New characters enter and make their mark and sadly some leave.

I will be waiting in eager anticipation for the 3rd book in this series

Oh where to start, this Author, has completely amazed me with this book, Seeing Red is the second instalment in The Dark Love series and without taking credit to the first this was a step up in the style of writing and story. I cant help but feel very proud to see this talented young writer getting better and better with each book, I felt not only has she proven she can write brilliantly but also has shown us how that maturity has transpired into the characters.
In this second part, we pretty much start where we had left the first book, which as great feel like pressing play in a remote control, and from the start we come to see the story and plot has thicken, as we still see everything through Nina's eyes its apparent the desperation and struggles she has to overcome, emotionally and physically, Andrew as always is this perfect gentleman, but at the same time is a strong protector and lover, he is with her every step of the way.The Sulivic brothers are still creating havoc for our leading lady and now more than ever she is put to a test, new characters are introduced and as with the first there is plenty of action, drama and romance . A perfect read for lovers of the paranormal genre, but also those romantics at heart.
The First One was great, this one is even BETTER. Cant wait for the next part!.

4.5 stars.

Wow I have just finished Seeing Red book 2 in the Dark Love series and loved it.

The book starts off where book 1 has finished, Caroline and William have ran away and Nina and Andrew are on alert in case of a revenge attack from the Sulivic Brothers. Nina and Andrew are still also in love and it’s great to see their relationship progress throughout the book. Their relationship is so sweet and I love how they let each other know how much they love each other and ‘forever and always’.

The story is told from Nina’s POV as with book 1 and there are still the diary entries at the start of the chapter which I love and feel they really set the scene for each chapter. There are also some great secondary characters in the story and we are introduced to the Anderson witches which I feel there is more to be learnt about. As well as the book being about Nina and Andrew’s relationship there is plenty of drama and twists and turns that kept me hooked throughout. At times I also found the story the to be a little emotional and a cried a few tears and certain parts.

I can’t wait for the next book I desperately want to know what becomes of Nina and Andrew.

A fabulous addition to the series – the book gets off to a flying start - picking up directly where book one ended.
This time we discover that Caroline and William have left and that Nina and Andrew are trying to keep everything together and stay one step ahead of the Sulivic brothers. But that task is easier said than done.
Nina is being sought out by the Sulivic brothers who want to turn her into a healer vampire – good thing she has Andrew by her side to love and protect her.
The book is narrated from Nina’s point of view and we spend much of our time focusing on the relationship between Nina and Andrew. I was drawn to the pair of them and the intensity of their relationship - it was so beautiful. His devotion to her was breath-taking – he not only battled to save her from the Sulivics but stood by her as she battled her depression.
Evil and treachery is afoot in the plot and the twists and turns will have you turning the page with gay abandon – never a bad thing in my opinion!
Overall a fabulous story from this young author - bringing a maturity and depth to the writing that is way beyond her years.
Congratulations Ms Howe on a job well done !!!

Nina Mckay is a healer who battles her depression daily, and is sought after by the vampires especially the Sulivic brothers who want to turn her into a healer vampire as they feel all healers are evil. Andrew Madsen is the vampire who loves Nina and is her protector alongside his family. But what happens when Nina is captured by a traitor and delivered to the Sulivic brothers and made to forget what she knew?

This is a great book by a very talented author. You really feel for Nina as her daily struggles with depression are well written, and the fact that her sister and her sister’s boyfriend has had to go into 'hiding' to protect her from a fate worse than death so she is just left with her mum. You can also feel the love that Andrew and Nina share as he would literally go to any lengths to protect her from the Sulivic brothers even going as far as to be kidnapped by them himself.

This is the Second book in this series and does end on a slight cliffhanger so you will have to read the next one in the series.

I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it to others

**I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest reciew.**

Olivia hit it out the park with this one.Her main character Nina is such a strong young lady. She deals with life's challenges on top of Vampire/Healer challenges head on. Add that to the fact that she is still battling depression and anxiety and you have one kick ass heroine.
Oh and the love that Nina and Andrew have is awesome. They are so perfectly made for each other it can only be fate that brought these two together.
Olivia threw some curveballs into the playing field and boy was I shocked. I honestly didn't expect some of the things that happened in this book.
I continue to love the overall theme and message of this book. I love that Olivia is brave and strong enough to not only talk about depression on a clinical level but on a raw, passionate, personal level.
I thought Dark Love was good but Seeing Red was so much better. I can't wait to get my hands on the last book!!!!

Once again Olivia has written an amazing book. I not so patiently waited to get my hands on this book and once I was finally able to get time to sit down and read it I couldn't put it down.. I was up till 4am reading it. Nina and Andrew's relationship and adventure continues in this book with lots of drama. Nina continues to battle her depression, but her strength and with Andrew's support she does not let it get the best of her. I think she really grew a lot stronger as a person in this book (even to the point of trying to attack a vampire). Andrew learns information about his parent's from a new family in town. You want to know more, you will have to wait till June 24th for the book to release and be sure to tell Olivia Happy 20th Birthday that day! Cant wait for the 3rd book in this series!!

Olivia has done it again!! She has taken a story and made it come to life before my eyes. Made me feel supremely connected to the characters upon the pages and brought me into her world. I just can't say enough about this book.

It is better than the first, where as I usually find sequels to be somewhat lacking. Not the case for Seeing Red. I was privileged enough to be a beta reader and have already added this to me read it again list!

Be sure to get this book on your TBR, you won't regret it.

This is another amazing book in this series! This book was gripping! You will feel for Nina, Andrew, Caroline and Williams!

Nina is amazing in this book. I enjoyed her spunk and everything she did/felt. She and Andrew are sizzling but jealously, pain and drama erupt until the very end with them.

There is suspense and mystery in the book too that will make it quite an interesting ride... all the way until the end.
And that END... WOAH! Gripping, shocking, sad, amazing and seriously makes you wanting book 3 like yesterday!

I can't wait for book 3!!!

4 stars from me.

Once again Olivia did an amazing job! This book had me hooked from beginning to end. I didn't want to put the book down but eventually had to to get some sleep! But I couldn't stop thinking about the book it is THAT good.
The book start where book 1 finished, Caroline and William ran away and Nina and Andrew are keeping an eye out in case of a revenge attack. I absolutely loved how Nina and Andrew's relationship evolved through the book. They are so sweet together and I loved how they kept letting each other know how they felt and how much they love each other.
As with book 1 this was told from Nina's POV. There are still the diary entries at the start of each chapter which is actually a brilliant idea and sets the scene perfectly for each chapter.
Loads of drama happening and lots of plot twists, new characters introduced. All of that promise for an amazing story that will keep you hooked and feel what the characters are feeling, the story was an emotional ride and will probably make you tear up a bit at some parts!
We keep track on Nina's battle with depression but her strength and with Andrew's support she manages to not let it get the best of her. She really is growing into a stronger character in this book which is really good to see her get some confidence and strength back.
Make sure to pick this book up if you like paranormal romance this is the book for you! I'm not into paranormal romance but this book sucked me in from the start! (pun intended haha) Can't wait for the 3rd book that can't come any faster!
Make sure to wish Olivia a Happy 20th Birthday on the release day! She deserves it!

Seeing Red is the second book in the Dark Love Series. It picks up where Dark Love ends.

It has been 6 months since Caroline and William left without a word to anyone. Nina is still having a very hard time dealing with the absence of her sister. She is trying to cope with her depression and not relapse.

The only thing that helps Nina get threw her days is being so in love with Andrew. He is her happy ever after, but just like every relationship there will be problems and to top it off the Sulivic brothers are back and want Nina.

Andrew's sister Alex calls a friend to help out with the Sulivic brothers. Soon Nina finds out that its Andrew's ex of 10 years!

I fell in love with this story from the very first page. You'll get to see Love, Lose, Hurt, Depression, Revenge, Death, Soul Mates. Those are just a few things from this phenomenal story. It captures your attention from the very first page and leave you wanting and anticipating whats going to happen next!

I'm eagerly waiting for book 3 by the amazing author Olivia Howe! I know it will be terrific!

This book is amazing. I read Dark Love after it came out, and immediately fell in love with Andrew and Nina. Andrew is wonderful book boyfriend material, and Nina is a beautiful character who is very easy to relate to.
I love that Olivia has used her personal struggles and added that element in her writing. Nina suffers from depression and panic attacks, and the way Olivia describes this is spot on. There is a scene towards the end where Nina has a panic attack, and I felt like I was having one too with the way she wrote it. Her imagery is beautiful.
Seeing Red pics up where Dark Love left off, and we get to learn more about Andrew's life. I loved meeting Selene and Ambrogio, and hated Ora. Olivia has a way with words that truly captivates you from beginning to end.
I can't wait for Trying to Remember - book 3 - which is releasing this year! Olivia is such a talented young author. She's 20 and has 2 published books. I can't wait to see what else comes out of that brilliant mind of hers :)

This is book two in The Dark Love Series.
The story continues where it left off from book one.

If you like Vampire Diaries. You will love this book.

Nina and Andrew are destined to be together, but with all the turmoil going on in their lives can they really handle it?

Things happen and Nina will never be the same. And after all that has happened to her will Andrew and her ever be the same?

This is a great book that kept me entertained and interested in the 4 main characters (the two sisters and the two brothers)
It is not a standalone book.

Olivia is really growing in her writing and seems to be getting better and better with each new book that she writes.
If you like Vampires and lots of adventure then this is the book for you!!!

I enjoyed this book. this is the second installment to The Dark Love Series.

One thing that I liked about it Olivia's writing was that it made me feel a connection to each character and made me feel like I was in their world feeling every emotion.

This series is about a girl who is dealing with depression and I actually read this book at a time where I was feeling down and after reading Seeing Red helped me and it touched me. The words that Nina the female lead writes in her diary or the stuff she is thinking about while getting through her depression touched me, it was very touching to read it.

"I've been searching for my happiness for awhile now. I finally realized that before I could find my happiness, I had to find myself, which I did."
^^^^ This is one quote from the book that I meant something to me it really touched me...

I can't wait to read the next book in the series.... I want to read more about Nina and Andrew and see where they end up...

Nina is broken and trying to fight her way through life. Her sister is still missing and Sulivic brothers are after her because of her powers. Andrew is amazing to her and is keeping her safe. Nina is worried about her mom. It's finally time for the prom and Andrew made it amazing. Nina feels not as broken when she's around him. She's absolutely in love with him. A new girl comes to school named Reese. She's very shy and Andrew has figured out she's a witch. Her grandmother also gave him some other shocking news, only he can hope is true. The brothers are getting closer to finding Nina. A tragic incident happens and Nina looses her memory. Will Andrew be able to help her regain it or will she be alone forever? This is an amazing series so far I can't wait for the ending.

5 Crazy Awesome Stars!!!

I'm even more amazed by Olivia Howe and her writing. It is such a privilege to follow a young author and see her grow as a writer.

This book was even better than the first in the series, Dark Love. I don't want to spoil this book for other readers so all I will say is... I really liked how the story played out and can't wait until the final installation of the series comes out. I got so immersed into the story so much so that I didn't realize that I sat and read nonstop for 3.5 hrs straight without a break. I most definitely recommend this series!

Another job well done, Miss Howe!!!
