This book sort of had me on the fence. What was written was a good read, but it is supposed to be a shifter romance, and the romance seemed to be left behind in book 1.
This second book in the series was just as good as the first and the flow from book one to book two was flawless. I think this series will do well in a boxed set 😃 Looking forward to book three.
I definitely like this one better than the first. It has a lot more to it and since you understand everything from the first book you have less difficulty following along this time. Plus, there are a few more surprises and a few more interesting characters playing bigger parts this time. I do believe I'm interested enough to finish the last book now. I can't promise I'll read again after this but, I've gone this far I mine as well see it to the end.
I thought the first book had a lot of action with Luke and Becky and their gang of outlaws. But not really outlaws, but considered that by propaganda. Great story and highly recommend it.
