Unfettered: An Overwatch Novella is a quick steamy light BDSM read about Ian and his childhood friends little cousin Ronnie. Ronnie knew her needs ran a little darker than most, not finding satisfaction with regular vanilla sex, after some failed poor excuses at finding a Dom, she decides to apply as a submissive at Overwatch. Ian is a trainer and Dom at the Overwatch, and while he isn't to thrilled his friend's cousin wants in to his club, he can't turn her way to the men claiming they are Dom's. In the program she goes, and while the two are in each other's space they act as if there is nothing between them, until Ian smartens up and claims her as his.

For me, this would have been a much more enjoyable read, however the "Time Passed" between events ... it took away from building a relationship between the characters and made the book feel rushed. It was still good, just could have been better. I will still jump into the next book in the series, with hopes we get a little more.

Holy crap on a cracker!!! Loved this novella and can’t wait for the first book in the series. I loved Ronnie and instantly connected with her. I can’t wait to read about all the members of Overwatch, going to be a great series. I hope to hell we see more of Ronnie in these upcoming books.

A short, hot steamy read. Ronnie has always been one of the guys, always being overlooked because of she'd rather have grease under her nails than a manicure. Finally finding a club where they train submissives, she's hopeful that she can find a man to fulfil her needs.

When Ian sees Ronnie for the first time in years, his immediate reaction is "mine". Having run far and fast away from her when he was 18 and she was 15, age no longer a barrier to his having Ronnie for himself.

Overwatch seems to be a place where you can find yourself and explore your desires.

I LOVED this novella and can't wait to read the next installment of the Overwatch series.

I really liked this author's style of writing and how the back story was presented. Her characters are strong and well written for a novella. Ronnie is a tomboy, mechanic (I love this so much), who wants to be treated like the sexy woman she is. Ian is a trainer at a BDSM club who recognizes her from his past.

If you liked Kallypso Masters, you would like this hot little number!! However, there weren't really any BDSM scenes, but lots of discussion about them, and it worked very well!! I look forward to more from this author and more in this series.

The novella “Unfettered” opens up a whole new world for not only Ronnie, our unique leading lady, but for the readers as well. Unfettered is the introduction to Sasha’s new series Overwatch. Although this story probably doesn’t meet the industries standard for an erotic story, it does meet my standard for one.

I believe there is more to erotica than just the sex. There is the learning about ones desires and the anticipation of what may come from that. Sasha has given us characters, main and secondary, that I can’t wait to find out more about. As Ronnie discovers and learns more about herself and her desires the anticipation builds for both her and the reader. I also enjoyed the idea that Ronnie could be any one of us. Well romance stories are supposed to fire our imaginations, right?

Thank the writing gods and authors that realize romance isn’t just for those in their early 20’s! Yes Ronnie is 34 and still one hot little number. Ian thinks so too even if he hasn’t seen her since her teens. I know you’re thinking of your very first love right about now, aren’t you? Don’t worry we won’t tell your husbands and boyfriends or wives and girlfriends.*wink* One more little tid bit, Sasha’s story includes not only female subs wanting to learn about all the fun stuff but also male subs and a few training to become the Dominate. I’m looking forward to see if any of the following stories follow these characters as well. Either way Overwatch is looking like a series you’re going to want to check out. Unfettered is the prequel novella to what promises to be an exciting, sexy new erotic romance series from Sasha White. In this initial tale, we are introduced to Overwatch, a private BDSM club, its owner Adam, and a few of his friends/club trainers. In addition, the novella shares a bit about the club and Adam’s philosophy, building the world for future stories.

The romance in Unfettered is uncomplicated, which fits the shorter-length story. We meet Ronnie, who is tired of being seen as just “one of the guys” and is fed up with the lack of satisfaction in her sex life. Hoping to find more, she applies to the submissive training program at Overwatch, where she meets Ian Johnson, both a member and trainer at Overwatch. The pair were childhood friends but haven’t seen each other in years; however as adults, their passion reignites.

Unfettered provides a great blend of sweet and sexy romance. I thoroughly enjoyed my introduction to Club Overwatch, and its relaxed atmosphere that accepts all members for who there are. My biggest issue with the story was the "quick to I love you” aspect of the romance. Although the author does a great job developing a backstory for the pair, it is so far in the past and their acquaintance far too innocent, for me to believe they fell in love within the timeline of the book. In addition, the BDSM aspect of the story is very light. We follow Ronnie through her training, but there aren't many scenes. Even the sex, while very hot, is mostly vanilla. This is not a negative, and didn’t detract from the book at all, but I do hope for a bit more heat in the upcoming full-length story, Primal.

I've almost always loved Sasha White's stories, and this is no different. This is a short novella about a girl who is sick of being treated or though of as someone she feels she is not. She craves a D/s relationship and will stop at nothing to get it. Cue ... Club Overwatch ... AND ... Cue, the sexy, steamy, never forgotten, Ian :)
In a nutshell, because I do not give away plots in my reviews, Ian and Ronnie share a past (read and you shall find out why and how lol) and when they meet again in the present ... Ian is not letting go and Ronnie is more than willing to hold on tight!
What I really loved about this story is that it gave you a HEA (even with such a short novella) but not really ... You think you know but you just never know. That's what Sasha White does in her novels. She doesn't quite leave you guessing but she doesn't tie it into a neat little package for you either. It is something to get used to since most authors do not go this route, but it is refreshing to read. It has sometimes caused me to scream, grrrrrrrrrr, at the end of one of her novels, but I have never been disappointed in her writing. It's sensual and sexy and easy to read and she makes you feel like you're right there in the story with everyone.
This series promises to be phenomenal. Get to reading because you do not want to miss this!

Unfettered is a very quick read. I wish there was more to the story. Just when I was getting into it BAM it was over.

Ronnie grew up a tom boy, always one of the guys. She knew how men saw her. After she turns to internet dating she knows she's made a mistake. Getting the application to join, Overwatch, a BDSM club, filling it out she knew she was making the right decision. She's a submissive and needs to be trained.

Ian was a trainer at Overwatch. When he and the other trainers were reviewing applications he realizes he knows Ronnie. He hears the horrible stories of her "experiences". Can he train her? Will it be too hard since he knows her personally?

It was a short ride but I enjoyed it. I am intrigued by the other members of Overwatch and can't wait to read more about them.

This brief prequel to 'Primal' definitely gets the blood flowing. It packs a good story into very few pages, and definitely delivers. Clearly the leading group in this BDSM club are going to fall, and it is going to be very enjoyable watching it unfold. In this novella, Ian unexpectedly rediscovers a childhood friend, who signs up to learn about submission. I would say that this is on the lighter spectrum of BDSM, and done responsibly. I enjoyed it, a lot.

From the very start this novella grabbed my attention. It was interesting and I quickly made it through the story. There is a lot of starter information on BDSM so at times it was a bit dragging to me, but I understand the point of it. There were 'instructional' parts and I wish those had been expanded upon a bit since they were mentioned instead of breezed over so much. Although I didn't care for the instalove even though they'd known each other a bit twenty years earlier.

All in all a pretty good story, can't wait to learn more with the next book!

This is a really good book and i can;t wait for more from the Overwatch series from Sasha White.

Ronnie has always been a tom boy always a little out of place from everyone else in her life. The one person she felt close to went off and joined the service years ago never to get in touch with her again. She can't stay in a realionship...can't get what she needs. She looks online for it, finally she is pointed in the direction of club overwatch. Here to her surprise she runs into her old next door neighbor Ian. This is their story....

I've never read anything by this author, so I was rather pleasantly surprised by my reaction to this book! Sadly, it was too short for my tastes, and ended rather abruptly, which detracted from my rating of this book.

I loved Ronnie! She was such a great heroine, a bit on the unusual side, and I liked how much she seemed to gravitate toward Ian, even when she was trying things out with other people. I liked Ian as well, he wasn't too Alpha, too Dominant, he was a perfect mix of the two. I liked reading about the club itself, and the training classes they held. This book definitely intrigued me for more of the series!

This book was a great treat to read. Sasha White has a way of telling a story, and makes you feel like you know them. I also enjoyed how she made the club Overwatch different then other authors view in the BDSM. Ronnie a tomboy trying to find a safe place to be her submissive self. Then we have Ivan who is a Dom in the club, but he knows Ronnie when he was in his teens and haven't seen her in 10 years, them having a past makes the story So good. This book I recommend and the series I am so excited to read when released.

The characters are engaging and draw you into this wonderful BDSM world that surrounds the Overwatch club.

I really liked this author's style of writing and cannot wait to read more about the characters introduced in Unfettered, even after this small glimps into there lives you are left wanting more, to really find out there back ground and there story.

This is a quick and easy read, but still a great one to read. Ronnie was a tomboy growing up and that never changed. She spends more time working on cars in the shop she works at than she does working on her appearance, dating and sex combined. But one thing is for sure, she knows what she wants. And that is to be in a D/s relationship. So she applies to join Club Overwatch. When she goes for her first training class, she meets up with Ian, a boy from her past. One she never forgot. Their chemistry is strong right from the start and it just increases with every training class. But just when everything started really heating up, the book ended. I was left feeling a little let down at the sudden ending. I wish there had been a little more of the relationship between Ronnie and Ian before it ended.

I liked the clean, direct writing style, and the gravity with which the particulars of a BDSM club were handled. I didn't like how rushed it was.

I get it. It's a teaser novella for the first book. But even so, forty pages isn't enough to convince me that Ronnie's in love with Ian, or that he's in love with her. That they're in lust with each other, oh, absolutely, I believe that. But the ending of the novella rang false for me, especially because after all that work Ronnie went through to be a part of the club, the first thing she does is leave it to go home with Ian? Thematically, that makes no sense.

I dearly hope the first full-length novel will fix/pay off the setup here, because I'm definitely primed to like these characters, I just feel like the novella wasn't enough.

This was a quick, hot, and sexy read. Ian enjoys his time as a Dom at Overwatch, particularly training new Doms and subs to give him the variety and no strings. When Ronnie, the girl he grew up next door to, applies, it stirs something in him he'd rather let be

Ronnie knows what she wants in her sex life, and isn't afraid to go get it. After some stumbles, she makes it to Overwatch, where she is surprised to see Ian as one of the trainers. The boy who gave her her first kiss and then disappeared is even better in all-grown up form

While Ronnie figures out what she wants in her sex life, Ian decides what he wants in his life, and they realize how the things fit perfectly

Short, steamy read with the basics of BDSM. Unfettered introduces childhood friends, Ronnie and Ian, as they reconnect as adults. Ronnie knows what she wants, but it has always been beyond her grasp until she signs up for Overwatch. Ian doesn't know what he's missing until Ronnie re-enters his life and he has to claim her as his own. The characters were great, the sex mild, but the romance was heartwarming. Can't wait to read more.
