Author (with her twin) of successful suspense book duology Dark Betrayal and Dark Secrets.
Now finished new fantasy series, The Tribes of Feralis. Book One: The Deadly Reckonings, Book Two: Breaking Boundaries due to be released in 2025.
She writes with her twin sister, Victoria. They come from a friendly, multi-cultural town in the Northwest of England called Bolton. She has loved books since she can first remember having any great likes or dislikes. She remembers her Dad often falling asleep reading them bedtime stories! She thinks the advent of Kindle is fantastic as her house would be full to the brim with bookcases otherwise! She has a vivid imagination and loved writing stories from an early age - the twins used to write stories to each other in old exercise books.
Her favourite time at school was when she was asked to write a story. The irony is, she failed to get the expected "A" in her English Lit A-Level as she ran out of time because she was too busy writing long, wordy answers!
In between juggling 7 children (4 biological and 3 foster children) and a supportive but sceptical husband, she has finally managed to achieve her dream. Her husband still cannot quite believe that we finished what he dubbed, "The Neverending Story". If he thought that was it, he was sorely mistaken!
The first book (The Deadly Reckonings) in our a fantasy trilogy, is NOW AVAILABLE!
The twins are thrilled to have been taken on by publisher, Odyssey Books.
If you like marvellous worlds, daring heroes, fierce heroines, edge-of-your-seat adventure, therianthropy (love this word!), a touch of heartbreaking romance, and enough twists and turns to leave you wondering what on earth (or not on earth...on Feralis!) just happened, this is the series for you.
Reviewers and bloggers feel free to contact her for a review copy.

Rebecca Heap, Victoria Heap write a remarkable tale with Breaking Boundaries
In Breaking Boundaries, the reader is brought into the life of Kyra, and her tribe. This is the second book in the Tribes of Feralis. Feralis is a tribe where a person's stature in society is based on strength, and this usually only includes the men, however, Kyra is one for breaking the rules. What I like about writing teams, whether duos or trios, is when the reader can't see the different in writing, when one stops and another one takes over, even if they write for different characters. I can't imagine that it is an easy task, but one that when it all comes together, as one, the reader just sees the characters and plot, and feels the passion of the writer, not whether one or the other wrote the scene. Kyra is determined and tenacious, and dead set on vengeance. But that is not her only strength or even weakness. What an incredible world built by Rebecca Heap and Victoria Heap. What a gripping and incredible storyline. This story is a wondrous trail of words. The authors' techniques of raw, magnetic characters and great plotlines is a gift. This journey was very unpredictable. Breaking Boundaries is a definite recommendation by Amy's Bookshelf Reviews. I read this book to give my unbiased and honest review. Amy's Bookshelf Reviews recommends that anyone who reads this book also write a review.
In Breaking Boundaries, we are watch a woman on a mission to avenge her brother, mother and to make the world a little safer for what’s left of her family.
I was pleasantly impressed that book 2 kept up with the same vibe of book 1 with the action and storyline.
Kyra is on one hell of a journey and she’s taking all of us readers a long with her. She shows her grit, determination and courage at every turn.
The introduction and experience of the Skylarians was also top tier. I also thought the twists and turns that occurred during the time there were surprising and I’m interested to see how it all plays out.
I am also keen to see what happens with Terrell and Kyra. I mean that tension and hostility but also passion kept me on the edge of my seat.
I cannot wait to see what happens next. Will Kyra kill the Reptilian Alpha? Will she bow to him? Will Terrell accept her as a mate or will he out her for what she really is? What will come of Axl?
I have so many questions that need answers. I need the next book asap.
I did almost DNF due to the death of the dog and also how it died. That was too much for me and there was no real justice for it.
I will say, I did think it started out on one course and then complete got sidetracked and went down another course but it all did make sense in the end.
It’s been so long since I wrote a review, but since it’s a sequel, I’ll try to keep it as spoiler free as possible.
First and foremost, thanks to Victoria and Rebecca Heap for the opportunity to read this book in advance in exchange of an honest review.
In BB we’re reintroduced to the land of Feralis, where people, more specifically men, have the attributes of an animal and these wake at a certain point of life. The first book showed us the Deadly Reckonings and the more prominent characters that would appear in BB. We follow Kyra, a new protagonist, taking in the steps of her sibling to try and fit into a society that would simply not let her exist.
Without getting into too much detail, Kyra confronts a lot of situations that brings her, and us, to know more about the tribes and the environments they face on a daily basis. How she, as a woman, is seen different from her male peers and how this affects all the women of the tribes. How the women have their own methods and ways to make do, and how men react to them.
Also I think I see Kyra questioning her identity? That’s interesting.
So much happens in this book!
I can’t wait to read the rest and find out what Kyra is up to, this is a good sequel, and it lives up to the hype of the first book!
This started one way, then all of a sudden, an abrupt shift! Definitely keeps you on your toes.
This has secret identities (Pocahontas vibes…), secrets, betrayals, forced proximity, kidnapping (??), rejection, plenty of stoopidity and a few heartbreaking moments.
I had moments where I felt hopeful for Kyra, then I would check the book progress…. still plenty to go, so the drama wasn’t over that quickly…!
I did find myself getting a bit confused here and there - a lot is going on… But, you’re on the edge of your seat, trying to work out what is going on!
And that ending… oh my… cliffhanger and so dark and twisted!
Breaking Boundaries is a fast-paced, emotionally rich read with a strong heroine and a unique world. Kyra’s journey is full of revenge, secrets, and unexpected connections, which kept me engaged throughout. Some plot points were a bit predictable, but the character growth and world-building more than made up for it. A solid read for fans of fantasy and fierce female leads!
I received an advanced copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving this review.
Breaking Boundaries Book Two in The Tribes of Feralis by Rebecca & Victoria Heap s a fast-paced, action-packed with a strong FMC and a unique world that kept my interest from page one. I now need to read Book 1 while I wait for Book 3 to come out. Recommend!
I received an ARC from StoryOrigin and am leaving my review freely.
Wow! Amazing worldbuilding, gripping storyline....and cliffie. Oh well, it's book two, of course there is. Hope the next book will be out soon! Read it anyway, because you wouldn't want to deprive yourself of a fascinating story.
This is the second book in the Feralis world. I'm taken back by just how strong Kyra is and just how much she feels she can complete. There were a lot of twists and turned in this book and it's far longer than the books that I usually read. Having said that I still enjoyed the story and was surprised more than a time or two by the story.
