At a glance you could be fooled into thinking that Marcy’s life would be a happy and lively journey through a series of different men’s beds. But on closer inspection, her life is busy and at times complicated. Drama seems to follow Marcy around in the form of her friends’ lives and as a result of some bad decisions. After a series of emotionless dates and one-night stands, Marcy finally finds love with Rick, the bass player in the up and coming rock band ‘Flix’. But with Marcy’s fiery temper, Rick’s desire to keep her safe and Flix’s tour looming ever closer; will there be a happy ending for Marcy and Rick? Just as Marcy starts to relax and prepare herself for her own fairy-tale ending, she makes a discovery that could cause everything to come crashing down. Rocking Marcy is book 3 in the Rocking Series, but you do not have to have read book 1 and 2 to enjoy Marcy’s story. This book contains sexual content and is not intended for anyone under the age of 18.
Kacey Hamford continues to bring readers a story chalked full of emotional drama, humorous scenes, intrigue and steamy sex. You do not have to read books 1 & 2 to read this one.

The Rocking series continues to be an excellent series. Every reader should have this series on their e-reader.
WOW just Wow!! I couldn't wait for this book and finished it in a very short time. Once again Kacey has given us an outstanding book which has romance. comedy and suspense!! With each book I'm hooked and I honestly can't read them fast enough to find out what's happening next.
I for one can not wait for book number 4, who knows where this series will go next. Well done Kacey.
Mary's story is explained more in this book. If you thought she was happy go lucky, then Yuri our need yo dig deeper. Marcy is a drama whirlwind that follows her everywhere and often into her friends lives too.
I love her relationship with Rick, there's no denying they are destined to be together.
I love Marcy and Rick -these two make my heart melt. They are so amazing and true to each other. Their love is something fierce!! I love reading Their story and look forward to more. This author is by far amazing and she just draws you into their story ...the for sharing !!!
This is another one of those books that is going to grab you by the heart. You are going to love this amazing adventure. I can't wait to see what comes next for the group.
This story gives Marcy’s background and we know why she behaved the way she did before Rickthen gives us a big chunk of their relationship. There are some highs and some devastating lows before the cliffhanger ending.
Loved this book. Seeing things from Marcy's POV. But also getting some back history on her. Plus seeing how Marcy and Rick's relationship grows. The journey is bumpy but worth it.
Rocking Marcy (Rocking Series #3) by Kacey Hamford
2 Stars
I just don’t get it, normally if you begin a series that has potential but clearly needs work, by the time you get to book three the author has usually grown in their writing and stopped making the newbie mistakes, like unnatural dialogue, and choppy writing. That hasn’t happened here, and though the story began quite interesting it has dropped off the mark and is failing to keep me engaged.
Marcy was a large character in Esme’s story (Books one and two) she met Rick and started to go out with him joining them on tour etc. so when book three began telling Marcy’s story but the timeline started earlier than book one, then overlapped book one it just felt odd and in parts repetitive.
I’m also confused about the setting, what country are we in? It isn’t made clear, which makes it difficult to build a picture or even give the characters a voice, it has the feel of America, going on tour for eight weeks and the girls needing to go with them because they’d miss them, gives the impression the tour will take them so far away visit’s would be impossible (If they were touring the UK the girls could travel to see them every weekend without much difficulty, it’s a very small island!) but the author is English and throughout the series has used some very English phrases. At one point, I can’t remember which book, she referred to their evening meal as there ‘tea’, that’s fine for me, I’m English and know we say breakfast/dinner/tea, was this because the book is based in the UK or because the author is from the UK and didn’t think to Americanise it? I don’t know I’m just very confused, and quickly losing interest in the series!
I was gifted a copy in exchange for an honest review. This series keeps getting better. I have fallen in love with all the characters since book one. I couldn't put down this book its full of drama, angst and some suspense. Yes there is some light hearted moments thru out as well. With this book we really get to see the relationship between Marcy and Rick who are Esme and Jackson best friends. I thought Esme had her fair share of drama but Marcys takes the cake. Ends with a cliffhanger so I'm looking forward to reading book four.
Oh I could not imagine the like of a rock stars girlfriend... I also could not imagine the parents that Marcy has to deal with ... This story follows Marcys life for a bit the ups the downs .. There is some steamy sex scenes and romance, heart break, stocking, death .... A bit of everything to keep you on you toes
The writing was just not good and the main characters seemed like they only had sex in common. Marcy giggled for EVERYTHING. This was supposed to be a romance book and I swear by chapter three this girl had slept with about 3 men, and none of them was our hero. I did not like her. Rick was not bad, he was somewhat sweet and charming.
I am really loving this series. You will experience all kind's of emotions reading Marcy's story. Love how Rick is her rock through everything, you can feel the strong love/connection between the two. This book ends on a cliff hanger so make sure you have Rocking Ashton on standby.
I couldn’t put Marcy and Rick’s story down. This series is amazing and I’m loving every story so far. Highly recommend as a must read now on to book four.
