She lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her loving husband and is currently working on her next fun, flirty and sexy romance.
This was an explosive journey between two people who had a love hate relationship. Candace weaved a romance so entertaining and fiery that u felt the fire jumping off the pages. Good read
What an awesome love story that existed between Bryce and Sydney!!! Although they met 5 years earlier, sparks of love ignited then, even though neither one knew, especially Sydney! Once fate, not to mention a family member, brought them together for Valentine's Day unexpectedly, they begin to see each other in a different light, and once the trip to Vegas was on, they acted on those sparks to create one helluva love story! A must read!
Love the storyline from beginning to end. I love the cute banter between the two adventurous souls. I like how when attracted to someone, on some occasions we pretend that we can't get along with them, but the chemistry tells a different story. Syd and Bruce demonstrates that very well on their journey of discovery. What a sensual, sexy, fun and enjoyable journey it was for me. Great Read ! ReneeG
Syd and Bryce had a bit of an enemies to lovers thing going. He lied at the hospital and said he was her husband then kissed her so she wouldn't tell the nurses the truth. They had an interesting story. Things heated up between them on a road trip to Vegas. What happened in Vegas was supposed to stay in Vegas but these two can't keep their hands off each other. I enjoyed this story a lot.
Bryce and Sydney’s story was awesome. I couldn’t the book down because i need to know how their story would end. Their passion for each other was jumping off the pages. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. Kudos to Candace Shaw.
An enjoyable enemies-to-lovers romance between a Georgia Bureau of Investigation agent and a high-profile defense attorney set in Atlanta, but the sex writing veered into the silly at times.
There’s nothing like an opposites attracts romance. Bryce is amazing – successful, intelligent, cultured, super confident, sexy, and rich (of course I have to mention this), but he also has this compassionate, giving side to him that Sydney never knew existed. And when she finds out what lies behind the hard lawyer she thought he was, she melts.
Sydney is trying to figure out what she wants in life, which can be difficult, but when temptation is thrown her way it (or rather he) compounds the issue.
The motorcycle aspect interested me. I’m a fan of the machines so I got into the rides they took. Bryce was a very naughty man on one of the rides, but I won’t spoil that particular journey for you.
Book three is in my Kindle queue and I'm looking forward to reading it.
I enjoyed this match for Sydney. You have to look beyond the surface and realize it's the heart that matters. The inter play between Sydney and Bryce was just what a fiery love story needs. You saw the inner conflict, the resolve and acceptance of emotions. That is always a plus when couples are ironing out their differences. The story was filled with the necessary elements to draw you in as a reader and look to see what happens next. I loved the shared passion over motorcycles and their respective law professionals. Good job Candace ready for the next installment.
Sydney and Bryon were explosive. The chemistry was evident from the hospital until the last page. Every time the two came into contact with each other, they didn't realize the animosity they had for each other was a cover for the passion they felt. They embark on a secret affair that one wants it to be more. Readers will love Sydney and Bryon's journey.
GBI criminal profiler, Sydney Chase and crimson Attorney, Bryce Monroe argue every time they see each other. His brother and her twin sister are married making family functions a little tense as they try to avoid each other. On a cross country trip to Las Vegas for a motorcycle fest, they end up in the same suite and get to know each other better.
Bryce and Sydney masked their attraction to each other through manufactured hate. All it took was an unexpected opportunity for them to test the waters. However, Sydney fought to deny that fire between her and Bryce every step of the way. It all comes full-circle in the end. A feel good romance.
This romance was like a firecracker waiting to be lit to explode into action. I enjoyed the way it was written such an easy flow to follow and it was not disappointing. It leaves the reader smiling.I will be looking for more books by this author.
"Shaw paints her characters as strong enough to go after what they want, yet weak enough to yield to temptation with little coaxing. This juxtaposition makes the tale endearing and pleasurable" (RT Book Reviews, 4 stars).
Sydney Chase and Attorney Bryce Monroe can't be with a foot of each other with out disagreeing over the smallest point and throwing at each other with their eyes. Read and enjoy what changes when they discover there love for motorcycles and wide open spaces.
I sincerely enjoyed the second book in this series, it was a great follow-up to the first book. I also enjoyed the characters in this book and the first book as the storylines intertwined. I can't wait for Book number three to become available.
