💟 This book took me on an emotional journey, blending grief, healing, and unexpected love in a way that felt deeply personal.
💟 Heidi and Emmett’s story had a rawness that made their bond feel real from the start. Their connection, built on shared loss, was written beautifully.
💟 Heidi's strength in navigating her own path while also being there for Emmett was inspiring. And Emmett—his quiet resilience and devotion to his daughter made him such a compelling character.
💟 The romance was a slow burn, but that only made their relationship feel more authentic. Watching them break down their walls and open up to each other was both heartbreaking and hopeful. The emotional depth in this book was its biggest strength, making me feel every struggle, every hesitation, and every moment of growth.
💟 That being said, some parts felt a little drawn out, and I wished the side characters had been explored more. There were moments when the pacing slowed down too much, slightly pulling me out of the story. But despite these minor issues, the way Anna Noel handled grief and healing with such sensitivity kept me hooked.
💟 If you're a fan of nanny/boss romance, slow-burn connections, and characters who help each other find hope again, this book is definitely worth picking up!
