good, solid doctrinal book on pastors. the brethren should read it to open up their eyes about pastors. solid. informational. written in early 20th century style. I enjoy learning new words and reading seldom used words, but it does take more attention on the part of the reader. anyway, it was good.

the call and duty of a pastor (of it can be rightly said that such an office is biblical) is simple...it does not include ear tickling or marketing...it does not include career counseling...Owen nails it in this little book.
