Do you need a pick me up, someone to tell you that you are fat and lazy, you don’t know how to dream or your dreams are not big enough, that you have no motivation and your whole life, the lives of the whole middle class have been wasted… that the reason you are poor and have not accomplished anything is because you don’t dream and have no desire or goals, no will power or plan of action no one to nag you or be on your goal setting team, well then this books is for you!
I'd say not much has changed since it's publication in 1984 - still all the golden rules apply. Downside of this book (or upside?) is that the Author pushed so many topics into one, like it would be the only book someone would read. A lot of lists on a lot of different fields. Definitely You can get some new perspective on something in Your life.
A good book, packed with short chapters that focus mostly on goal setting, focus, planning, direction, and attitude. Hopkins doesn't bring a ton new to the table - these are tried and true tactics - but the book is one of the easier to read and the short, straightforward chapters are much appreciated.

It is great to hear what you already know, and have some clear strategies on how best to implement the ideas.
It wasn't geared too much toward sales and was totally applicable to my profession.
Audiobook! One of my favorite trainers to study. Some quotes: "How's business? 'Unbelievable!' because that covers it either way! " "What's the best thing you can do when you are in a slump? PROSPECT! " "Listen to music first thing in the morning. " So much advice. I have seen 3 of his dvd's and 4 of his audiobooks. I found some books at a used book store recently I will tear into very soon, so let's look forward to that!
