A collection of chilling and haunting tales yet I was not chilled nor haunted (as they were adapted for TV, I wonder if they would have been better watched rather than read!)
The Werewolf Reunion was my favourite tale and it's this story that pushed my stars from 2 to 3!
I liked the inter-story parts about The Club of the Damned and think if there was more about the club I'd have enjoyed it more.
3 stars (better then 2 stars) but not as chilling or as imaginative as I hoped.
A very poorly written collection of ghost stories. Not one sent a shiver up my back and the subject matter was derivative in the extreme. Apparently it was a TV series in the 70s. Fortunately, I got this for 50p from a charity shop. I wouldn't recommend this collection to anyone.
