For a memoir (which I usually do not like) this proved very interesting. It took me a long time to finish because it was my fill in book. ie: Finished a book and don't have time today to get into anything new.

Mr Bok lead a very interesting life. His insights into the thinking of his time are outstanding. I felt, as I was reading, that this truly was a legacy to his descendants that he chose to share with the world.

Each chapter left me thinking about something. Because of this I pretty much read it one chapter at a time. We need more books that stir our thoughts.
