AWESOME. *deep sigh*
Wincest with Dean and Sam as dragon riders of Pern. Pern geeks, take the first three stories (Dragonflight, Dragonquest, and The White Dragon) smash them together and you've got this tasty tidbit. Seriously, it could have been longer *whines*. Still awesome.
Dean's dragon is named IMPALATH!
Since Pern is my first planet of choice to live on I'm probably rating this a bit higher than others.

Still not my favorite pairing, but I'm such a sucker for the setting, and the dragons that I couldn't help by really like it. Reminds me of why I liked the Pern books so much when I was young.

I bloody well loved this. Only thing I didn't like: that is wasn't like 300 pages long so i could just roll around in this awesomeness for a lot longer.
How could you not like Pern with Sam and Dean? You just have to, them the rules! And Sam and Dean, together together? Yummy.
Honestly the most wonderful crossover in the history of crossovers.
But now I have the sudden urge to go borrow all the Pern books from the library because I miss Pern. :(
