Leo Kessler (or Charles Whiting, or Duncan Harding or K.N. Kostov or whatever) is the premier writer of war fiction trash, a poor man's Alistair McLean or Sven Hassel. His novels usually deal with a league of outcasts during the second World War, how take on suicide missions. I find his novels inferior compaired to the writers i mentioned before, they do not have any literature worth, however they are quite entertaining: Should anyone be interested in exploitation cinema, with graphic violence and caricature characters (sadists, degenarates, brutal, amoral men-beasts), then he should read a couple of Kessler stuff. Otherwise there are much more seriours novels outhere.
