I was born with the desire to keep everything. I wanted to preserve, to not let things fade away. This applied to the stories I wrote, my Halloween candy, and even the small moments of life that ticked away with the clock. The bad guy was mortality—a foe with an infinite ability to make things slip away. ON THE CLOUD, PERHAPS explores this desire to keep things and searches for an end to the conflict.
