interesting...

I'm not completely sure what I think of this, nor would I recommend this to just anyone. This book is pretty sick and twisted but no doubt will leave you aching for the people who tell these events.

This book leaves me with one question.

Why are the mother and son not getting help to rid themselves of this demon(s)? Sure they are putting their story out there to find others it has happened to but over and over they went to Lisa's mother rather than to clergy for an exorcism.

I am okay with the vulgar language as I would also be using this language if this stuff was happening to me. Also people are different everywhere, some use vulgar language and some do not. It may be about class or even choice. For instance the first day I sat in college and my professor said the f word I was shocked. Then I came to realize it is just another word. It can be used for emphasis , for dramatic effect or just because sometimes it feels good to just say it to blow off steam. I appreciate all words and that I have free will to use them.

The story flow along quickly and is a page turner. There are some places where an editor is needed but I would still say it is worth reading. I like the way the author tells the viewpoint of all people involved in this case.

Whether the reader believes this case or not, one thing is certain, I would not wish this to happen to me or anyone I know. Overall this was worth reading and I would recommend it to anyone interested in the paranormal.

I love everything paranormal from fiction to real life. I’ve seen plenty of documentaries and films based on true stories. Some accounts I’ve felt too far fetched (talking about programmes not this book) and thought “really!” But you never what’s true or not. Not until you’ve experienced it yourself can you honestly say “it wasn’t that bad” or “ I was never frightened”. A recommended read for all fans.

Wow. I mean, I'm a very skeptical woman, but this book scared me a lot, especially at night. I don't know if Lisa's ordeal was real or not, but this is a very interesting story to read.

Due to the title you have some sort of an inkling as to what this book is about. Some of it was more graphic then I expected. The book itself makes you wonder...

Ghost Sex The Violation by G.L. Davies

A disturbing revelation of the ilk of The Entity, complete with the subject being a single mother, who claimed to have been attacked while drunk by an ethereal entity. The similarities do not end there but that is for the reader to determine for themselves.

Personally, after the description of the claimed second attack I was so repulsed that I decided to refrain from reading on any further. This is the first time as an adult I have ever decided not to continue on until the end.

The descriptions in the book are nightmarish, vulgar and profane in the extreme and the language used to describe the assaults that the victim believes happened are beyond lewd and lascivious. In short, it is a disturbing account regardless of weather or not it is a true and the psychological effect on the child cannot be underestimated.

If you liked The Entity you will probably find this of interest, but be warned it is not for the feint of heart or those of a sensitive disposition. You have been warned.

Truly terrifyIng.

4 Stars for the author, Mr. Davies, 5 for his work as a whole. It could have used a tad more editing, but the story and the people involved is quite chilling. It's the most believable paranormal study I have ever read, horror is pretty much my main literary diet. I've always been a sceptic and it's just for entertainment value. So I'm a little twisted, most horror fans are I believe. Mr. Davies has presented this poor woman's account in such a way, it rings true. I read the book he refers to that is similar accounting, that claimed to be true back in the 70's, but was not convinced.
Now I'm ready, I just need to see something first hand. If this is actually true, (non-fiction),,,,condolences to the family, and kudos to the researcher. I will definitely read A Most Haunted House. Keep up the good work. Thank you.

Fantastic

Fantastic

This book is superbly done and unlike others I have read on the subject. I love the way the case is put forth as a series of interviews as it helps you become invested both in the accounts and the people telling them. Most books regarding paranormal activity that are written by investigators just basically give you the story and then say we did this investigation and this is what we found whereas this one left you to decide for yourself as to the validity of the story. I will be recommending this book to everyone I know with an interest in this subject and also be checking out the website. I have always been a firm believer in the afterlife and have had many experiences myself thank God none have ever been like theses.

This was the most chilling novel I have read in some time. It is a very honest and brutal account of a haunting that turns into a sexual assault. You are compelled to read on but at the same time I was anxious to what violation would happen next. This is not a book for those with conservative views and opinions. This is not ghost porn or a middle of the road haunting, this is a very serious and chilling account and the interviewer presents you with some idea's on what could be causing the perceived events and leaves you the reader to decide. Plus there is some bonus chapters on other cases he has investigated. An important novel for all those interested in the paranormal to read. A great follow up to a most haunted house. Not for the faint of heart!!!

I really don't know what to say about this story! Except I do feel the need to comment on such a controversial subject. I suppose I am on the fence, with regard to whether the most awful violations did occur to 'Lisa.' I certainly hope that what 'Lisa' believes to be the cause is really not! If so, it could happen to any one of us & that's what's really scary! It does disturb me that 'Lisa' has accepted this as her reality for the rest of her life. I don't believe that she has tried hard enough to find out what or how to stop this. I know it must be a painful story to share but honestly I would travel far & wide to try & put an end to this..if indeed 'Lisa' really does want it to end & towards the end of the story, I am not quite sure...

Shocking and thought provoking

It is interesting how different paranormal experiences, both positive and negative, are perceived by those who experience such encounters. This is a good read where both pleasurable and non-pleasurable sexual encounters are experienced by one woman. Her ordeal of coping and affects on her personal life really pulls at your heart. I have read positive experiences that women and men actually enjoy in ghost encounters. This read however is the darker side of what one could experience.

Well this book wasn't what I was expecting! It is a true account of a woman being sexually assaulted regularly by a ghost/spirit and is very explicit and "to the point". This may put some readers off, but if you can overcome the choice of wording, it's very much well worth a read. Not only is this book spine chilling and terrifying, it's also thought and emotion provoking. Well worth 5 HUGE stars!

Disturbing, heart-breaking

I read these types of stories all the time, but never have I been so truly affected by them. Nothing I have ever read before has done that, even when told in similar fashion. Lisa-my heart goes out to you. I apologize, but I hope to never experience the same thing-I could never brave enough to continue on like you have. I sincerely hope that one day it will stop for you and that you will have peace.
