E-Cubed: Nine More Energy Experiments That Prove Manifesting Magic and Miracles is Your Full-Time Gig

Rate this book
E-Squared, the international hit sensation described by one reader as "The Secret on crack," provided the training wheels, the baby steps, to "really getting it" that thoughts create reality. In E-Cubed (don’t worry—there will never be E to the 27th Power), Pam Grout takes you higher and deeper into the quantum field, where you’ll prove that blessings and miracles are natural and that joy is only a thought away. With nine new experiments and more tips on how to keep the gates of the world’s largesse and abundance wide-open, this book is chock-full of incontrovertible evidence that the universe is just waiting for us to catch up, just waiting for us to begin using the energy that has always been available for our enjoyment and well-being.

Really enjoyed "E Squared" and this one too until the experiments got weird, i.e., sticking post-it notes onto random surfaces with love notes written on them, giving away $5 bills with love notes on them, and walking in nature.... after opting out of these three in a row, I felt that I got far enough into this....not that they wouldn't work, but for me it was time to put this one down.

Is your life a version of the movie “Groundhog Day”? In other words, do you keep living the same unpleasant experiences even though you are ready for an abundant, fulfilled, and joyful life?

We’ve all been there. We experience what we call reality with our senses, and our mind concludes that our current situation is “just the way things are.” We focus on what is wrong and thirst for what we lack. The result? We move farther away from what we desire.

E-Cubed, the new book by New York Times bestselling author Pam Grout, reminds us that we have the power to manifest the kind of life we want—even if “real” evidence points to something different.

E-Squared, Pam’s previous book, provides nine simple experiments to prove you are the creator of your own reality. Whether you love science or not, experimenting and testing is always fun. Pam was able to bring an element of fun and adventure to spirituality, and this is one of the reasons her book was a New York Times bestseller for weeks.

How is E-Cubed different from E-Squared? While E-Squared provides the fundamental principles to tap into our manifesting power, E-Cubed teaches us ways to establish a clear connection with this power.

E-Cubed shows us how to feel good.

When we feel good, we align with the energy to not only overcome obstacles, but avoid them altogether.

When we feel good, we remove our attention from memes (beliefs) that tell us our life has to continue being the way it has always been, or that something is too difficult to achieve. As Pam says, “Our 5,000 years of education on the reign of lack, limitation, and gloom has blinded us to the simple, unchanging goodness that’s forever on our side.”

Pam contrasts these memes to a new view of life: “Worldview 2.0.” In this updated version of our world, everything is possible.

The memes and their corresponding Worldview 2.0 versions are:

“The world is a menacing place” vs. “There is nothing to fear.”

“Life happens to me” vs. “Life emanates from me.”

“Events happen; therefore, I feel bad” vs. “Without this training, joy is my natural state.”

“God is an entity outside of me” vs. “God is a state of being, a loving energy that flows through me, sustains me, and surrounds me with light.”

“My job is to judge between right and wrong, black and white” vs. “My job us to create, not to critique.”

“I think, therefore I am” vs. “What I think for the most part is irrelevant.”

“No pain, no gain” vs. “There is no reason to struggle.”

“It’s important to look at my faults, to name my problems, and to strive to improve” vs. “I already have everything I could ever want or need.”

“It’s me and you (and I’m not sure about you) against the world” vs. “”The universe has my back and is constantly sending me blessings, gifts, signs, and guidance.”

“I have to do everything myself” vs. “The only thing I have to do is follow my joy.”

“I have to change. I’m scared to change. It’s hard to change” vs. “I can flip whatever I believe at any moment.”

“I have to try really hard to be good enough” vs. “My worthiness is not at stake.”

The teachings in this book, while spiritual, are also grounded in scientific reality. Quantum physics explains that the physical nature of particles changes depending on who perceives them, and this can be translated as, “Our thoughts create our reality.”

If you are ready to feel good and start designing your life the way you want it, read E-Squared and follow by reading E-Cubed. And remember, as Pam wisely says,

“The way I see it, there are just two things we need to know:

The universe has our back.

Everything is going to turn out okay.”

From the very beginning of ‘E-cubed’, literally the first page of the first chapter, the reader gets the distinct impression that this book will be a lot of fun to read and it will certainly turn our “static” views of the world, indeed the very way we see the world, on its head (no, I won’t say specifically what the author, Pam Grout, does - that would spoil the fun).

In ‘E-cubed’ Pam Grout continues from her previous book, ‘E- squared’ with “..nine new experiments and more tips on how to keep the gates of the world’s largess and abundance wide-open..” The experiments are easily understood, simple to implement and won’t cost the reader a thing, other than the loss of old belief systems.

The central idea behind all of the experiments is to demonstrate that our traditional views and beliefs systems can be very limiting and by expanding our awareness into the quantum field, or the field of potentiality (abbreviated as FP in the book), we can make use of latent, universal powers to help create a better reality for ourselves and for the world as a whole.

When we recognize “The fact that your thoughts are energy waves being broadcast out into this giant field of infinite potentiality is something you should be aware of and deploying on a moment-by-moment basis” we can break free from the traditional ‘memes’ in which we have predominantly lived our lives. For those that are not aware, dictionaries define a ‘meme’ as, “An element of a culture or system of behavior that may be considered to be passed from one individual to another by nongenetic means, especially imitation” or “An idea, behavior, style, or usage that spreads from person to person within a culture.” The nine memes that are discussed in E-cubed are then associated with the nine experiments (funny how that worked =;0) and the reader is encouraged to see that our reality can actually change when we overcome our memes.

Regardless of the results we obtain from each individual experiment, and judging from the huge success of the experiments from the first book I expect the positive responses from readers of this book will also be equally amazing, my main take-away from this book is that we don’t have to stay victims of our past or be limited by our social programming. By moving from the conditioned memes to ‘Worldview 2.0’, as Pam refers to it, we start to realize our real potential.

Although readers of other books in this genre will recognize some familiar themes: the power of gratitude, the interconnectedness of all things in the universe, the importance of happiness and, perhaps the most important idea, that thoughts are things and create our reality, I can say that Pam shares these concepts with an unparalleled sense of humour. Indeed, I have yet to find any book in the self-empowerment/self-help/personal awareness genre that was as fun to read as ‘E-cubed.’

I'm really not sure why a book of basic Improve Your Life suggestions is dressed up as some sort of cosmic insight. It offers such suggestions as 'watch less TV and go outside and be with nature' and 'pick up pennies you find on the ground and consider it good luck'.

Seriously.

And this isn't revelatory. Stuffy scientists in their boring labs have actually quantified that being outside in nature is good for our mental health. There are dozens of books out their just on the topic of Being Grateful, though the science on that is slimmer. 'Making your own placebo' is rarely suggested outside this book, but the science is that placebos work, even when the person taking them knows it's a placebo.

So, in short, this book is about 20 pages of useful (though vague and unoriginal) suggestions, dressed up in 200 more pages of psychobabble, out-of-context quotes from scientists, quotes from life coaches and a shaman and other manifesters, and utterly unbelievable 'success' stories from the author's devotees. (I'm not saying it's untrue that some guy randomly got a $10,000 check from a catholic priest, i'm just saying that random stuff happens every day.)

To go on further: of course some of the author's devotees are going to stumble into piles of money or their dream job or whatever. That happens to people every day, and some of them are bound to have read her first book. And when they do get exactly what they want, of course they're going to contact the author and recount the whole affair. What's missing, of course, is any sort of control. How many non-devotees randomly got $10,000, or their dream job, or free tickets to Hawaii? And even more relevant, how many devotees lost their house in the economic downturn, or their job, or got into a car accident that wasn't their fault? Do you think they wrote to the author to complain? If they did, do you suppose she'd include those 'failure stories' in her book? Nope.

The risk in books like this is that they tell you to take credit for your own good luck, with the often unstated corollary that if good luck is your doing, bad luck must be too. If you get cancer or your dog gets run over by a car, you clearly weren't 'manifesting' hard enough. If only you'd been better at it, maybe your dog would still be alive.

So absolutely go outside and take a walk instead of watching that reality show rerun. I can't really recommend offering free hugs, but slipping nice notes into books at the library or taping $5 bills to park benches will probably make you feel like you're doing good things. But when you break your toe on the dang coffee table, remember, it's because you're clumsy, not because the universe is mad at you.

After reading E-squared and most of experiments worked ,I became excited to read E-cubed to try more fun experiments and see if they work
I was speechless when two experiences From the book worked and I was like OMG! This stuff for real .FP exists and it works Yayyyyyy :$
The first experiment "The Boogie-Woogie Corollary" ,I woke up every day and I set my intention at the beginning of the day that this day is going to be amazingly awesome and then I listened to my list of happy songs and it hit me ,Happiness is choice and joy is really my natural state .I would dance and jump up and down .The more happy I became ,The more i attracted positive events and things and my days following this experience turned out to be So amazingly awesome just like I expected!
The other experiment about money "Your New B.F.F. Corollary" ,I was expecting to find an Egyptian pound and I found it rolling on the floor ,such a dramatic effect like The FP was telling here's what you were looking for and I became so excited .Now I become like 100% sure that my thoughts are creating my reality that What I focus on and expect is what I attract ,So I decided from now on to think only positive thoughts ,to see the goodness in the world and focus upon it ,to feel good and happy every single day to choose actually to be happy no matter what and be grateful for everything I have and see the abundance of life instead of focusing on lack
We are really powerful beyond our imagination ,we got the power to create anything out of thin air ,This universe is Energy based and manifesting our desires is just a piece of cake ,we just have to use our thoughts and feelings to work for us instead of using them against us!
I recommend this book for Everyone and really doing the experiments mentioned in the book is so much fun and you would be so excited when you see real evidence that your thoughts create your own reality ,Isn't that Awesome?

This book is a follow-up to her über popular ebook from last year called E-Squared. I have also read that and found it equally as awesome as this book was and is.

This book makes you take these experiments seriously. Each one takes a commitment of time. And I would suggest you at least try one of them because you can't seriously see how amazing this is if you don't put in the time and effort.

One of the first experiments I got results on was to get a message from a butterfly. I think the experiment was to see a certain color of butterfly but I wanted to make it interesting. Less than a day went by and someone posted on my Facebook feed about a large amount of butterflies leaving such a huge impact that they looked like a storm in doppler radar. I spoke about this in one of my YouTube videos and I then pulled a card that not only had a butterfly on it but it also had a message that related to yet another experiment Pam Grout had posed. I got two for one on that one. And then someone posted a comment to my video saying that my mentioning of the butterflies looking like a storm on doppler radar was a sign to her! How awesome is that?

This book makes you realize exactly how powerful you can be if you direct your mind in these unique ways and focus on what you want to manifest instead of complaining about what you don't have.

Become a manifesting superfreak like me. Come on, I know you want to!

I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking to manifest wonderful experiences into their lives.

5 Stars. Yes, it is "that" amazing!

I received this book as an ARC (Advanced Reader Copy) from Net Galley in return for an honest review. I thank Net Galley, the author and the publisher for allowing me to read this title.

Pam Grout takes E-Squared to the next level in E-Cubed! It's a wonderful thing to realize you are completely in charge of your life, and you can influence outcomes and then enjoy living life in a state of positive expectation. If you loved E-Cubed, you'll love this book. If you haven't read either book, you're in for a treat. Get them both, read and re-read them, and then sit back and watch the magic and miracles flow in!

This was a fun trip but I don't think it reached the genius of her first foray into energy experimentation- E-Squared. If you have to pick between her first book or her second, chose the first.

Still, for the New Age reader, this has some fun suggestions for playing in the FP (field of possibilities). If you like A Course in Miracles, E-Squared, or The Secret, you will probably need to make room on your shelf for E-Cubed.

As a follow up to Pam Grout's book E-Squared I thought it was just as good, and the experiments a lot of fun. She writes with humour which I loved.
I hope she keeps writing these types of books.

Having previously read E-Squared, and loving the way Pam writes and her sense of humor throughout, it was a slam-dunk that I would read this follow-up. In keeping with the value of the first book, the second goes a little deeper and I enjoyed it very much. In this particular case, and it is something I've been doing lately, I buy the audio (Pam reading it) and the Kindle version and read as she reads to me.

This is Pam Grout´s brilliant sequel to her best seller “E-squared”.

The book is both totally inspiring and exquisitely humorous. Pam has her own unique, humorous writing style.

There´s a preliminary section, and one with various experiments, as in Pam´s previous book.

She presents us with a new Worldview (Worldview 2.0), the two main principles of which are as follows:

1) The energetic world, the world you can´t see, touch or smell, is the foundation on which all else rests.
2) Everybody gets a happy ending.

We´re reminded that the very act of observation is an act of creation.

Each experiment chapter gives us a Meme followed by Worldview 2.0. (A meme is an accepted belief that spreads like a virus.) For example, Meme: The world is a menacing place. Worldview 2.0: There is nothing to fear. Meme: Life happens to me. Worldview 2.0: Life emanates from me. Meme: God is an entity outside of me. Worldview 2.0: God is a state of being, a loving energy that flows through me, sustains me, and surrounds me with light.

You get the picture.

Many people found that Pam´s experiments in “E-squared” worked for them, and blessings and miracles occurred. What we need to do is look the other way, focus on the good stuff, and it will appear.

There are nine experiments, Each teaches us how to change our reality by changing our thoughts/beliefs.

Experiment 4 is The “I´m loving and I know it” corollary (or there is no “them”). Worldview 2.0 is Being in Love with Everyone and Everything Brings me into Alignment with the FP (field of infinite potentiality). We´re asked to be a love bomber, and also appreciate the world´s most annoying person.

We´re asked: is it possible that all people (and situations and events ----) I can´t stand are blessing me with opportunities to grow? The hypothesis is that “the more love I generate, the more I`ll be in alignment with the field of infinite potentiality”.

Pam states that money is nothing but energy and a reflection of our beliefs. Money isn´t real. It´s an energy that forms around your thoughts. “The world seen clearly without the lens of lack and limitations is wildly abundant.” There is no shortage of anything. Everything you really need is already provided. It is only an illusory belief in limitation that keeps our riches away.

We are reminded of the power of our words and exhorted to drop the negative chit-chat. By actively monitoring our words, we will notice a change in what shows up in our lives.

Meme: Life sucks and then you die. Worldview 2.0: Life is miraculous and I can´t really die.

The book is actually a guide to raising your vibration and to enlightenment. After reading it, I feel that my world is transformed, or at least I have all the keys to transforming it. I feel better! It is a miraculous world, and I can make it even more miraculous.

My only gripe is Pam´s continued and widespread use of (for me) incomprehensible abbreviations e.g. PDA, BFF, SO, TGIF, etc. The only two she defines is FP (field of potentiality) and BS (not what you think, but “belief system”).

The book is crammed with inspiring quotes and stories, and the reader is thus enabled to find further books on similar subjects.

This book will probably change your life if you absorb even just a little of its content. I highly recommend it.

The most amazing book I've read so far

I definitely suggest this book! It is transcendental! I love reading and this book stole my heart. I am sooo grateful that Pam Grout put her words out there and shared her ideas on how she sees the universe and believes in the human power to make this world a better place for all of us. We have more power than we imagine. Let's learn to use it wisely and this is the perfect book to do so. (This one and E-squared)
I love this book and I really expect miracles in my life. That is the way we are supposed to live, because love is our true nature.
Love to all! :)

I'm reading it again. It was uplifting, energizing and amusing. In fact, I try reading a few pages daily as motivation and as a way to think differently. It is a book that is genuinely interested in transforming human consciousness, away from negative, fatalistic thinking. All of the philosophy runs in parallel to my other studies in yoga and quantum field science. I will continue to enjoy and be inspired by it, continuing my own experiments in the same way.

It just doesn’t get to the point I forgot whatever it was through all the bragging.

This is someone’s idea of their perception of what your life should be like m using a tongue & cheek delivery that can easily lose you along the way never getting to any substance... And you just put the book down.

I consider Pam a great teacher through her writing and experiments. The extension(this book) of E2 continues to lead me down the road of "awe-wonder" of Quantum Physics.
PLAY = do the experiments & be open to the Field of Potential...and let the experiments knock your socks off.
Or not. Your choice.
and my choice is........LET'S PLAY UNIVERSE. :)

This is a successor to the popular Esquared book and is follows a similar and familiar experiment process to understand and experiment with the LOA but for higher purposes. The author has given a series of 9 experiments that you can be done over the 3 weeks and some of the experiments can be weird (posting $1 bill with post-it notes. The author has a wacky style of writing but I enjoy it but your mileage may vary.

A continuation of E Squared, Pam Grout offers more energy experiments to improve your perspective on life.
Her oozing positivity is infectious, leading a reader to have a more positive outlook regardless of whether or not the experiments are attempted/executed.
Having read E Squared, the wow factor was a little stale, but still highly recommend it for anyone wanting more after the first book.

Not as effective for me as E-Squared was. This was plays much more with your mindset and beliefs rather than specific, tangible experiments, but I enjoyed it all the same.

This book, and E-Squared have changed my life, and I'll probably be rereading these again and again where it all started-on the treadmill.
