After losing Terrence, her first love, to an illness, Shay begins to believe that she can't fall in love again. She holds on to a sketch of Terrence's best friend, "Nathan" and looks for him just as she had promised Terrence.
Much to her surprise, she meets "Nathan" when she enters her new school, Trinity High. But "Nathan" introduces himself as Jiroh and denies knowing anyone named Terrence. Thus begins the story of Shay and Jiroh, a boy whose past is inexplicably tied to her own and whose present offers a possibility of a new love. "I'm another 'what if, Shay," Jiroh says.
Will Shay let herself fall in love again or will she hold on to her past with Terrence? Can one really move on from one's first love?

I just finished reading it and I am still crying while typing this. I miss Terrence so much.
At first, I was thinking, "It seems so fast." Yes, I know Terrence will stay in Shay's heart forever . But I did not expect her to let go that early. Maybe, it was for the story line.
But overall, I have always been in love with A Place In Time Series. And I will remember the teachings in my entire life. I will always remember a fictional guy named Terrence Kelvin Quintero made a way into my heart and got stuck. I will always be inspired by a fictional girl named Shaylie Jimenez. And I will always admire a boy named Joseph Jiroh Anderson. And of course, Tjay Quintero for being so strong.
And last but not the least, I will forever adore Jessica Concha for writing such beautiful stories.
I want to share my favorite scenes but I don't wanna be a spoiler so I better shut up. Lol.
This is the first book that made me cry on its very first page. This is one of the best. Kudos to Ms. Jessica Concha!
