Four lovely Christmas memories are recalled by the author: his father coming home for Christmas on military leave; receiving a Lionel train for Christmas; being the narrator for the church’s Christmas pageant; and collecting a hand-carved crèche over many years. And there are a couple of other stories thrown in, too. A good Christmas book to cozy up with!

A very cozy read about childhood, connections, and Christmas traditions. Light and easy-to-read, it was the perfect company while strolling around and lounging in the city's hole-in-the-wall shops.
