The only thing Bennett wanted to do was deliver the stallion and get the rest of his money. If it were only that simple. The man who bought the horse from him is dead, and now he must deal with his beautiful daughter, who has bigger things to worry about besides not having the money to pay him. People are trying to take her ranch away. Lucky for her, Bennett showed up just in time.
It was pointed out I’d made a mistake in my review. This prompted me to do a quick re-read. I really enjoyed it the second time as well.
Original review 3*
Nice little read.
This is a short book, well I suppose at 35 pages it's not really a book but it felt longer, it's a nice clean easy romantic western, it's a complete story no cliffhanger. Bennett and his friend Adam are delivering a palomino, it's half paid for the balance is due on delivery but they discover that the man who bought the horse is dead and something just doesn't seem right. I enjoyed this book it has nice characters and while there's a few discrepancies like the barn burnt down but they're sleeping in the barn, it's nothing major. Now while this is a complete book it's still only 35 pages so there's not a lot of background or development but if you're looking for a quick little read this is worth a try.
