For as long as I can remember, I would pick up any book I found lying around the house, including novels assigned to my older brother. This led me to reading books such as "Animal Farm", "To Kill a Mockingbird" and "The Hobbit".

In High school, I discovered Mark Twain, Edgar Allen Poe, Douglas Adams and Stephen King. But it was also in high school where I discovered my passion for writing. From that point on, I couldn't get enough of it, immersing myself in any writing class or writing club that was available to me. This continued up until I graduated college and became a teacher. I got married and started a family and my passion became dormant.

Thankfully, I have an amazing husband who encouraged me to write a story that had been in my head since high school. This became "Future Tense". At the time I was writing this, someone asked me to write a short story about a vampire. One story became three and soon I had "Pleasant Journey". I recently completed the first part of a story that I had come up with years ago but finally got to writing it.

I've have just started this journey and I'm really looking forward to sharing it.
