Indelible Love #4.5

Unyielding Love - Nick & Bee's Story Vol. 2

Two strong, two independent, and two stubborn characters are bound to clash every step of the way. Keeping and maintaining a relationship for Nick and Bee hasn't been easy. Though the loving part came naturally, all the circumstances of life kept them from enjoying one another.

When we last saw Nick in volume one, he was still dating Lily, still unsure about his feelings for Bee, and contemplating a major career decision. When Bee injures herself and calls the only man who matters in her life, Nick morphs into the hero that we all knew lived deep within. Though dating one another is still no walk in the park, with Bee by his side, Nick finds direction and confidence in his actions.

When we last saw Bee, she was spending time with a wonderful Spaniard, had opened up a design warehouse, and was living out her life without the man she truly loved. Rather than lamenting what couldn't be, she strived to fulfill her professional dreams. When a freak accident forces Bee to admit her feelings to the only man she loves, her life and his life, finally merge into one.

Do they eventually find their happily ever after? Do they get married? How do the other Reids complicate and help their lives? It's all here in the final installment of Nick and Bee's Story. Written, once again, in blog format, this volume captures the dynamics of Nick and Bee as a couple and their interactions with the Reids, Taylors, and Davises.

Read what might be the final blog installment of the Indelible Love series. Between all the drama on the cul-de-sac, the epilogue that will only appear in this book, and the first chapter of Indelible Lovin' - Max & Jane's Wedding, you'll be entertained for hours!

I started writing back in Dec of 2009 after I saw an interview with Stephenie Meyers. She told Oprah that she always had stories in her head and that struck a chord with me. Whenever I drive, I have all kinds of stories circulating in my mind. Generally, I am the star of this story and many wacky things happen. Of course, I make the story quite complimentary and beneficial to me. I guess you could say Meyers channeled my head case into a novel.

I am first a wife and a mother, as well as a restauranteur and a caterer. Writing is my last profession and a late-found one. I have a B.A. and an M.Ed from UCLA (yes, just like Emily) and taught 1st grade for four years till I had my first child, a son. Two years later, I had my daughter and the two kids ran my life till they both started school. My husband and I opened a restaurant in LA when we first got married and have been in the food service industry for almost 17 years.

I think I’ve always been a foodie at heart and though it sounds strange, loving food did not have anything to do with opening up a restaurant. That was all my husband’s idea. I didn’t even know I could cook till I got married. And then I discovered, I love cooking! I love everything related to food. Eating, first, cooking second, cleaning a definite last. I could do without the cleaning from the prep work and the mound of dishes created after a meal. But, that’s a whole other blog in and of itself. Whenever we plan a family trip, and especially when my husband and I go on a couple’s trip, it’s based around what we want to eat, or which restaurants we want to visit. Hubby and I did a trip to Austin one summer just to eat BBQ. The trip to Rome was for pasta, Tokyo was for ramen and sushi, and in Paris, we gorged on treats from all the beautiful patisseries. The two best meals of my life were at Taillevent and Joel Robuchon in Paris (I am amending this last sentence as I think the best meal of my life was the one I recently had at Masa in NYC). All of these places and restaurants sound familiar? :) NYC is our favorite city (and yes, Emily’s favorite city as well) for dining. But… I digress.

Even with the crazy schedule, I hope to keep writing. Entwined, my third novel, is out on Amazon and Smashwords, iBooks, Nook, and Kobo. And for those of you who have been with me from the beginning know that Indelible Lovin’ – Max & Jane’s Story is done and also sold at the e-retailers listed above, in two volumes. I am currently working on another story titled, Unlikely Attraction, as well as another Indelible Lovin’ blog story. I hope to see many more Reiders come Dec. 2013, when the new blog is unveiled.

Thank you for visiting my website and I am truly humbled and grateful for the outpouring of love Indelible Love and Entwined have received. Check back for updates on my writings, travels, and everything Reid/Taylor/Davis.

Okay DW Blog fans, we finally get the conclusion to this much followed, much loved and often frustrating couple: Nick and Bee!!! DW has taken us on a roller coaster, angsty ride with these two; when one would wise up, the other was 2 steps behind, and the Big C (no not commitment, but Communication) was one of the many challenges (another C word) for these two. But true to her style, DW worked it all out in the end, giving this couple a sweet, picturesque and romantic ending that made me **sigh** and smile real big! I had my doubts about these two from the beginning, but over the course of their story, they captured my heart and I rooted for their success ever since; but boy, I'm telling you, this unyielding love took a tole on me, lol!!!

I have to confess, my favorite part was the sneak peek we get of Max and Jane's wedding coming later this summer. For us Reid/Taylor/Davis fans who have followed them from the beginning, this first chapter gives some really intriguing background of Jane's past that has never been revealed and was extremely interesting. I really can't wait for this one. If you are a fan of contemporary romance stories, you really need to get acquainted with this author's work, as she is one of my favs of this genre: she has endearing characters, interesting and complicated plot lines that gets you hooked, insightful attention to detail and wonderful trips abroad, and of course, romance that makes you swoon! She remains one of my favs, and I think that if given a chance, she will become one of yours as well! Happy Reiding and thanks DW for another wonderful addition to our Reid saga!

I wasn't sure that I was going to like how this story played out, but I love how DW gives the readers what they want. I like the blog style as well. There were times that I was screaming at my Kindle because I didn't like where the story was going, but I kept reading, hoping it changed course and it did. This family has so much to give, and when they love somebody, they just don't take no for an answer. And then there are these children that just make you laugh so hard, because of there language skills and just the way they act so mature. I think I have made my point that you will fall in love with this book and the others before. Thanks DW, you did an amazing job.

Nick and Bee are probably my least favorite couple in the series--probably just because they didn't play as large of a role in some of the other books so I didn't feel like I knew them as well. Nonetheless, I enjoyed reading their story and appreciated the very real insecurities they both held during their relationship. Their less-flashy courtship and relationship seemed very them and even hearing about their future in later books I feel that D.W. Cee stayed very true to these characters she created.

Another amazing story

D. W. you did it again! in the continuing story of the Reid, Davis, Taylor families you kept me captivated with Nick and Bee. I wasn't sure how it was going to go between two such stubborn souls. I have been captivated and mesmerized by these families since the first book. From Indelible Love -Emily's story to Nick and Bee 2 the stories have pulled me in and have me wanting more!
