I found this book to be very enlightening. I have always been an avid canner and in recent years have had the opportunity of being able to add a large freezer to my home so these two preserving techniques are not new to me. recent months I have been curious as to how to freeze dry and smoke meats. This book has definitely helped me to learn the basics of doing both. I would highly recommend this to anyone novice or semi pro.
