When Sabrina Newton is given the job opportunity of a lifetime, she jumps at it. She knows it will be challenging, but the uptight and ambitious A&R girl knows she can handle anything.

Even Nick Falcon.

Nick's been the biggest rock star on both sides of the pond for a decade. The spoiled British singer is beyond jaded and used to getting what he wants, whenever and wherever he wants it. But when Sabrina takes him on as a client, he finally meets his match. She arouses his senses beyond belief while butting heads with him on every detail. He can't tell if he wants to kiss her or kill her, or both. Nick finds the perfect revenge by forcing her to come along on his world tour. The label wouldn't want to lose their golden boy as a client after all.

Sabrina is whisked away into the glittering but gritty world of concert halls and five star hotels. Can she hold onto her heart when Nick shows her the real him?

Nick winked at the flight attendants who were riding out the turbulence in the bar section. He grabbed a bottle of tequila and two glasses. One of the girls scooped ice and a lime into each.

"Do me a favor love and tell the captain to take the bumps down a few notches."

She nodded and walked gracefully toward the cockpit despite the turbulence. He shook his head. They really were remarkable women. They hadn't revealed a thing about the past to Sabrina. He decided to give them all a raise.

Funny thing that, giving gorgeous women money for not sleeping with him.

He turned and walked back to the lounge area. Marley must be in the back taking a nap. He didn't mind. He knew he wouldn't be getting Sabrina into bed just yet.

Soon, though.

Very soon.

He smiled at her, even though she couldn't see him with her eyes so tightly closed. Time to start laying the groundwork.

"Here we are. Liquid courage."

Her eyes opened a crack. She stared at him sitting beside her then snapped her eyes shut again.

"I don't drink."

"There's a first time for everything."

He poured himself some tequila and sipped it, smacking his lips together.

"God that's good. I can already feel myself relaxing."

She opened her eyes again. The poor thing looked terrified. He really was a heel. He squashed down the voice of his conscience and smiled reassuringly.

"You know love, I'm a bit afraid of flying myself. Not to mention this is a new pilot."

"It is?"

"Yeah first time flying with him. I've never experienced this sort of turbulence before. It's a bit frightening. Even poor Marley had to take something and lie down."

"He did? Oh god. This is not good."

He smiled grimly and handed her the second glass, splashing a liberal dose of tequila into it. This time she took it, staring at it uncertainly.

Good girl.

"There you go. Bottoms up."

She lifted the glass to her lips and drank. He watched her as her face crinkled.

"It's strong."

"It's good medicine love. Here, have another splash."

He tipped the bottle into her glass, squeezing his lime into it. It cut the taste a bit. She stared at the glass in her hands and then lifted her eyes to his. He inhaled sharply at the trusting look in her eyes. He was going to hell, that much was certain.
But by God he'd enjoy the ride.

Slay Me got a sweet 4.5 star rating from me. I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review...and as much as I usually don't go for 'sweet' books as much as dark and gritty, I really really liked this story of a bad boy spoiled rock star and the woman who made him reconsider his lifestyle.
Nick Falcon is a British singing idol who has everything he could possible want at his disposal...private jets, hired help to cater to his every whim, thousands of adoring groupies who would do anything and everything for him...you get the picture...but all of that is not enough for him, not when he gets a look at Sabrina Newton.
When she is given the chance of a lifetime to go on tour with him and be his "handler" of all things...it is a challenge for her to NOT become another one of his conquests...and NOBODY ever says no to Nick.
I loved this sweet but sassy love story of opposites attracting and also what happens when the masks we wear in the public eye come off in private to reveal a very surprising person underneath all the glitz. This was a very fast paced and entertaining (sexy and playful) romantic adventure...and I would recommend it for not only rock book readers but anyone who loves a really well written story with witty dialogue that shows the strength and humor in the battle of the sexes to compromise and get their HEA.

***** 4.5 ***** "games people play to find love" stars =)

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book (given by the author)...

This is sort of an enemies to lovers romance book. Sabrina is in charge of Nick A/R, but naturally he decided to be a little disrespectful turd. I couldn’t understand how she fell for him so quickly when he was basically nasty, rude and spread rumors about her which affected her career. Basically Nick felt that since he was a rock god that he could do whatever he wanted to Sabrina to bring her under his control.

I didn’t really understand the relationship between Sabrina, her father and her aunt. I get that the family situation was tragic but why didn’t she visit her father more often; she essentially just checked in with her father through her aunt mostly.

I wanted to love it but I felt Nick was a huge buttmole to Sabrina and Sabrina herself was a little self-centered and whiny.

Holy crap, Nick is HOTTER THAN HOT!! The setting is glamorous, sexy, and truly rock n roll. A twisted, crazy obsession ignites a passion that leads to (spoiler alert) true love!! This was fun and exciting, and I liked the emotional depth of it. Five stars!!

Nick is the spoiled rock star used to getting what he wants, when he wants it. Enter Sabrina, the new A&R rep who challenges Nick in a way that intrigues him. Great quick read.

I could care less about Nick. His redeeming qualities were limited to treating his mom well. It's a short book with insta-love.

When Sabrina is assigned as the new PR manager for Nick Fallon she was terrified, this could make or break her career with the Record Label, plus she had been a massive fan of his for years. Nick's party-boy reputation and persistent charms were a PR's worst nightmare, and something fantasies were made of
Nick doesn't make her job easy, but for different reasons than you might think, he is insanely attracted to all business, acts like she is not affected by him girl. He suddenly finds himself readily wanting to change up things in his life for the better to please her- even though he tends to blunder things anyway. One way or another he will bring her over to his way of thinking.
I loved this sexy, emotional sweet, humorous rock star romance! This excellent storyline grabbed my attention and held it throughout!
I am a sucker for Rock Star romances! This book did not disappoint!
Breaking the Bed is a re-make of a previous of book by the author - Slay Me,- said to be deeply revamped- I cannot comment on a difference since I did not read the first book.
I would highly recommend reading this one though.

Nick wants Sabrina and he’ll stop at nothing to see that she’s his. Even force her to go on tour with him and keep him in line. Sabrina is attracted to Nick from the beginning, but tries to stay professional so it doesn’t cost her the job she loves…or her heart…

Another awesome rocker romance from Joanna Blake! Sexy, erotic, and fun in equal measure. The hero and heroine know how to raise the bar on sexual tension in Break The Bed. You’ll be hooked from the very beginning and you’ll hate to see it end. I loved the sexual tension, the verbal sparring, and the romantic gestures all throughout the book. Ms. Blake has a way with her words and I absolutely adore her romances, including this one! I love it, love it, love it!! 5 Stars

Nick and Sabrina along with this amazing book simply rock! What more can you ask for when you take a rock star who thinks he is all that, with a bit of crude behavior and put him with a uptight but sweet girl! Well you ask for a lot actually and you get it too! This books is full of humor, laugh out loud moments, hot scenes and is a true love story! This book defines the saying "Opposites Attract" and is amazing because of just that! Who doesn't want to see a grown rock star who is full of himself do a three sixty, fall to his knees as he meets his match and the women of his dreams! It was fabulous and I loved every bit of this book! Thank you Joanna for taking us on the tour with Nick and Sabrina's road to love!💜

This is the second in a series of standalone Rock God books. It is a great way to escape for a few hours and enjoy both and adventure and some romance. This author knows how to pull you (the reader) into her characters world and lets you experience in first hand. This book was so much fun to read as I was hooked from the very first page. This is the story of Sabina and Nick. She is a sweet, slightly shy woman and he is a load, bold and obscene rock god looking for his way into her life. As with all of this author’s works, this story is full of humor, great lines, a bit of action, steamy scenes and amazing characters. Gab a copy and lose yourself for a few hours in a wonderful world. I received an ARC and am leaving a voluntary review.

Break The Bed by Joanna Blake is book #2 in the Rock Gods series. It is an excellent book. This fun & entertaining story offers complex characters, sizzling chemistry and plenty of steam. Loved Sabrina and Nick! So much passion and attraction. This book can be read as a stand alone or out of order but I really recommend you read book #1, Up All Night. Trust me you do not want to miss Jess & Kendall's story. I highly recommend this series and all it's books if you love sexy, fun, hot romances. This is an honest review I am posting after reading an ARC copy of this book.

Rock star.

Gahhh I love her books so much but this one didn't do it for me. I absolutely hated Nick. He was god awful. Really the most selfish terrible person ever. I couldn't believe she was actually into him after everything. I did like that she didn't instantly give in or throw herself at him. I also liked the idea of the story. Rock star and the career women. The ending was my favorite part. Sweet and ended on a happy. Loved the cover as well.

This is another great read! Nick starts as a jerk, that pampered party boy that makes it hard to warm up to. He goes about showing his feelings in the wrong way. I really like Sabrina, she doesn't immediately put up with him and that strength she has shows through. The story flows well, keeps you flipping pages and wanting more!

I absolutely loved this rocker romance.
Nick Falcon -- swoons -- hotty with an accent. Who wouldn't fall for that? Apparently his new help from the record label, Sabrina.
When he lays his eyes on her he knows she's the one. Can he quit his rockstar ways to be with one woman? You need to read this book to find out.
Such a fun, sexy rocker book. I can't wait to read more in the series.

I received this one as an ARC thank you! I normally don’t ready any if at all Rocksatr books don’t ask me why but I just don’t they don’t really catch my attention not like the MC or mob ones do now those I love but anywho as I was saying I got the chance to read it and I gotta be honest I wasn’t sure I was gonna like it I didn’t like Bruce in the beginning I was having a hard time getting used to him or even know about him he just didn’t do it for me Katrina also I liked her but idk she was missing something the beginning we just read mostly on how Bruce wanted Katrina bad but wanted her for the sex which at first he was sexually attracted to her and Katrina well she also liked him a lot but what I didn’t like was that it mainly focused on how Bruce wanted her sexually eventually wanted her for more than sexual things but I wish the book focused on how their relationship grew how they got to kno more about each other not just that they were attracted to each other or sexually attracted I wanted more of how she writes about her other books heroes and heroines you kno for me it was missing a lot of things but regardless i still recommend her books to everyone there really good can’t wait to read more of Joanna Blake

Nick Falcon at first impression is a despicable pig of the highest degree and Sabrina’s nightmare. He is assigned a new executive rep (Wendell died) by the record label and Sabrina Newton needs her wits finely attuned to protecting her job yet working with the irascible devil.

His reputation precedes him, at their first meeting he refers to her as ‘the bossy tw*t’, followed by inappropriately propositioning to “rub his wang on her t*ts, and assuring her he shan’t “get any jizz in your eyes”, reducing her to exiting in tears of angry frustration.

There begins an adversarial taunting game of one-upmanship. He manipulates her into joining him on his tour and starts a ‘Date Nick’ public campaign.

“He was a stubborn horny, old goat”.

Discovering he was a mama’s boy endeared him to her, his Mum was perfect.

There is a wee bit of tension which they resolve in a timely fashion and all is forgiven. The End.

HEA.

Nick Falcon, rock star extraordinaire - thinks he is above everyone else, and is loved by all.
Meet Sabrina, she is an extremely hard working PR person for Nick's label - she is sent to get his next tour schedule set up, keep him on track and behaving himself.
Nick is immediately drawn to Sabrina, she wants nothing to do with him, personally, but, can't deny the attraction. Nick arranges for Sabrina to accompany him on his tour - he will change her mind.
They come to a mutual understanding - they go for coffee, sight seeing in the different tour cities, he does break her down - she is scared - what will happen when the tour is over.....

Another GREAT book - HEA hard fought - but so worth the read.

Rocker bad boy and good girl romance!

Kindle Unlimited book. Standalone. No cliffhanger. He's a bored bad boy rocker with a rocky past and she's a determined hardworking music rep trying to make a name for herself. When she steps through his door their lives collide in a story that will have you skipping sleep to find out what will happen next - a really good read - (gave lower rating because of the grammar issues that took away from the story and made me have to reread to understand) BUT it was good!!
