Danielle Miller has never known what it means to live carefree... Her entire life she’s been sheltered, living in a small town with an abusive father. But when she finally gets the courage to leave that life behind, she flees to UCLA to pursue a degree in screenwriting. She wants a fresh start with no ties to her past.
Then she meets Kayden Parker also known as Cage. He’s a bad boy, cage fighter who is covered in tattoos. He’s intoxicating, frustrating and the cockiest person that Danielle has ever met. Yet there is something about him that’s so additive that as hard as she might try, Danielle can’t seem to stay away.
Cage has only ever cared about one thing. Himself. Hook ups, alcohol, and cage fighting is what a majority of what his life consists of. He never stayed around a girl long enough to have anything special. When he sets his sights on Danielle though, something deep inside of him shifts and changes. She’s pure, innocent, and beautiful and he finds himself wanting to spend more time with her. He wants to get to know the real her. Will the two of them be able to overcome their pasts or will it be too complicated to even attempt?
