Christian Jack has been tattered and abused his entire life. Being repeatedly placed in and ripped out of foster homes during his childhood, he’s never had a family to call his own. No one has ever shown him love, compassion, or the support he desperately needs. All he’s ever wanted was to be a part of something bigger, something better. Driving home from work one morning, he stops into a local diner for a quick bite to eat. Sitting alone, feeling deflated, a complete stranger walks in and changes his world in the blink of an eye. The instant connection he feels toward her is like nothing he's ever experienced. Wanting so much from this mysterious woman, he can’t help but to see her in his every thought and dream. When an unexpected tragedy reunites them, it would be unbearable to him to push away the connection he feels for her. She’s everything he’s ever wanted and needed, but is she enough to turn his Cursed Heart into the man he needs to be for her?
I’m a fun-loving, down-to-earth kind of chick who loves to laugh, smile, and have a good time. Born in Allentown, Pennsylvania in September 1979, I’m a true East Coast girl who loves the mountains and the beach. In Spring 2012, I became an avid reader and since have read over 300 books ranging across genres, primarily focused on romance and paranormal. Simply put, reading is my escape, a way for me to turn off the outside world and get lost in a new one. I’ve found a true love in reading and writing, and I never imagined I’d be where I am today. When I started writing my first novel in June 2013, I was anxious to see where my journey would take me. Becoming an author has been a dream come true. This is more than just a hobby for me, it’s my passion!!
Wow just wow. That's the only word that comes to my head when I think of Cursed Heart. When we meet Christian (in Dault book Cursed Ecstasy) I thought he better not come in between Dault and Etty. As I continued to read I just wanted him to go away. Didn't want to know him didn't want to read anything about him. I won't spoil things for readers so I won't go into why I Feel so Bad right now. After reading Cursed Heart I want to crawl into the book and apologize to him for ever thinking this way. I want to hug him and tell him everything will be ok. I want Etty to be there for him. T.H. Snyder has written such a wonderful book that gives us a look into a man that is so broken and trying so hard to move past his own thoughts of worthlessness and become a better man. I thought Linc and Dault were broken but after reading about Christian I see at least they had each other to get through the pain of their childhood unlike Christian. I want more Christian he has now become my favorite. I am rooting for this man I'm holding my breath that his story will continue with love and he finds what he needs and I hope Linc , Dault (because I refuse to believe he's "gone") Etty, Jo, And the rest become what Christian needs a family. T.H.Snyder has hit this book out of the ballpark. It's short but gives us so much and you need to read this book.
T.H. Snyder is such an amazing author. I generally only read paranormal romance books but I am such a HUGE fan of the Cursed series. As you read the books from this series you cannot help but fall in love with the people and this book is no exception. Though I am not a fan of Christian, I found myself deciding that Etty should be with Dault and Christian could be with someone else...me. The book pulls you in and you literally feel every emotion the character is feeling, you go through all the pain and the rage they go through. I have found that Christian is not the dirt bag I originally thought he was but someone that is just dying to have what most of us want, someone that loves us as much as we love them. However, Etty is NOT for him she is for Dault. I am now going to impatiently wait for the next book to see if I can live through it as this book and 'Cursed Ecstasy' almost killed me. This book as well as the others in this series are a MUST READ and I will be screaming that from the mountain tops whenever I can. Bravo T.H. Snyder, you are brilliant!
This book was heart-wrenching and so good!! Novellas are just hard for me...little teasers because just when you get into it they end!!!!! I feel for Christian so much...to love someone you can't have...shatters your world. And to lose that piece of your heart that you can never get back.....ahhhh...I could just take him and hold him!!! 5 stars my lady!!!! Bravo!!!!
When I found out that t.h. snyder was writing a book for Christian, I wasn’t sure how I felt about it, I really did not like his character at all in Cursed Ecstasy, but getting inside of Christian’s head and seeing all he’s been through changed my mind a little on him, and I don’t despise him any longer. I’m not going to be jumping on the #TeamChristian band wagon anytime soon, but I definitely don’t want him to never return in the series again.
We met Christian in Cursed Ecstasy as the orderly who helped Etty and became friends and started to fall for her before her and Dault worked everything out. Christian is a poor broken man who has a lot of issues, and this made him endearing, in Cursed Ecstasy you really think he’s just a jerk, but in Cursed Heart you find out, he has reasons for how he is, and who he is.
I really feel for him, and like I said, his character doesn’t make me want to scream any longer, and I can’t wait to see how everything plays out in Cursed Fate. If you’ve read Cursed Love and Cursed Ecstasy, Cursed Heart is a must read!
I really love the way author T.H. Snyder writes. This series in am really enjoying. CURSED Heart is Christian's story we find out he saw Etty when she first moved to Alabama.in a restaurant on morning and was drawn to her . He felt a connection to her just by being in the same space as her and when they locked eyes he felt something more. He never talked to her but she was always on his mind, then.one day at work his Green eyed, Blue hair beauty was there alone and hurt. He knows this is his. chance to make a difference. He and Etty make a connection but for Etty she is mixed up and worried about her friends for anything but being friend but for Christian it more. What will become of Christi and Etty. I like how the story showed more of who is Christian and my impression.about him chanced when I read CURSED HEART. enjoy.
I had the opportunity to read an ARC copy for Cursed Heart, the story from Christians POV. You did get to know him a little from Cursed Ecstasy and it was nice to have his own story of Etty and how they met, which was sooner then you thought.... Christian is a nice guy with demons from his own past and after his story you let yourself fall for him and you feel for him....but does he belongs with Etty?! Maybe yes, maybe no.... A short and awesome novella by the talented T.H Snyder! Can't wait to read the final book of Cursed Heart and of course Cursed Fate, with the thrilling story of Steve, Dault, Linc, Jo, Etty and Christian!
Get cursed. I really enjoy t.h. snyder's writing style and I went into Cursed Heart with my eyes wide open. She takes you on a ride. I enjoy the depth of her characters and while this book was fast paced, since we'd met Christian in Cursed Ecstasy, it flowed and got us inside of his head. I was kind of disturbed at times, but that made him all the more real to me. Another cliffhanger, which I'm not normally a fan of, but since I know to expect it, I can just enjoy the ride and scream at her as I'm trying to flip pages that aren't there later. Highly recommend and another great installment to the Cursed series! 4.5 stars rounded up says you need to "Get Cursed!"
Cursed Heart gave insight to Christian's past, and why he's so twisted and torn. I loved Christian's POV on the situation. As much as I love Christian, I just don't think he's the right man for Etty. He has some serious issues, and he needs to work them out and be happy with himself before he can worry about making someone else happy. He really doesn't need the burden of being the hero for someone. He needs to find himself a hero.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. OMG!!! I LOVE CHRISTIAN!! Cursed Heart is Christian's story and WOW T.H. Snyder did a wonderful job with this novella. To really get to know Christian and what makes him tick and what holds him back makes you feel for him. OF course one of the Queen's of cliffhangers did it again but as you know book 3 will be out and it will continue with Lance,Dault,Etty,Steve,Christian and the rest of the crew. BEYOND 5 stars...
t.h Snyder is an amazing author I have loved everything she has written and Christian was no different. I loved having his background story, that being said he is NOT the man for Etty. When we were first introduced to Christian in Cursed Ecstasy I really liked him until the way he left things at the restaurant, then I thought "wow, what an a$$". I do hope we see Christian work through his problems and settle down with a nice women but not Etty, bring on someone new for him!
OMG, I LOVED this book!! Christian is trying to change and want to start a new life. His past has made him and loner, but once he sees Etty he want to be the kinda man she wants and needs in her life. TH Snyder is amazing and the Cursed Series is my favorite!! Would highly recommend this book!! TeamChristian <3
Christian, Christian, Christian.... You make my heart ache... You make me want to slap you silly... But you have a heart of gold!! Can't wait for more Tyf. Great job!
This was the best book in the series so far and it's a novella about a side character. We are able to get into Christian's head a see where he was coming from. It explained a few things and I'm glad to see him get his HEA.
Series: Cursed #2.5 Category /Genre: Contemporary Romance Received from: t.h. Snyder (as part of her Beta team) Recommended for: 18+ due to sexual content Grammar/editing: ungraded – book received as an unedited ARC / errors excused
This is the third book in the Cursed series, a novella to be read between Cursed Ecstasy and Cursed Fate. They do need to be read in order.
At the end of reading CURSED ECSTASY, you either love him or hate him, but who is he? Who is Christian? How has he become entangled within the lives of the crew of Cursed Ink?
When sending my beta notes to T.H, I told her that I predicted more flying Kindles with this story. Does that mean I think you should skip it and save your emotions? Hell no!! Don’t you dare miss reading it! I just suggest adding a tethering cord to your Kindle. T.H. will make you feel… angst, turmoil, suspension, disbelief, relief, and love (not necessarily in that order).
At the end of CURSED ECSTASY, I hated him. How do I feel now? Well, that might be giving it all away. I’ll just say, that we are all holding our breath to see what T.H. comes up with next. We know she will continue to blow us away.
Now to get back to inventing that Kindle tether we all need…
Cursed Heart as a novella in the series. Do not read if you haven't read Cursed Love and Cursed Ecstasy as this may contain spoilers.
In this novella, we see Christians POV of what happens between Etty and his friendship. When I first met Christian in Cursed Ecstasy, nothing really seemed too out of place to me. When we see his side... my stalker flag was shining bright red!! Holy cow!
Reading this part of the series only added to the suspense of the entire series. I was left with a pounding heart and found myself screaming. Dault and Etty's relationship is in danger again, who knows if they will come out of this together. Christian has a very unhealthy need to be in Etty's life.
I now have 10 day to await the release of Cursed Fate and I am shaking!! The suspense and romance in the entire series is gripping. This is a cold shower, hold on to your ereader tight, risk loosing your job because your reading at work, fly through series. I could not put it down and HIGHLY recommend it!!!!
Okay... so let me just say I was rooting for C in cursed ecstasy for a while! (Ducks from all the Dault fans throwing things at my head) I just loved him and I felt so bad for him. So naturally, I was over the moon when I learned he was getting his own book!! LET. ME. TELL. YOU. I love him so much more and I didn't even think it would be possible!! He has his own personal demons he is struggling with but the fact he wants to make himself better for a woman who caught his eye makes him all that much more special. Of course T.H. Snyder is the queen of cliffy's so she leaves me waiting....again... to see what the turn out is going to be. I'm not even mad about it because I'm excited that I will get to read more of this series from this author!! I love her writing style and I love her characters!!
Kudos to Ms. Snyder for writing a story about someone who I'd characterize as an antihero. Christian is a mess of a man. He's damaged, scarred, and he knows it. His strength is pushing anyone who cares away from him. He's on a downward spiral, and then he's saved - of course - the the Cursed Crew. And, with this series, I'd expect nothing less!
This series continues to keep me wanting more with each book - which is refreshing. Snyder's characters continue to be gritty, real, and have problems seen everyday and everywhere. Her well crafted characters and dialogue are gripping, and the plot lines seamless.
That I love this series, and this author, should be no surprise. I'm never able to quite figure out where her characters are going to take me.
I was lucky enough to receive a copy of this book early from the author. T.H. Snyder did not disappoint in this book. After Cursed Ecstasy there was so much controversy over the main character in this book Christian. While he is not my favorite lead in this series I loved this book. It was great to get to know him on a lead level and not just a support character. The author did an amazing job at making the reader feel the emotions and really understand where Christian is coming from. This has everything that as a fan of T.H. Snyder I have come to expect from her books. You either love or hate her characters but either way they stay with you and you can really relate to them. She is an amazing author and I believe everyone should read her work!
t.h. Snyder did it again another AMAZING story!!!! This story made me fall in love with Christian. I was happy, crying and just so heart broke. I can't wait for the next story in this series. I love this series and every time I dislike a character she makes me fall in love with them and fell sorry for them. If you haven't read this book or series you are missing out. I am so in love with this series and will be so heartbroken when it's over. T.H. Snyder is an amazing author and is the Queen of Cliffhangers in my eyes. I love Christian and Etty and now I don't know who I want her with. Anyway everyone needs to read this amazing story.
I love T.H. Snyder. She wows me with each new book that she writes. This one was no different. We were introduced to Christian in Cursed Ecstasy the second book of the Cursed Series. Christian was not one of my favorite characters. In fact by the end of Ecstasy I absolutely loathed Christian.
With Cursed Heart T.H. gave us insight into Christians head and I was so glad for that. I wanted to know more about Christian and Cursed Heart gave me a lot of what I had been wondering. Now having said that it didn't make me like Christian anymore. I am actually really left worried for my Cursed crew now. I really did enjoy this novella and cannot wait for book 3 Cursed Fate.
3 1/2 stars only because I never really could get into Christian. I think he means well and he is extremely broken and I usually love that kind of character but he was hard for me to get into. That and maybe its just because you already know how the story goes you just don't know the full story and I have trouble getting into a different point of view book. I love the cursed crew and I might start to like Christian but this story wasn't it. I am really looking forward to reading Cursed Fate and can't wait to see how this cliff hanger ends.
This is a short story, but so worth it and needed for us to be set for book three of the series. Here, we see again the extraordinary ability that TH Snyder has of weaving all this stories and characters. We get a look into Christian's backstory and we get to understand him so much better, that also makes some of us to get him out of our Black books. He helps Etty a lot after the events that we are left with in Cursed Ecstasy. Excellently told and entwined with the storyline in the previous book. Loved it.
Christian is a hardworking, troubled young man, so many memories from his past, that he cannot let go, feelings that have stayed with him, he has been longing to find that special someone he can/ will connect with, will accept him for who he is, he thought he found that with Etta, only to find that her heart is with Dalton. Emotional story, so much like youth going through foster system, but then there are the good results that come out of there also, well written.
This was a story I never saw coming. Christian is a misfit who just so happens to fall into the mix of the Cursed Crew. He's been destroyed and is only looking for his place in the world. Everything seems to be going ok, that is until his heart finds its way into the wrong place. I love this story, its short, powerful and to the point. Christian is a character I'd love to hold, hug and tell him everything will be okay. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I have writing it.
This was a totally amazing read that I finished in one sitting. It moved along at a great pace, has amazing characters that you will fall in love with and want more of and a story that wont let you down and keep you entertained from beginning to end. This has to be on your must read list. No doubt about it.
This was a great addition to the series. When I first read Cursed Ecstasy I was intrigued by Christian and with the way everything played out with Etty I felt for him in the end. I was super excited when I heard T.H. was giving us his story and I was not disappointed one bit. Dault and Christian each have their issues and I'm torn but I may be leaning toward Team Christian. :)
Even though I did not particularly like that character of Christian, I am so glad that I read this book as it gave me the chance to see him in a different light and actually kinda like him now. T.H really knows how to suck the reader in and give them exactly what they need, I cannot wait for the next book in the Cursed series. I am well and truly cursed
OMG OMG OMG! I still really hope that Christian is wrong in the end! I love cliffhangers, and boy does this one have me torn up, it ends right where book 2 ends, it's just from Christian's POV. I like Christian, I think he needs some serious help, which he is getting. I still love Etty though. My heart goes out to her. I need book 3 now!
