This was a really great story by author Yahrah St. John.
Amar Bishop the son of an African American Mother and a Middle Eastern Sheikh. His parents weren't married because his father was in line to become King of Nasir and his parents already told him he would marry another woman. Amar grew up with the best except the love from his father and watched his mother love him till the day she died. Amar wanted nothing to do with love and especially nothing to do with his father because he was considered the bastard son.
Rylee Hart is an only girl with two brothers, parents who love her and a father who keeps trying to marry her off to a man she feels absolutely nothing for. She is a veterinarian, loves the outdoors, working with animals and hanging with her best friend Camryn. Rylee reluctantly agrees to accompany the man her father wants her to marry to the Kentucky Derby but she will bring her best friend along with her. The only reason why she consented to go is to look after the horse Dreamer, Jeremy purchased and groomed to win the Kentucky Derby. Although Dreamer is the underdog he believes his horse can win the grand prize.
While Rylee is attending to Dreamer, she encounters the charismatic Amar Bishop, he is way out of her league and need to run for her life but Amar Bishop has set his sights on Rylee and he has no intention of her letting her get away from him, he will wear her down, take her away from Jeremy and make Rylee his. What Amar wasn't counting on was becoming ensnared by Rylee herself.
But before he can stake his claim completely on Rylee, he gets a call from his brother Tariq about their father having a heart attack. Amar runs to his father's country to be by his side, in the quest of being conflicted about a man he has hated his whole life and a woman who has brought him to his knees, Amar knows decisions have to be made because he finally sees that life is too short and very precious.
I loved Amar's arrogance, brashness and take charge attitude but underneath all of that was a man who was deeply wounded and hurting. Rylee is his healing balm and his all and all. Their story was so great. I need to check out the other books in this series because this is the only one that I have.

This was a love story about Rylee Hart and Amar Bishop. They met when she accompanied her friends Jeremy and Camryn to the Kentucky Derby. Amar had a horse racing against Jeremy of which Rylee was tending. This led to his pursuing her with several dates before their mutual attraction led to happily ever after.

When I started reading this series I started with book four and then went to book one. Reading in that order allowed me a tremendous amount of insight into what was to come. Regardless of that fact, I found this book to be as exciting as the other three books in the series. While the first two books are actually one long book broken in to two parts, this book was separate and distinct. Rylee, the only Hart girl, and an atypical one at that (she is a veterinarian, when her father wanted her to be a wife and mother), falls in love with a most unlikely suitor. She learns that she must continue to stand up for herself, but also open herself up to take chances. Amar is a man who has spent his life looking for love and acceptance from his father. By the time he discovers he always had that love, it is too late. The way Ms. St. John not only brings these two together, but has them overcome obstacles was fantastic. I recommend this series to everyone.

Loved Untamed Hearts which is the 3rd book in the series.
Amar and Rylee's love story was great that begin at the Kentucky Derby. Jeremy seemed to be a spoiled rich guy who gambled away his prized horse to Amar Bishop a Sheikh's bastard son in as they say a pissing contest between men because Jeremy's family and Rylee's wanted the two to marry but Rylee was having no part in it, she just wanted to be good friends with no benefits.
Amar was of mixed parentage being the son of a Sheikh and an African American woman who did not fit into his father life style.
A must read. Yahrah did a great job with this series. I love to read connecting stories.
Now to read about Caleb Hart "Restless Hearts".

This is a whirlwind love story. Like most relationships communication or miscommunication is always the downfall. When real love hits you confession frees the soul. Amar and Riley take of love is a really good read. The courtship will have turning pages and not taking breaks. Love this story. This is a recommend read.

Follow your Heart, the Hearts of Arizona delves into true love and the value we give to it, and the person we love. Amar Bishop only wants to be love and accepted. Meeting Rylee Heart is a dream come true. Fear, turmoil, and misunderstanding all have to be endured to know it worth following your heart.
