A mysterious stranger. A full moon. A strange lust. Lenore Anderson's plain world changes the night she meets the newcomer, Nick Connor. The new owner of a deserted old house, he exudes charm and questions. Why did he move to their small town? How is he so rich? And why does he look at Lenore with such hungry eyes? Those questions lead her into his strange, dark world and into his strong arms, and he'll never let her go. Desired By the Part One the first entry in the four-part Desired By the Wolf serial, and is not intended to be read as a standalone story.

I'm so blown away and even more intrigued by Mac Flynn books, I enjoyed getting to know the characters Lenore & Nick, I so can't wait to read more. :) *****5 Wolf Stars*****
This was just OK. Not enticing enough for me to read the rest. I was hoping for some more chemistry. It feels unfinished but the box set says it's not meant to be read as a novel all at once?
This book asks more questions than it answers. It's a GREAT READ!!!!
This was a very easy read. I was so engrossed in the story that it seemed like only 5 minutes.... and when I ran out of book I was sad. And I couldn't wait to write this review so I could get back to reading. This story is very curious. The mysterious good looking man who comes to town, buys a house that really should be torn down, not repaired, and has a boat load of money (from who knows where) to fix it up with. And, when we first meet him, he is buying a huge amount of meat, then, the next night buys another 1/2 a huge amount of meat. Very curious, or curiouser and curiouser?? I would recommend this book to everybody!
Another great series by Mac Flynn. I have only read the first book of multiple series, but I am hooked on this author's style of writing. Each series, whether modern or ancient, grabs the reader and rips them right into the book. I look forward to reading every book written in each series. I hadn't even heard of this author until I was looking for a shifter romance book. I am glad that I took a chance, and I strongly recommend this author to anyone looking for a good, albeit quick read.
In the short story, "Desired by the Wolf", Mac Flynn introduces us to a realistic and believable heroine that is not your typical stereotype boney thin gal you read being described in most stories. Lenore is honest to herself and to others about her not so perfect body. She is witty and challenging. The storyline captured my attention and held it to the very end. It did not take me long to get on Amazon and buy the complete box set of "Desired by the Wolf". The only problem with the story was that it was indeed too short. And I agree with some that in part one, if it was not for the title you would not know that the story involved a wolf, but it does set up the story. Looking forward to reading on.
Lenore was at the end of her shift as closing manager when a tall, dark, and handsome man came in as her last customer. As he came up the aisle with a basket full of meat, an old customer came bustling in. As Lenore introduced herself and Mrs. Brown. Nick Connor asked if they could recommend a carpenter as he was new in town. Nick had bought an old manor that needed a lot of work and he he needed a lot of help. Lenore recommended her brother and they made plans to look over the manors the next day. Lenore and Stan had a bad experience at the manor when they were young. When they were driving up to the manor, Lenore fell out of the car and was hurt. Nick took immediate action to help her. Who was Nick and why would he want an old, broken down manor?
I really just started reading the book. I have discovered several type o's. The book appears to be interesting, fun , secretive and mysterious. All good qualities in a good book. So I keep reading.
Yes I would recommend this book to my friends. I would like to read the second book!!!!!!. So let me read it.
I found this to be a fun quick read. I enjoyed the story and the characters, especially Lenore's humor. Should have checked the bio more...I hate cliffhangers...but that being said, just makes me have to get more of the story.
A really good start, but this is just a short snippet of a book! We meet Nick, the wealthy newcomer, along with Lenore, grocery store closer, and her brother Stan, a builder.
BORING!! The least so-called paranormal book I’ve read all year. Stale, flat and poorly defined characters combined with a slow, convoluted uninteresting plot.
